$5,000 a Week for Life – Where Did it Go?

For many PCHers the $5,000 a week for life big prize of 2010 is something they’ve been dreaming about. After PCH Blog readers read about the $5,000 per week for life PCH online sweepstakes opportunities, we hear countless stories of how $5,000 a week for life would solve their hardships and restore hopes and happiness

The $5,000.00 a week for life PCH sweepstakes is probably one of the most popular searches that PCHers look for, but one that may be more exciting is the $1,000,000 a Year for life sweepstakes that’s going on now. Million dollar online sweepstakes opportunities give PCHers hope to change their lives with big payouts certainly worth the free entry!

Even though the $5,000 a week for life sweepstakes is exciting, the $1 Million a Year for Life sweepstakes has also been gaining lots of praise from PCHers. One example lies on the PCHSearchandWin Fan Page, where tons of PCHers just like you are voicing out on how they would prefer to use the millions in sweepstakes money. The choices are: Go on a shopping spree, Pay off your bills, Donate to a charity, or All the above. To see what other prize choices, PCHers picked and to let us know which option you would prefer, visit the PCHSearchandWin Fan Page.

And while you’re exploring our Search&Win tab for the lifetime sweepstakes poll, spend some time telling us if you’d want to win $1 Million per year for life rather than the PCH prize of $5,000 a week for life.

Either way, PCH is ready to give away $1,000,000 a year for life on February 28th. Please don’t forget to enter our fabulous new million dollar sweepstakes before February 15th which is the last day to enter!

I can’t figure out how to get to the fan page, as it says it is under construction…
So I will post it here…

I would 1st pay off all my bills & mortgage, help my family with some of their own bills, set up some trusts for my grandchildren’s futures , & donate to some charities that I’ve always done but could not afford in the capacity that I have wanted..

As for which prize I would prefer…. $5,000. a week for life would put me in a income bracket WAY beyond what I could ever DREAM of making.( me & hubby combined). & I would be grateful with that..& probably be able to handle the budgeting & financial planning better on a weekly basis..& probably be MORE comfortable with that.

1 million a year for life is an overwhelming amount to even think about how you would plan right now for that kind of money coming into your life..
I know a GOOD financial planner would have to be hired !!! 1st thing!!

BUT I am still entering for it!!!

Maureen

I wish I knew how Doris Gray is doing with her $5,000. a week prize??

I would first thank the good Lord Jesus. Through Him all things are possible.
I would repair our church, make sure my tithes were more than ample for Jesus to do his work. After that was complete, our financial responsibility would be resolved. I would indeed assist our family. Also make sure our grandchildren and great-grand children were able to go to college. Having to work three jobs just to take care of our family, wife and myself at this time. Only through the grace of God have we been able to help others. Being the pastor of our church, God has gotten us through a lot issues in our lives. As His Spirit grows within myself and my spouse, we know He will be with us forever. Thank you for the opportunity to have a chance at being the confirmed winner.

Whatever amount i win one million for life or five thousand a week I will be very grateful. For those two big amount any will do. Whatever blessings I receive will be accepted with a lot of gratitude to GOD and PCH. It would make my life complete materially and spiritually. I hope someday someone will win the five thousand a week as nobody return the winning entry for that giveaway. It would really change someone’s life. Well, The PRIZE QUEEN seems not yet ready to divulge her true identity and decides to remain incognito. I wish I will be lucky to give the big win so I can share to FOOD FOR THE POOR, PARALYED VETERANS OF AMERICA.SALESIANS, AMERICAN HEART OF ASSOCIATION and etc. GOD willing and MORE POWER TO ME.I leave it to the hands of the LORD.

If someone won in your state won the previous year, a large sum like a million, does that mean that someone else can’t win because that state already had a winner the previous year?

Curious???

Barbara Mayo said...

I am unsure how any of the sweepstakes work. You have lots of contest but few winners. Spin the Wheel was one example who won all those prizes. Surely you can not promote that you can win, yet never let us know who and what they won. Surely someone should be winners in all these give aways. I don’t understand how the ramdon drawing gets no winners. Even in state lotteries some numbers are winners, maybe not the big winners. So why doesn’t your system allow for that instead of having the act number?

[REPLY TO THIS POST]
    PCH Customer Service said...

    Hey Barbara,

To view the winners of the Instant Spin Wheel you can click the following link: http://www.pchgames.com/

At the top of the page you will see a scrolling bar with the winner information, including the prize they won, the date and their username. To view recent sweepstakes winners you may visit http://www.pch.com and click on ‘Winners Circle’. Additionally you may view winning moments at http://www.pchtv.com.

