Predicting Oscar Winners is relatively easy, but predicting PCH Sweepstakes Winners is Impossible

The nominations for the Academy Awards have now been announced, and there’s plenty of speculation about who the big Oscar winners will be. So far “The King’s Speech” is generating the most Oscar buzz — as is its star Colin Firth for his performance. (You might enjoy re-reading the blog I wrote about this movie back in November. (Sweepstakes Prize Winner Dream — What Would Your Winning Moment be Like?)

Natalie Portman and Christian Bale seem to be the leading favorites for other acting honors. With so many critics predicting that certain performers are guaranteed shoo-in’s, there may not be much suspense left on award night, February 27th.

But plenty of suspense will remain a day later, February 28th, when the winner of what could be the biggest SuperPrize in Publishers Clearing House history is announced on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. NO ONE can predict who that winner will be. Chances are it will be an unknown person, an average man or woman who has never appeared in a movie or on TV’s “Entertainment Tonight.” The only thing I can guarantee is that the winner’s performance will be totally unrehearsed and it will include one supremely important act: he or she will have entered the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. It’s impossible to win unless you enter the sweepstakes!

If you win don’t worry about any fancy acceptance speech or who to thank or how you will be dressed or coiffed. Neither the PCH Prize Patrol nor the video camera cares what happens; we just want TV viewers to see that the winners are totally unprepared and the winning moments are absolutely unrehearsed – because that’s the way they are and always have been. You can see loads of them at and on You Tube.

I may not be an expert in predicting Oscar winners; but, there is one prediction I can definitely make, and that is this: A PCH SuperPrize can happily change your life. If you enter by the February 15 deadline you could win $1 Million A Year FOR LIFE! Talk about life-changing!

So ENTER the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes! Our rules allow you to enter every day – thereby giving you more chances to win.

On February 28th we might knock on your door and announce “You’ve won!”

Good luck!

Dave Sayer
