PCH Contest Entry is Much Easier than a Dog Show Entry
As I watched the Westminster Dog Show the other night to see which canines won Best of Breed, Best of Group and Best in Show, I couldn’t help but see how laborious it is to enter those competitions! The training, the grooming, the travel, the emotional and physical strain. True, the trophy that goes to the ultimate winner may be worth money and prestige; but not everyone is cut out for the life of dog shows and that kind of pursuit.
And it so easy to enter our contest! You don’t have to be clipped and primped; you don’t have to be caged in a giant venue of yapping dogs; you don’t have to be fed a diet that’s only suited to champions; you don’t have to be kept on a leash. (I could go on and on.)
Let’s face it: Wouldn’t you rather have $1 Million or $10 Million than a silver cup that collects dust and needs polishing? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a dog lover and I have nothing against dog shows! My only point here is as head of the PCH Prize Patrol, I think the hundreds of Publishers Clearing House winners I’ve surprised as a result of their PCH contest entry would take the Big Check over a big trophy. Wouldn’t you?
Here’s hoping you wind up being the top dog!