In able for us to award a prize, the matching number must be returned by the person who received it. Should they fail to return their entry, you should refer to the Official Rules to find out the procedure we will take for that particular giveaway. Unlike a lottery, PCH sweepstakes are completely free to enter and win. Therefore matching the full number is required to win a prize, as our Official Rules state. We appreciate your suggestion and will continue to evaluate our prize awarding procedures based on the feedback we receive from consumers such as yourself.

    Hope this helps!

In adddition to Alana of PCH reply/info: You are aware that in every lottery drawing sometimes there are no big winner so what happens the prize grow larger and bigger. Also when you play the smaller games on your computer, at the bottom of it the winners name, their states and the amount they won are flashed.

“Your Wildest Dreams”
-Moody Blues-

(Revised Version)

Once upon a time
I remember skies
Reflected in “PCH” eyes
I wonder where “it is”
I wonder if “they”
Think about “us”
Once upon a time
In “My” wildest dreams….

Once the world was new
Our “Dreams” felt the morning dew
That greets the brand new “dawn day”
“I” couldn’t tear “myself” away
“from the PCH site everyday…”

I wonder if “PCH” cares
I wonder if “they” still remember
“how many times I’ve entered every single day..”

Once upon a time
In “My” wildest dreams….

And when the music plays
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow
When the music plays
I hear the sounds
“of PCH” I had to follow..

Once upon a time
Once beneath the stars
The universe was “Mine”…

I wonder if “PCH” knows
I wonder if “they” think about it
Once upon a time
In “my” wildest dreams…

And when the music plays
And when the words are
Touched with sorrow
When the music plays
And when the music plays
I hear the sounds “of a PCH sweepstakes”
I “dream I have” to follow..

Once upon a time

Once upon a time

I remember skies
Mirrored in “Pch” eyes
I wonder where “they realize”
I wonder if “they”
Think about “us”…

Once upon a time
In “our” wildest dreams
In “My” wildest dreams
In “their” wildest dreams..

“If Only PCH” could “make”
“My dreams come true…
the dreams I have to follow..”

If I were to win, it wouldn’t matter which prize I won. Our first goal is to pay off our student loans and credit cards. We also want to put a large chunk away for our children’s college educations – probably in the form of gold so whatever happens with our economy they always have that money for college. It’s been the dream of my husband and I to open a youth center where we live, offering free tutoring, clothing, safe haven, activities, etc. to the kids in our community. We also want to contribute to mission work overseas. Finally, we want to purchase a home large enough to take in and adopt kids who are presently in the foster care system. I can’t imagine how much we could do with either prize… how amazing would it be to finally have the finances to fund our dream of helping others…

Donnelle Myers said...

Either amounts sound really overwhelming.

A million a year? I mean, with that kind of money comes a lot of economic responsibility. You have to spend it, just hoarding it back seems like a hard blow to our fragile economy as it is.

Not to say that I wouldn’t want the million for life. I can’t think of a single person on earth who would ever turn down that kind of financial security, but I could find no qualms about $5000 a week either.

I mean, taxes excluded, that’s $240,000 a year! That’s more than what my father has made in a lifetime!

I can’t imagine even having $5000 dollars in my hand, let alone getting it every week. I’ve been dirt poor my whole life, with my father slowly killing himself in the construction business while trying to support my handicapped mother my whole life. Just thinking about it is more than I can conceive, being financially secure, finally able to shake my stress and be happy for the first time.

Ever since hearing about the contest, I’ve been slowly budgeting what I would do, ’cause, you know, a girl can dream.

The first thing I would do is move us all into a better house, a rental. My 4 person family is currently sharing 2 bedrooms, one of which is inaccessible, and a bath. Because of constant moving and budget, my poor nephew has never had a room of his own, and he’s already 7. I’d want to get us space, cleanliness, and someplace closer to my father’s school.

That’s another thing. I’d want to move us closer to his school. Years ago, my mother and father had a dream of opening a motorcycle shop together. It was one of those intimate things that they had shared that I had always admired. But after my mother died, my father gave up.

After about 6 years now, I’ve finally been able to convince him to fallow his dream, and he’s in school now to be a Harley Mechanic. I’m so proud of him, strait A’s, something he never got in highscool, is such a moral and confidence boost on him, but the drive is so, so hard on him and his failing body, which has been giving up on him after years of hard, menial labor. I want to get him the jeep he’s been pining for and movie closer to school, just to help out.

It’s depressing, though to watch him stumble about in pain at 54. I’d get him the medical attention be both needs and deserves. With several heart attacks and diabetes that we can’t afford the medications for, as well as a broken tailbone that never healed, knowing that I could pay to take care of him like he really deserves would be the greatest gift I would ever receive.

