The PCH $10 Million Dream Sweepstakes

What do you dream of doing if you won the $10 Million SuperPrize from Publishers Clearing House? We asked some folks and here’s what they said.

“If I won I would first make sure all my debts were paid and then I’d give some money to everyone in my immediate family to help them out. I would then take some time off work and go visit friends and family all over the U.S., and travel to a few countries that I have always wanted to go to. Finally, I would buy a house and a new car and save some money for the future.”

- Susan M.

“I would take a yoga retreat for one to two months. I’d buy a second home and start preparing for retirement.”

- Cookie V.

“I would start a foundation that helps people who are really in need. I would also go on vacations and enjoy all of Mother Nature’s blessings!”

- Constantinos M.

“I’d give to the following:

$150,000 to disabled veterans

$250,000 to local animal shelters

$250,000 to the local Children’s Hospital to make the children’s stay nicer – toys, games, books and a parents’ comfort zone

$250,000 to fund research for diabetes, multiple sclerosis and breast cancer

$100,000 to the police widows’ fund

Plus, I would start building our home in North Carolina and then pay my parents’, brothers’ and sister’s mortgages off. I would set up college funds for my children, niece and nephew. Then I’d take my family and friends on a vacation, because we all deserve a little fun! If there’s any left over, I’d really like to have someone come in and clean once a month!”

- Jacquie R.

Tell us your Ten Million Dollar Sweepstakes Dream! Enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and maybe it will come true!

I would rebuild my credit history that was severly damaged when becoming involved with an individual whom took advantage of my vulnerabilities after the death of my husband. I would buy the simple things in life that would create a freedom I have not known for nearly 28 years; buying a GPS to remove the isolation I have been engulfed in since a car accident that took away something so precious as being able to drive to where I would like to, like I used to be able to do.
I would be able to replace my car that stops when it feels like it.
I would be able to go to the dentist and dr. when I need to, rather than when I have to.
I would take my only daughter and grandchild on a vacation to Disney Land that I told her I would do when she was a child.
And I would have a real home; one that noone can make me leave, because I was not a citizen of their country.
I would put the rest in the bank, and continue to live my life to the fullest, knowing that when I am old and it is my time to go, I will be able to go in contentment knowing that my child will not have to live in poverty and feel the shame of what society does to one who has little or nothing.
Lastly, I would thank God for the gift of bringing something so great and wonderful into my lifetime.

I will speak as a winner!
I am going to give to my sons the things that I was not able to give them as a young mother of little means. They are now grown and have families and it would be wonderful to make them happier with a better home, transportation, and help them start a business if so desired. I will also share with other members of my family and charity. As for myself, I would like to travel, have a new car, home, a small business (maybe), RV, wardrobe and really enjoy life with my loved ones.

This money would mean a lot of things to a lot of wonderful people, and mere strangers. I would pay-off my Dad’s mortgage; he’s 85 y.o. After Government Taxes, I’d give 10% to my church; and 10% of what’s left to help the children and the elderly. I have 6 children (adults)a nest-egg,and 4 grandchildren whose college would be paid in full. Some of my neighbors are struggling and they deserve to be helped. Last but not least there is me. I always wanted a log-cabin home in a clearing in the woods, w/swimming pool, 2-car garage, neatly lawned backyard and front surrounded with flowers and scrubs, and trees. All bills paid, A+ Credit, student loans for self a friend or two, the rest would be invested to help support the economy, and possibly 5 friends starting our own business to give people jobs.

D. Coward said...

It is easy to say what I would do with 10M if I won. It would certainly be a magnificant dream come true simply because my family and me did without for many years’. My Dad worked 2 jobs, and my Mom was a Nurses Aide, caring for others’, and I took care of 5 brothers’ and sisters’ from 13 y.o.Mom died just two years’ ago, and when I could I gave her every gift I could get my hands. She was my mother and my friend, but my Dad is still w/us. So, how can I not help the ones’ I love? How can I not help little children and the elderly if I have the power to make some part of their lives better? I’m not a “do-gooder”, but I “wanna be a do-gooder”. Promising is one thing, but doing what you say is another. I know this is true because the joy is in giving. This is what Winning PCH 10Million Sweepstakes would mean to me…Blessing others’ before myself. Thank You.

What whould I do If I won, I would full fill my promise and take care of my my mom and sister. I would be able to help pay student loan debts of my children, I would pay my debts so we will have a home and food to eat to continue supporting my mother in law who is a widow after her husband lost the battle with cancer. I would be able to continue to have a home for my sister in law who is disabled. Then I would donate to my local churches to thank GOD for winning. Last I would donate to charities and help others i need as I was in need prior to winning this money. Through out my adult life with my husband, we always put our time to help othes, opened our home to people who needed a place to life and food to eat. Growing up I had numerous goals and dreams of where I would be. In these dreams there was never a situation where I would be 50 years old, no longer able to work and I am not able to provide for myself, let alone help others. I pray everyday to GoD that he will not reject me and and answer my prayres that the funds will come for me to once again support myself and those that life with me, and to be able to full fill y promise and take care of sister and mom,m to help my children, to give freely to the church and still have money left over to help othes.

