Enter PCH Sweepstakes Daily – Your New Year’s Resolution?

As the end of the first month of the New Year approaches, I realize that I forgot to make a New Year’s resolution!  Between cooking for the holidays (and consequently cleaning up after the holidays) and the never ending snow fall in New York (and endless snow shoveling), it has simply slipped my mind.  But I say it’s better late than never.  So here I find myself coming across the same predicament as every year.  What is a realistic New Year’s resolution that I will actually keep?  On a hunt for resolution ideas, I surfed the web on my favorite sites – PCH Blog and PCH facebook page of course!

So many wonderful PCH sweepstakes fans share stories of their life and thoughts on an array of topics.  I hoped to stumble upon an idea from a fan’s comment…and I was right!  I received a response to my blog post asking the public if they had any questions about myself or the PCH online sweepstakes.  One question I received was if I kept a journal of my experiences on the road.  While I do write blogs for each PCH Prize Patrol I attend and share it with our fans, I do not keep a personal journal for myself!

So thank you PCH Blog followers! Because of you I have decided on my 2011 New Year’s resolution…keep a personal journal.  I always want to remember exactly what it feels like to deliver thousands, even millions of dollars to PCH online sweepstakes winners – that adrenalin rush standing at the door, waiting with TV cameras for that lucky sweepstakes winner to open the door and create that magical winning moment.  I want to keep track of every state and city I visit and note all the wonderful people I meet along the way.  I truly believe I have the most spectacularly unique job in the world and I don’t want to take one minute of it for granted or ever forget it.

Just like the PCH Blog  followers helped me discover my 2011 New Year’s resolution, let them help you too!  Check out this conversation thread from the PCH facebook page where fans shared their resolutions.

So now I open the floor to you…what is your New Year’s Resolution?  Is it to enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes as often as possible in hopes of winning that big check?  Personally, I think it should be!  There are so many different ways to enter the online sweepstakes…it’s easier than ever before.  People I meet are still amazed that you can enter and become a winner just by searching for anything you want at PCH Search & Win.  For those shoppers out there (yes, I’m one of those too), now you can even SHOP & Win! So if you’re having trouble thinking of a New Year’s resolution for 2011, try deciding to enter the PCH sweepstakes as often as possible – it’s a resolution that’s so easy to keep!  Happy New Year (a little late)!

Danielle Lam – PCH Prize Patrol

I have already made it my resolution to enter PCH sweepstakes as often as posible, but also like you, this endless winter shoveling & cold has played a part in flaring up my fibromyalgia…. so heating pads & bed rest have kept me off the computer at times..

Maybe Springtime will keep me better on track with my resolution..

Also I have made it a resolution to take my 2 dogs on 2 daily walks to keep both me & them fit… but alas.. Springtime will help me keep that one also!!! It has been too cold & snowy here to make it possible every day..

So now along with praying to win the BIG CHECK, I am praying for Spring’s arrival!!

I’m still entering for the superprize. Waiting for that knock at the door from the prize team. My daughter who has cancer is named Danielle also, so that is truly a beautiful name, Ms. Lam. I didn’t make any resolutions because I only want for my girls and I to live a healthy and prosperous life in an environment that is safe. The superprize would allow us to do that. After my heart attack in 2008 I had to retire from NYPD, so winning would not be a want but a need of financial stability. My apartment has been proven to have asbestos, but I cannot afford to move. Just praying that we can stay safe until that knock at the door. I dream and believe that the prize patrol team is real and they will give me a visit one day maybe hopefully soon. Thanking you again in advance.

HELP! My PCH emails stopped since last Saturday.
I followed the instructions from PCH services but still nothing. For now I send my entries everyday through PCH.com. or PCH TV.
My husband kept receiving his PCH emails though and has been returning entries offered.
Just wondering what caused mine to completely stop. I only receive PCH survey now.
Would love to start receiving mails from you again.:)

The IDEAL resolution that I would Like very much to make, is simply NOT a reality for me.

Hello Everyone. You may (or may not) have noticed that I haven’t checked in to respond to any blogs during the last few days.

MY New Years Resolution, or the one I would LOVE to IDEALLY Make is, NOT getting sick enough or injured badly enough to have to visit the hospital; for at LEAST ONE YEAR !!