After taking care of housing and my father, I’d take care of my nephew. I’ve been caring for him since his birth, and so far he’s been left in want more than I am comfortable. I want all new cloths for him, new toys, better schools. I want to spoil him, just for a little while, like he should be.

And my Aunt too. She moved in with my family to help out financially after her husband died. She’s not used to living as poorly as we have to, and it’s like it’s sucking the life out of her. I want to repay her every penny, fix p her poor car, and take her on a shopping spree she’ll never forget, to try and pay her back a little kindness.

After the last year or so of my father’s schooling, I would have to move. That’s why I would choose a rental at first, for that freedom. I’d get my father his tools, the one’s he mentioned every single time he sees the package, and set him up somewhere where we all would be happy.

I’d put my nephew in private school, and settle us all down someplace nice.

That’s all I really want, someplace nice, where I don’t have to stress of be depressed, where I can forget that nearly every problem I’d had up till then could have been solved if we’d only had the money.

It’d take time, and some budgeting, but I think once all that is said and done, after we’d done the necessary, then done the splurging, after we finally take my nephew to Disney world and pay off my sisters school loans, after we settle down and take a look at a new life where we are happy and healthy, maybe then I can figure out what I woudl do for myself.

I don’t know, I think by then I’d be too content to care.

I have been playing pch for years now, although I have always played through the mail. This is the first year I have played online. I know that the odds of winning are very great. I would love to win the $5,000.00 a week for life. I have never needed it as bad as I do now. Even though the chances are so small, it is nice to dream about it. Since I have been homeless for 5 years and been staying with friends and family during this hard time. I know what is like to be bouncing back and forth on the streets from place to place, is not easy being ill. If I ever won this I would buy a little home of my own. I never understood why people buy mansions to live in because they are rich. It only takes a small space to make a home. I then would build a shelter for homeless people. Then I would give to the cancer research center. I would also give to my churches. Since I can’t take it with me I may as well put it to good use now. I don’t want to pray for money, I think I will save my prayers for people I now who are terminally ill as well as praying for my own health to improve. God bless all, good luck to all who are playing pch. Sincerely, Lorraine W.

    Hi Dennis,

Please keep in mind that our mailings are opportunities for a chance to win, and provide clear information that the recipient has not yet won any prize, must enter by the deadline, and must be chosen to win. In order to win an entry must be selected by random drawing or match the winning number selected. Please remember that while we receive entries from all across the land only one individual can actually win each giveaway.

Please be assured, if you are one of our lucky winners you will definitely be notified. If you are picked as a winner of a prize of $10,000 or more, you will be notified in person by the Prize Patrol. Prizes of under $10,000 are notified by certified mail or by courier. These awards are done as soon as all winning entries and prizes are matched. Our most recent winners can be found on the bottom right corner of our web site under the “Winners Circle” link. You may also view some of our winning moments at: http://www.pchtv.com.

And remember, a purchase is never necessary to enter or win the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes!

Best of luck in the sweepstakes!

To win this would help my family a great deal. With medical problems and being on permanent disability. Wy wife works very hard. I couldn’t imagine how it would feel. As veryone we all have problems we feel winnning would salve, I too have had my share of family members I could help, and I too have had hardships I have had to over come, such as raising children by myself and working to put food in thier mouths,a roofover thier heards and know help from the father, but I did what I had to do. I also had an auto accident that put me out of work for a while, but I survied. even helping a brother with cancer by taking him in to my home when his family abandoned him, he since passed but not without suffering, This has all pasted and I’m still here. It seems now is one of the hardest times. I’m pasted the age of employment never thought of saving for myself in retirement, now live with one of my daughters who bought her home at a time when prices were high now the home is upside down as they call it and she has applied time after time for mortgage modification two years now and still they waunt up dating. It’s a viciuos cycle that keeps one up a night, I can only help her with my social security by paying utilities. This is the first time in my life I have not been able to pull out of a situation to help. Should I win I would pay off the mortgage and make much needed repairs. Thank you for your time.

Money sure would make life easier. First, put money away for the grand kids education.
I need another car, not a new one, just one that isn’t 11 years old. Then put some money away for the wife and I to attend some of our Navy Reunions, I was an electrician aboard the USS Ashland LSD-1.
Now I’m a busy Mason and Shriner CLOWN, so some of the money will go to the Shriner’s Hospitals, some to my Masonic Lodge, and some to my church, they need repairs on an old buidling. Thr Red Cross is high on my list. I’m a 22 GALLON DONOR, and have worked on many mobiles over the past 52 years.
And there is always someone knocking on my door, looking for a donation for something.
It would be money shared, and well spent. TNX