I have been out of work for over a year now and it would be really nice to be able to not owe anyone ever again. I have been working on grant money proposals to open a Non-Profit business that will support the community besides put more people back to work.

Honestly, First, my church would receive 10% of the total amount. I would move into a small cozy little condo and purchase an inexpensive car, and place a little in my savings account and continue to live a Godly, Christian life as I try to continue to make it to HEAVEN as my “final” home.
Then I would send my grandchildren on to college, purchase my only child a small house. Give my 3 sisters and 2 brothers a few dollars.
All the other funds would go to various Charities with the first one being a donation to the “homeless” shelter. This is my honest desire if I am blessed this way.

First off I would thank God for such a wonderful blessing. Set aside enough to cover the taxes, tithe on the bottom line to various charities, BUY OR BUILD A HOME in the Wallowa County, OR area on 25+ acres. That home would have multiple purposes so nothing fancy, just well built, functional and well insulated with maybe one luxury for me and plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I want my son to get the best medical care possible and be able to finish college when he is healthy and not have to when he is not healthy enough to. I want to also carry out some of the wishes of the parents I loved and lost, help my family in TN that they may have a better standard of living for all the people they help and a new car for my husband and son (if he will take it!). Hold onto what I can for upkeep and ongoing emergencies.

I would buy my mom and dad a house and help other people who have lost their jobs. Due to extensive illness and job loss, mom and dad lost all they had. Seems like your winners always have nice homes, etc. Would be nice to see a poor person win the big prize. Happy holidays and God Bless.

God, I need that $10 million to save my house, have the operation I need and live the rest of my life in comfort. I’m 74 years old, widowed, lonely and desparate. I could go see my children before I die and pay my bills. I live alone in a modest home that is comfortable but small and I would love to have the security of not having to wait month to month starving. Carol Barrett

I PLAN ON FIRST PAYING THE TAXES, THEN BUYING LAND TO HIRE PEOPLE TO IMPLEMENT MY FARM AND TREE SOLUTION, ALSO PLAN ON GETTING A NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATION THEN START HIRING MORE PEOPLE TO BUILD MY INVENTION, SO I CAN AFFORD TO IMPLEMENT MY DISASTER SOLUTIONS ON THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AND IMPLEMENTING MY TORNADO SOLUTIONS BY HIRING AND TRAINING PEOPLE TO KEEP OUR PEOPLE FREE FROM DISASTERS. MY RIVER PLAN WILL NEED AT LEAST 1000 PEOPLE TO STOP ALL RIVERS FROM EVER FLOODING AGAIN AND AT THE SAME TIME PUT AMERICA BACK TO WORK. IN THIS PROCESS IT WILL ALLOW AMERICANS TO TOUR OUR COUNTRY BY INNER WATERWAYS BY IMPLEMENTING LOCKS LIKE THE ONES THE PANAMA CANAL ZONE HAS AT EACH PART OF THE ATLANTIC. IT WILL ALSO BRING MORE FRESHWATER AND FISH FOOD INTO OUR COUNTRY IN AREAS WHERE ALL CAN CATCH AND ALLOW THE OCEANS TO DROP SO THE DOLPHINS, PORPOSES, WHALES AND LARGE FISH AND MAMMALS CAN FIND THEIR HIDDEN FOOD THAT THE EXTRA WATER IS HIDING. A MUCH NEEDED PLAN UNTIL MY GLOBAL TEAMS ARE ABLE TO DELETE GLOBAL WARMING WITHIN 3 YEARS, PROVIDING NO ONE TRIES TO CHANGE NATURE. MIKE

I would purchase an oxygen machine for my home, and also a small machine to get out in the community. Medicare does pay 80% for the rental equipment, but medicare is changing me to a piece of equipment that I was previously using. The machine was not efficient to help me breathe. Medicare needs to let the physicians prescribe.

If I were to win I would keep the home I have right where it is and use the money to pay off the home and then make all the additions and changes. I would like to have a new deck and also put insulation and siding on the house. But first, I would want to enlarge the kitchen and utility room area to accomodate a wall oven. It’s difficult for me to bend and lift things in and out of my oven!

If I were to win the 10 million I would pay off all our debts and save our house. My mom passed away not to long ago and it has caused my dad problems. I would help him and save his house also and help my sister who is struggling. I have a new baby and I would be able to buy diapers and formula and pay for doctor visits without struggling and pawning stuff all the time to try to get money. I pray that things will get better. My husband has been on a raise freeze for 3 yrs. I hope one day I wont have to worry about money.

If I were blessed to be a lucky winner, I would give my friend some money for taking me in when I unexpectingly became homeless (Jan 2012 to present). I will financially help family members. I would like to purchase an environmental friendly vehicle, buy a comfortable home w/land, and pay off student loans to build credit; as I am a MPA Grad Student. I am also a long term supporter and advocate of wildlife, help hospitalized veterans, stop domestic violence, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research hospital, etc in which I would contribute donations.
