Former Publishers Clearing House Winner Prepares to Deliver Brand New $1 Million SuperPrize

I left my home in Toldeo, Ohio yesterday to deliver some of the best news anyone could possibly receive – the news that one lucky person just won a $1 Million SuperPrize from Publishers Clearing House! Before I tell you how I got to this point, let me first back up a little bit.

My journey began in 2008 when I began using PCH Search&Win.com to conduct Internet searches – something I was already doing online every day. The difference between PCHSearch&Win and other search engines is that these searches not only gave me answers to my queries, but they also gave me an online sweepstakes entry with a chance to win. And win I did!

On August 27, 2008 I was at the insurance brokerage where I was a part-time employee. I had been notified by Express Mail two days earlier that I was on the PCH Short List and had won at least $1,000.00 in the famous Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and that a bigger prize was a possibility. Still, what happened next caught me by complete surprise. The PCH Prize Patrol marched through the office doors, startling everyone present with a dozen roses, balloons and a Big Check that declared me the Publishers Clearing House SuperPrize winner! I was in complete and utter shock. My legs gave out from under me and I fell to the floor in disbelief. This moment changed my life forever.

Two years later and I’m now living in my dream home with my husband. I’ve also reconnected with Publishers Clearing House as the company’s very first PCH Goodwill Ambassador. Having won $1 million from PCH in 2008, I wanted to feel the experience of awarding that same amount to another lucky Publishers Clearing House winner. I’m thinking of it as a sort of passing of the torch.

I’m super excited and can’t wait to meet the new winner of the $1 Million SuperPrize. What will the winner’s reaction be? One thing is certain, the winner’s life will be forever changed for the better and for that I’m very joyful.

Hello, if one doesn’t receive a short list notification does that mean they’re not eligible to win?

    Hi Kathiusca,

In our bulletins, we use the term “short list” to emphasize to consumers that they can enter the final group from which our winners are selected simply by entering the sweepstakes. There are no further steps that need to be taken, no further qualifying rounds or eliminations. One timely entry puts them in the running for all the big prizes. All entries received by the deadline date go into this final group.

    Good Luck!
    Jodi @ PCH

I keep seeing in post and on the winning moments most people who won were contacted that they were on the short list via mail, If you are not on the short list does that mean you are out of the contest?

People…I think that I’m in this race.. I too want to win,..and I answer each and every chance, put myself in the program. However, hundreds of millions of other people are also in the game, so the odds are really, really great against my winning . I’m a good sport, having said this I wish you lots of luck.
May the sun shine on you.

Sincerely, Sam.C