Well, if I won $5000.00 A week for life this is what I would do…like anybody else I would pay off my bills and then I would by a modest house nothing outlandish. I would however treat myself to a new car because I have never had one don’t have one now but the ones I did own were used and could only last for so long, but again it would be new but nothing expensively crazy, the next thing I would do is help the people who have helped me none of which are family, my parents live 6 mintues from me and could care less if I was alive or dead, sad but true, I have never been on drugs or had any problems like that I started working at the age of 15 and started taking care of myself at 19 so I have always worked and will continue to do so until I can’t, I would not give money to a church because I don’t go to any and besides the one time I did ask a church for help they turned me down because I was not a member, they also have turned down several others who were despertialy in need of food and other resources I am not saying all churches I just personally know of a few, I would rather walk to the door of a total stranger and bless them myself than give to a church, one other thing I would make sure to do is to set up A completly free non-profit organization that would help people who are eldery, disabled, and on ssi incomes that strugle every month with the choice between shelter, meds, and food. They should not be in A postion to have to choose every month of how to survive for the next 30 days, I would have big businesses and corps all the way down to our communitys to donate, I would start with my own money and free time to help with this and hopefully pass it on to the other states not just mine, I am poor like most people today, I have worked, starved, struggled, cryed, begged, and smilled from time to time as bad as I have had it at times in my own life I always remind myself there is someone out there having to deal with alot worse, even though I don’t have nothing now but my health and the grace of god I still help others as much as I can….I know that I will probably not win this or any other lottery in my life ( it’s nice to take time and dream,,and dreams are free) but I hope the one person that does will be blessed and find a way to bless others…..

first of all if I were to win $5000 a week for life . I would make sure a I would pick 2 families from church to help them out with food and shelter for their children and their bills paid. [REPLY TO THIS POST]
    PCH Customer Service said...

    Hi Robby,

Yesterday’s draw was an “Early Look” draw. The $5,000 A Week For Life was the primary prize promoted for the giveaway and the $1 Million was the secondary prize. In the case of yesterday’s draw, the $1 Million prize was awarded as a second chance drawing.

During the course of an ongoing SuperPrize Giveaway, PCH will conduct “Special Early Look” drawings to see if there is a winner of that Giveaway. If there is no matching winning number for a Special Early Look Event, the primary prize amount promoted for the Event will not be awarded; however, PCH may elect to award a secondary prize for the Event in a second chance drawing. If a SuperPrize is awarded as part of a Special Early Look Event, PCH will replenish the prize to allow the Giveaway to continue.

    Hope this helps!

    Regards,

My doctors gave me an expiration date and I am so over PHC all I wanted was a house that didn’t leak and move when the wind blows not much to ask is it, So PHC get off my facebook page I would never let anyone get there hopes up year after year and get nothing, Play the lotto at least you’ll win a dollar once in a while.

PCH is a legitimate sweepstakes company. Over the years, Publishers Clearing House has awarded over $227 Million dollars in prizes to people all over the United States and Canada. PCH Sweepstakes winners are chosen at random, and each entry has the same chance of winning. You never know who will become the next BIG winner, so don’t lose hope!

From millions of dollars to new cars and many other prizes…. yet we have received nothing!!! The calls that we receive always end with us sending some type of money that we have to send in for operating cost. All of the calls come from numbers from Jamacia, and Fort Lauderdale, and unknown numbers.

There is so much I could do with this gift. I would first help my Community which needs funds so badly (to help our elderly and infirmed nuns). Plus their residence needs renovations to it. Second, I would be helping my Parish which has a large debt. We had to close our school, after 56 years, due to finances; now maybe we can reopen it. Last, I want to help the poor; feed them, save their homes and give them the necessary things, to live and prosper. Thank you so much.

Since they ask your age, I am not surprised that older people are winning because, when the “panel of judges” choose the winner, and see that the person is in their twenties, they are going to throw that winning number away and choose the next one… of COURSE pch wouldn’t give out a mega prize to a younger person because the million a year for life or 5 thousand a week for life would have to be given a LOT longer, meaning more money to shell out for someone in their twenties or thirties, rather than a senior in their sixties. If you watch the winning video clips, you’ll see a pattern, and you’ll know what i mean.

[REPLY TO THIS POST]
    Victoria At PCH said...

    Hi Chelsea,

Age is not a factor in PCH winner selection. The reason you are asked for your age when you enter is to make sure that you are 14 years of age or above and therefore eligible to win the sweepstakes. Winners are chosen at random. If a win for life winner dies, the payments are made to his or her estate in the same manner as they were when the winner was alive, so the pay out is the same for PCH.

