The PCH $10 Million Dream Sweepstakes

What do you dream of doing if you won the $10 Million SuperPrize from Publishers Clearing House? We asked some folks and here’s what they said.

“If I won I would first make sure all my debts were paid and then I’d give some money to everyone in my immediate family to help them out. I would then take some time off work and go visit friends and family all over the U.S., and travel to a few countries that I have always wanted to go to. Finally, I would buy a house and a new car and save some money for the future.”

– Susan M.

“I would take a yoga retreat for one to two months. I’d buy a second home and start preparing for retirement.”

– Cookie V.

“I would start a foundation that helps people who are really in need. I would also go on vacations and enjoy all of Mother Nature’s blessings!”

– Constantinos M.

“I’d give to the following:

$150,000 to disabled veterans

$250,000 to local animal shelters

$250,000 to the local Children’s Hospital to make the children’s stay nicer – toys, games, books and a parents’ comfort zone

$250,000 to fund research for diabetes, multiple sclerosis and breast cancer

$100,000 to the police widows’ fund

Plus, I would start building our home in North Carolina and then pay my parents’, brothers’ and sister’s mortgages off. I would set up college funds for my children, niece and nephew. Then I’d take my family and friends on a vacation, because we all deserve a little fun! If there’s any left over, I’d really like to have someone come in and clean once a month!”

– Jacquie R.

Within a few weeks, I will be having back surgery for a herniated disc. My income is $800 per month and next month it will drop even lower when my medical insurance rates rise.
At 71 years old, I cry myself to sleep everynight because I am afraid knowing that I most likely will have to apply for welfare in order to pay my bills. I am not a person who throws money away. I am driving a 13 year old car because I cannot afford to buy a new one. I have 2 children and they are all the family that I have.
I am tired of fighting my fiancial battle trying to stay afloat and pay my bills. Frankly, I am tired of living because I am burdened because of my low income. I pray that God takes me Home soon.
I have always been a giver, not a taker. There was a time when I was able, to gave away a lot of money to help people who are down and out. I donated personally and through my church. However, when my husband was put in a nursing home, I went through all our savings and when he died I was dead broke and still am.
I know my Lord Jesus will take care of me and I have nothing to fear, but when a person is my age, with low income, it is hard to stay positive and not live in fear.
I talk to my Lord Jesus every day and he assures me I will be taken care of, which at this time is really a mystery because I do not know how much longer I can survive on my low income. I have nothing to look forward to in my life that will change my situation.
I know Jesus answers prayer and I have been praying that he will bless me and allow me to win one of the PCH big money prizes so that I can continue to give to others in need. It will also give me peace of mind that I will be able to support myself without the horrible financial fears that I have. I cannot pay my real estate taxes, nor do I pay income tax because of my low income.
When I pass away, my children will be left the burden of having to pay the back real estate taxes. Not a pretty picture for them, nor is it something I would wish on anyone.
