A Lucky Day For Douglas O’Shea

Lucky Day for $100,000 Tax Free Prize Winner

A double lucky day was in the making for unsuspecting Douglas O’Shea when the PCH Prize Patrol safely arrived in Minnesota the morning of April 30th, excited to deliver the $100,000 tax free prize to the lucky PCH Sweepstakes winner!   With a chill in the air and a heavy rain falling on the Prize Patrol van, Dave and I hoped the cash prize winner would be home.  Of course, neither of us remembered to pack an umbrella, but that didn’t stop us.  With balloons, flowers, champagne and Big Check in hand, we ran to the front door in the pouring rain…fingers crossed.

Since there were no lights on in the house, we had a feeling our knocks on the door would not be answered…unfortunately we were right.  So back into the Prize Patrol van we went – dripping hair, soggy flowers and a sadly damp Big Check.  We decided to sit in the car around the corner from the winners house and to see if any cars would arrive.  1 hour…nothing, 2 hours later…nothing.  We took a lunch break, drove around the beautiful town of Lake Elmo and even walked around an open house around the block….3 hours later…STILL nothing!

After 4 1/2 hours of waiting, could it really be?  YES!  Douglas O’Shea arrived home with his wife Andrea and two children to see the Prize Patrol carrying flowers, balloons, champagne and a Big Check for $100,000 tax free!  Douglas was shocked and extremely thankful for this new found fortune that was much needed after being unemployed for nearly 2 years.

But after that unfortunate run of bad luck, April 30th turned out to be quite a lucky day for Douglas O’Shea.  Not only did he just win $100,000 tax free from the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes, but he also won 2 prizes from a town festival!  You can watch the local cbs video of Douglas O’Shea’s winning moment by clicking here.

Douglas’ winning entry came from PCH Search and Win. Douglas said “I search online for things everyday so I figure why not do it on Search and Win?”….and just like that he won $100,000 tax free from  Publishers Clearing House!  You could have a “lucky day” too…but you have to enter the PCH Sweepstakes to win – or as I like to say, you have to be in it to win it!  Visit pch.com to enter today and the Prize Patrol could be knocking on your door next (or sitting around the block for a few hours!)