I keep submitting my entries in hopes to be the next winner. I just moved into a new home by the grace of God and my job is about to end next month so I really would like that dream to come true. All my life it’s been a struggle with 6 kids and being a single parent, had to get a divorce 11yrs ago when my husband became a crack addict and was stealing and selling everything we had; even the children banks but I have made ends meet and now the ends are just getting close and not meeting up. I have Graves disease and don’t let that get the best of me or hold me down for the important things in life like being around and there for my children. I’m currently looking for another job or two to hold on and maintain what I have. Even though I have my own children I’m always there for everyone else children as well, and that’s been my whole life. They need somebody to and I have no regrets in being there for them. This winning would mean so much to me and I would be able to do so much without any concerns or worries. Therefore I will continue to submit my entries in hopes of being the next winner. Gloria Rowell said...

Good morning and happy Monday! I would like to post my hopes on winning either $10 Million or $1 Million A Year For Life. I have been married a year to a wonderful man; our life together is fantastic except for the fact that we both have PTSD. We have been in counseling for our conditions for the past six weeks because my husband was accepted into the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). My sweet husband recently accepted a position with a company through DVR and although he is making just above minimum wage, child support is taking 65% of each check which means we only have a few hundred dollars a month to live on, yes, a month. I am a full-time online student pursuing a degree in clinical psychology to help trauma victims. I will receive my Associates degree in September of this year and will continue to a Bachelors, Masters, then PsyD.
If I were to win $10 Million or $1 Million A Year For Life, I would continue my degree. We would pay-off all our debts then buy a big home so we could afford to have my husband’s children and my children live with us. My husband’s ex is a drunk and a drug addict and has total custody of their children and she slapped a lifetime restraining order on him so he cannot see his precious babies. I think this is terrible and unreasonable of her but this is how she is. My husband and I are both in fear of how his children are being raised and we think they are in danger because of the way their mothers lives.
When my husband was married to her, he did not know he had PTSD but knew there was something not right. He gave up drinking and drugging (his ex did not) but had a melt down one evening, so the police were called and he was swept away and locked-up for awhile. When he was released from jail, he was homeless and had nowhere to go (he has no family what-so-ever and his ex had turned all his friends against him), he was left alone with a felony menacing charge, no money, no job, no car, no clothes, and could not see his babies because his wife played the victim and got her way with restraining orders. He had a public defender but the public defender did no good, in fact, he did more damage. My husband lived on the streets and in and out of homeless shelters for a year. When I met him, he was ready to completely give up, he had no hope. He told me he was amazed he had lasted a year without his children. I live in another town and brought him to live with me in hopes of him rebuilding his life. We fell in-love with one another and married the next year. I have very little income so I could not help him get a lawyer to fight for his children. He could not attend any of his divorce hearings because of the restraining orders so his ex got everything she wanted. My husband and I have tried to build our lives together but have not been able to get ahead financially. I had a checking account so when we got married, I added my husband to it. We got a phone call last November from the bank stating that child support had come in and taken the $300 we had in our checking account. This money was for my son’s Christmas/birthday. (My son and I were both born on Christmas.) Then the bank charged us $100 so we were at a negative $100; we could not close our account until we payed the bank the $100. The bank said that if child support tried to get anymore money from our account, we would be charged $35 for each time plus another $100 for the charge of child supports attempts. My husband and I cherish our children and need our babies with us because we are on our path of recovery together and know that we can help our children more than our exes can. I would use our winnings to get our children back and provide a loving, stable, sober home for them. Please help us in achieving our dreams, thank you.

Hi
I would rather win 5000 a week for life but either 1 would benefit my family financially. My mother was just diagnosed with breast cancer and we cannot afford her medication. Her job barely give her any hours so we struggle when it comes to paying bills. The there’s my older sister she has a baby that she struggles to provide for and I would love to make it easier on her.She does do her best and I must say my niece is happy, beautiful, and healthy. With that money I would also love to help the world, all of these rich corporations and people and they do nothing.Apple for example they made enough last year to get rid of our national debt and still have money left over.I would love to help out with poverty and world hunger which are the two I find closest to home.Lastly there’s me, I’m in my second yr of college and I need to transfer to a university but I can’t afford it.When I graduated high school I was accepted into UCF but I couldn’t afford it so I went to community college but they don’t offer me any more courses and I really want my education. This money would do so much good not only for me but my family and I guarantee the world will see benefits as well. This will make all of my dreams as well as others come true.

First of all I would give all Glory to God and thank Him for the wonderful things that He has done by giving 10% back to Him. Then I would pay my house off, clean mine and my husbands credit and buy two new vehicles to make sure we can get back and forth to work with no problem. I’m not crazy and I know money don’t last forever and I have the sense to know that I have to continue living. But at least this way I know I could live peacefully and finally give God the time He deserves. Then I would help family and some well deserving people who we (my husband and I) know that can use the help. To God all be the Glory.