I will have already broken this resolution by the time you read this AND I am scheduled for ANOTHER ANKLE surgery this coming Tuesday, February the 8th, 2011. Fortunaely this is a much less invasive sugical procedure, than the one before, therefore it will be done on an OUT-Patient Basis. You’veall heard of these types of surgeries, It is sort of like going through the DRIVE-THRU at the HOSPITAL, there long enough to be sedated, operated on, brought out of sedation and then Back Home.

I will have to stay off of my ankle completely for a couple of weeks, which of course means I will BE HOME, should the Prize Patrol Decide it would be an EXCLLENT IDEA to VISIT me here.

On Monday, I had a reaction to new medication that my Doctor prescribed. I used it for only TWO doses and my body said “ARE YOU KIDDING, I Don’t want to ingest this stuff”, and it let me know in no uncertain terms.

Therefor I have spent the last 4 1/2 days in the hospital, (Monday until today), recovering from, NOT an ILLNESS or even an INJURY, but a BLASTED Medication Reaction.

As if it were not bad enough that your body require so many meds to ATTEMPT to make you whole, but then the DARN STUFF that is supposed to make you ‘ALL BETTER’ turns on you too.

Oh Well, the positive; I am feeling like my usual self and not shaking so bad that I could NOT hold a glass of water, nor are my lips turning blue AND I can BREATHE. Sort of nice traits to have. I’ll have to come up with a different resolution for next year.

I do try to resolve to ENTER EVERY PCH SWEEPSTAKES OR GAME opportunity which is afforded me, but with my history of hospital stays and surgeries, I have already missed 5 days of entering this year. BUMMER.

Glad to see that you are better now & Good Luck with your surgery…

My next door neighbor broke her foot right before Christmas & had surgery with pins etc…

I know how she hated being house bound & also wheelchair bound for so long…

She just got the ok from her Dr. to start ventureing out again & although she has to do this slowly with all the snow & ice we have here lately she is grateful to be mobile again..

Good Luck & hope the surgery is a success..

It is now the night after the Super Bowl.. & I still hope you are doing fine.
My Fibromyalgia flare up has caused some difficulties in our house latley… as I have been in a fibro -fog moreso latley with all the added shoveling & PAIN added to my life.
When pain comes along you cannot think…that is when fibro fog comes into play..

We left tonight to go to a friend;s house for the super bowl…
I made some things on the stove before we left..

It was GOD’S GRACE & good fortune that we came home as early as we did.. since I THOUGHT i turned off the gas on the stove… ( but when you are in a fibro fog… you never know what you do)…

Hubby did not check behind me when we left & we got home with gas in the house to the point that we had to open up every window ..

Thank you God !!!! that the dogs & cat were alright..!!!!

I pray for you again with your operation & pray that Spring will bring an ease to my ailments as well.. as I am getting to an age that I have to find another way to tolerate this ailment that I have..

Sorry again Pch that i am communicating with one particular person..

But hope that this might encourage different types of communications with all that are loyal to PCH..

Each year is better than the year before. I don;t wait for the end of the year though to renew my resolution. Just like so many of you, life has been very difficult financially and it would be very overwhelming if I focus on it negatively. I make conscious effort each day to count special moment I experience personally or with loved ones that money cannot buy. It’s peace in the midst of the storm that we have for 2 yrs. now, though lacking with so much still we dream big dreams and we laugh and get thrilled with the prospects of tomorrow when around the bend someday soon… miracle, magic, or PCH comes rolling our way.ha!
Life is quite a challenge and short as well but, we can choose to enjoy the beauty and laugh at the funny in our journey through it. Miracle happens… PCH could be knocking at your door soon or mine.:)

???Rules Question???
I understand the rule “A limit of one online entry per day is allowed per individual and per e-mail address for each separate online promotion unless otherwise specified.” But what defines a “separate online promotion”? There are times when I input http://www.pch.com and I get a “Gold letter on Red background”, then there are times I get a “Gold letter on Blue background”. Would these be considered “separate online promotions”?
Also, when you send me an email presentation, is that also considered a “separate online promotion”?
Thank you,
Bob

I sometimes wonder why people like Mitt Romney (not picking on him particularly) does not bless others since he has been given the ability by God to earn that sort of money?????