I believe this is one incredible HUGE amount of dollars and it might be nice to reduce the amount and give to a number of winners, however, I do have specific needs for some of this in addition to giving to my church and many awesome charities in my community. I am holding my breath. My father in law who passed away years ago had his Chicago table full of info from PCH and always thought he would win, but he never did, I hope he is watching from above when you come to my home soon. Thanks and God bless you folks for helping those that you do.

If I were to win the $5000.00 a week for life or any amount of money it would be the answer to a prayer right now. My husband had a “freak” accident last june and has been unable to work. What savings we had has been used to pay our monthly bills. I am working but it is not nearly enough to make ends meet. Somehow we have managed. If I were to win I would give away 10% and use the rest to pay our bills off and help my family and friends that need it. I hope that whoever wins will actually need the money as I do and they are wise on how they spend it.

I would love to win the 5000 a week for sweepstakes more than anything in the world. I dream about everyday. I imagine myself doing house work and suddley the doorbell rings. I go to answer it and its pch. Im so happy that I dont know what to do with myself. I start to cry because im just so overwhelmed with joy. If I was to be blessed to win the pch I would finally be able to buy my mom her own house. She is just the greatest and a fighter. Shes has been through alot her whole life but shes been dealing with more the one person can bear for the past six years. Three years go she became sick with just about everything possible. Not to mention she was evictied from her apartmant and was force to stay with her sister. While staying there she became so depressed that she tried to take her own life and what made matters even worse for her she wasn’t really welcome there. So she left and went to stay with her mother-in-law and that place wasn’t better. She became so sick staying there that I had to take her to the hospital just about every week because nobody would take care of her. My mom means the world to me I dont know what I would do without her thats why I pray every night for her and a miracle. I just pray that I can be able to do something that special for her. Shes all I got in this world and her happiness means more to me than anything.

In a way I am so glad you didn’t post my silly message. I’m new to this internet stuff. I have been playing for about 10 years, and I am always waiting to see you come to my place. It’s nice to see that you reply to peoples comments. What should I do if I receive a mail page to play for any games, but it is to late for me to enter. It has happened to me more then once. I really don’t want to miss my chance to become your next winner in the win for life game. My family and I could really use the win to better our lives and help my children to go on to great jobs in their future lives after High school. My wish is to win so I can help my family and buy the land beside me to build a farm and a house my future grandchildren can come and stay for summer breaks. That is one of my wishes. The other is to just be a winner at something. please don’t post this. I don’t want to sound silly to others. I have had a tramatic head injury years ago which inables me to understand things most people can. I sometimes need it boke down into small words for me to get it. I will have this for the rest of my life, but it is manageable. I suffer from migrains. That is the worst. Thank you for listing to me. I really hope to see you this year.

Hello PCh
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to express my feelings about if I win this blessing. My meaning of this money is to have surgury on the tumor that I have in my stomach and build me a home for my family because I am not able to work and I get cursed out by my landlord every month. My house rent is $500 and if I am late they want me to pay a late fee of $50. This month I am late and I dont have another place to live. Me and my family was homeless one time, cause the landlord sold his home and told us we had ten days to move or the police will be here to throw us out. I am tired and my children is very tired of going through. So this money that the Lord have out there for the people that is in the need of. I hope that i or who ever win will be bless and i will bless some families in need like my family.

Love you all and hope the best for the winner!!!!

add your comment hereI would rather win $1 Million per year for life rather than the PCH prize of $5,000 a week for life because its more money. I would do things unconventionally.

First, I would not cash the first check without consulting a trusted finacnial planner and attorney.

Second, I would pay my first fruits or tithe to my favorite ministry.

After that was done. I’d use a portion of my net proceeds to purchase life insurance for myself, proceeds to go to trust for my family and children.

Id then pay off my parents house. Pay off my Nissan Sentra, then, go on a vacation.

She is wheelchair bound and I would love to be able to buy her a handicapped accessible home so that could live in comfort. She had a strokke last year and now she suffers from seizures if she doesn’t take her medicine. I made a promise to God that I would never put my mother in a nursing home so my younger brother and I take turns taking care of her. I just want her to be happy and remain healthy. Hello PCH

I love my mother so much which is why I take care of her(my younger brother also helps) and I promised myself that I would never put her in a nursing home. I thank God that she is still alive at the age of 74 after suffering a stroke and now she has to take medicine to keep from suffering from seizures. I just want her to be happy and remain healthy. Since she wants to live in a house it would be a blessing from God if my mother’s prayer was answered. I would also donate money to homeless shelters and I would help the homeless who refuse to live in shelters and live instead in parks and sleep on park benches–everybody needs God’s love even the invisible people–the homeless.

My father was a physician. He had very little time to himself, but he loved sifting through PCH ads at the kitchen table. It was the one opportunity we could talk. I don’t know if he ever won any thing, but it didn’t matter because we were together. I don’t recall how I started to receive PCH envelopes but I find it relaxing and exciting to find useful items for house, garden, health & recreation. There’s always the hope that I will win some money. When I don’t, I reflect on the small items that make life easier or better. Two pairs of socks for our cold winter were perfect this year. Now that my car is falling apart I secretly wish for the Lincoln. Thank you PCH for the wishes the dreams… oh yeah- can’t forget the magazines!! Keep pitching us dreams and surprises.

Once I started collecting the winnings, I would tithe my fist 10% to my favorite ministry. The remainder would be used to purchase suitable housing for my very large family, I have 6 children. Purchase my parents home. Purchase a couple pieces of property for my 3 sisters and their family’s using a few clever real estate tricks Ive learned over the years.

I would continue to work as an international sales manager for my commercial vacuum companie.

I have never done anything like this. I for one believe that with every good act one does, the same shall be returned. I currently do have a job, it does not pay well and it is no where in my field…I have two bachelors: Political Science and Sociology. But I am happy with the opportunity to learn as much as possible. But on the other foot I am a Military vet and recent college grad. My mom has severe Epilepsy and I really would like for her to enjoy life for once and me being the only son feel obligated to try and make this happen for her. I don’t need millions of dollars or anything like that, honestly if i was to win outright $500,000 this would solve everything for my family. I could pay off my mothers mortgage and car payment and at the same time allow myself to get my own place and a reliable vehicle. I am a very positive person and do try to look at everything as a positive learning experience. But on the other foot if millions were to happen there are so many families and organizations here that need some help. One is SAYS, which is a non-profit organization that works with and houses troubled youth. They are in the process of trying to build a new facility but donations are hard to come across and if anything I would love to see a top notch facility built here!!! So I like so many others am keeping my fingers crossed and hopes up high!!

I am poor, single, only 50 years old and disabled. I do not draw a monthly check even though I payed my taxes and my diabilities are well documented. If I won, I would pay off my bills and my home. Upgrade my home as i have never been able to handle financial emergencies. I would then find a way to get involved in advocating for those who are left behind with no goverment support due to mismanagement and ambivilance.

We are both supposed to go to college this yeah but it’s such a financial burden for my parents to pay for both of us, so I decided to take a yeah off and save up money for myself. This prize would also help, because I could then help my parents out with their bills such as our mortgage and our insurance, our phone bills, water and electricity for our house. This would just be a blessing for us. This prize just seems like a dream to me. If I could win this I know I could feel secure about what I’d want to do in life. Then I will start savings account for my children so that when they grown up they will have money saved a side for college. Also ill make sure they have everything they need like Pampers, milk and clothes.

Then ill start investing into stocks etc. So that I can also start a family based company. So that way I can help out not just my family but other people that are looking for jobs. So that they can also help out there family’s.

If I were to win 5000.00 a week for life, the first thing on my list would to make a donation to a company that helped me with a bill and medications when I was in need, then next on my list would to pay off all my doctor and hospital bills. then I would have to have a new car so I could look for work without having to look online, and not getting a job. then one important thing to me would be to help our displaced veterans, because there a lot out there that are lost souls and need our help for fighting for our country. I think that I would purchase a home last on my list.

Honestly, I would like the 1,000,000 a year prize for life. I have 6 kids. Though I would be just as happy with the 5,000 a week for life also. I would buy my grandfather and aunts/uncles a bigger house. I would buy my mom and dad a house. Buy a new used truck (SUV) or even a 12 or 15 passenger van…maybe a bus? (I have a bigger family of relatives) I could finally fix my credit and my husband’s. I would give to many children’s organizations (PTA, hospitals), senior citizen programs, and veteran programs. I would invest in savings for our family and rainy days, kids college and MAYBE, a get away leisure home (for the holidays, vacation, weekends). I would be able to finally fulfill my dreams of publishing my books. I would pay off 1 year of rent to my landlord. I would buy many scholastic/academic resources for my kids. I could finally buy a library for my home. I would fix our miniature back house. Get my kids braces. Finally be able to put my future Olympian daughter into gymnastics!! Give my daughter her guitar lessons. Give my boy his trip to Legoland. Give my step daughter her horse lessons. Give my step son lessons in martial arts. Give my special needs step daughter tools to publish her own fairy tale books and help publish them also. Pay my sister back so that our relationship is no loner at bay. I would finally get to travel to India, Kenya, Haiti and others to participate in humanitarian efforts. Travel to my where my roots come from which is several places. Give to the communities (GOD) – our county and the school system – education (kids as well as teachers)…maybe buy a Barnes n’ Noble because I love books!! Fix my own teeth. Buy my kids a bouncer for their energy. Develop a park for the community. Finally fix transform our backyard (fix it up). But wait, there’s plenty more, though these are just a few things I would do if I won and ideas I have in mind to further invest. Sighhhh, it’s fun to dream:)

If I won I would thank God!!! I am going through a really really hard time. I am a single mom, with no vehicle. Also having a hard time getting a job. If I won 5000 a week it would change my life and definitely my sons life. If I won I would have the money to also give to charity! Something I always wanted to be able to say I did for my community… :)

I’m only 20 and owe 32,000 to my school. I would pay off my schooling with that money. My grandmother’s live together and are in desperate need of some assistance and I always have wanted to take care of them. So that money would be a blessing. I saw her crying over a bill and it made me sad I could do nothing. I hate seeing my grandma that sad. I would move out of my mom’s and start my life. I would love to help out my family and my self. I would give some to charity. Both of my uncles died of cancer so I think cancer research is important. I will not say that I wouldn’t be selfish and not spend any money on myself or whatnot because even in kindness and giving to others we are selfish about it. Applying for the sweepstakes shows us for even good intentions we are in want of something. But I hope I win. I know I probably won’t but it’s a nice fantasy to have. Something to wish for. I think I’d pass out if I won hahahahahahaha!!! But whoever wins is a lucky person and I’ve never been lucky so I won’t rub off on you guys. POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS TO WHOEVER WINS IT!!!!

Weather it is $5000 or $1,000,000 a week for life that is a lot of money that should be shared, of course like most folks I have my share of debt that I would like to pay off and week by week set money aside for my kids future. One thing I would like to do is contribute by investing and managing more transition facilities for our youth where they can live and receive proper treatment and the skills they need to take on their life with confidence.

I get very frustrated when I try to enter these contests. I get a pop up stating is an incorrect address.
I can inform you that has been a vory CORRECT ADDRESS for more years than I have been alive!
Mapquest has a glitch or some other thing that tells it is an invalid address, but that is THEIR PROBLEM, which many times makes it ours…as in this case!
You are most welcome to come see that, yes indeed, such a place DOES exist!
Even UPS drivers have finally found their way here!
Thank you for the ear!
Kathy Williams
P.S. You are welcome to bring your prize with you when you come! LOL

First off. If I were to win 5,000 a week for life. I would definitely pay my debts first. I’m flat broke and have a child and take care of my sixteen year old brother. I’m only 24 myself! Life’s tough and I could use that money for my families financial future. I am currently in college trying to save our finances, but that 5,000 a week for life would sure help.

Christopher.

hey there me again so ive thought about other things i would do if i won the 5000 a week for life. ive always been one to help regardless if im also in need for help too and want to continue doing that,im only 20 so dont hace major bills but having a son and being a single mom is not bad but is a challenge for me i really want to know i can be on my own with him and provide for him without anyones help ive always. had my dad there no matter what but want to finally stop asking for his help and instead help him out because he deserves it this isnt a sob story just my reason for really entering the sweepstakes not only for me but for people i care about and even people i dont know but need alittle help.ive never had something big like this happen to me other than having my son but maybe my lucks just around the corner and its about time i get a chance like this.

Everyone has one thing or another, in today age and economy, no one is safe.. medical bills plague everyone, we recieved one that was sent to court, and was told there was over 10,000 medical bills just for our county alone this year… Naturally everyone is going to try to pay off bills, get a house, new car, Id like to start some small business’s… already here where i live I can start 5 different business’s to help others that need jobs. Naturally with our medical bills, finding out I have diabetes ( and terrified of shots ), we rent, need another vehicle with 3 teens in home 2 that have disabilities, being in debt which isnt bad to most about 50,000, If I were to recieve any substantial amount, I would use it to first pay off bills, then start one business to help a few others, after one year make sure my family is well taken care of, and the business is running in decent order, and start another business… with these 2 business’s would enable me to supply the county with at least 30 men working, with the others in the future, one I know will at least proved 50 jobs by itself… Our economy is on our hands, not our governments,,, they sit and watch us suffer, so, someone has to try to provide jobs for our neighbors friends and towns… I would even start a scholarship for local teens in our community.. Our economy wont go away, so we would provide our community with as many jobs as possible with our good fortunes… This way, many, many more can benefit from someone else’s good fortunes…If I were to win any amount, especially 5000 a week for life, or 1 mil a year, my family and many other hundreds of family would benefit within a 10 year time frame… Thank you…
