Prize Winning Experience Continues for Minnesota Family

The experience of prize winning is such a thrill!  People always want to know whether we follow up with our Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes winners to see what happens after the prize winning moment.  The answer is YES.  Sometimes we are in contact by phone, sometimes by email.  Often we get a prompt thank-you note from the winner — just like we did from the O’Shea family of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, after dad Doug won $100,000 Tax Free from PCH Search and Win on April 30.

There’s a paragraph in the email from the O’Sheas that describes better than we can what it is like to be on the receiving end of a PCH Prize Patrol visit:

We appreciate the wonderful experience and the knowledge that we won’t have to worry as much about future bills.  We couldn’t have asked for a better gift.  We don’t know how to express the gratitude we feel toward you and the whole Publishers Clearing House family for the wonderful windfall.  This experience has been all positive —  not only the gift of money but the beauty we see in others as they express to us how they feel about our win.  Everyone has been happy and excited for us.  Everyone we talk to asks us how we did it since they have never known anyone personally who has won.  We [tell them] to sign on to PCH.com because we are proof positive wins like these do happen! PCH.com will most likely be getting quite a few more hits in the next few weeks from people we know.

You can also read more about the O’Sheas’ prize winning experience by clicking on this link to a report in the local newspaper:

http://www.stillwatergazette.com/articles/2011/05/04/lake_elmo/news/994sv_050411_pchwinners.txt

It was a thrill for Danielle Lam and me to visit this family and meet the neighbors who quickly gathered ’round to congratulate them.

The O’Sheas think that we Prize Patrol members have “the best job in the world.”  Yes, it is great – but what would make it the absolute BEST would be to pay a prize winning to visit all of you faithful PCH blog readers and present you with roses, balloons and a Big Check.

Well, it could happen; you could be a winner too!  But a prize winning moment will never happen unless you enter the PCH Sweepstakes!  A simple click here will get you started.

Good luck!

Dave Sayer

PCH Prize Patrol Ambassador

“I was trying not to cry,” said Andrea O’Shea. “We all were in stunned silence when we found out we won.”

I want to experience that feeling sooooo so badly.

I’m so glad the world didn’t end. I still have time to win.

I love reading about the winners so much fun it is to hear their side of the story~
Breann in the video was so very excited for her DAD~and fun to watch since her parents were so stun about their win, and she just rose to the situtation putting her inputs of what the win meant to the family!
In the article from Stillwater Gazette Breann said this: “I would like to do something really fun like go on a cruise or go to Disney..”
That is easy after researching things on PCHSearch & Win: “A DISNEY CRUISE!”
And Andrea said this about her husband: “He wants to build his own specialized bicycle. He likes antique Schwinn bicycles”
I hope Daniel gets this other wish about the bicycles..it is a shame that we are not giving people who work with hands more stable jobs and this would be perfect for him. CRAFTSMEN ARE SO TALENTED, we can not afford to lose everyone in those fields even though alot of them are out of work these days and frankly they ae the ones that keep me employed these days…
It is funny, I probably rode those NOW antiques Schwinn bikes when I was younger..
“HAVE A GREAT DAY everyone!”-*smile*

Hello Dave,
Again it is so good to see a winner that really needed this windfall…and also giving us all a boost to keep entering faithfully as I have done since your inception with my mom & now some 20 years on my own when I have had the opportunities in the mail but now focused on line.

Good Luck to all & I hope to someday see you at my door!!!!

Maureen

i wish the prize patrol would one day knock at my door with a 10 million dollar check and tell me that we won. I dont know what i would do! I wonder if they the prize patrol ever awarded more than 2 or 3 prizes to the same family? How luckey would that family be? I do wish that one day it would be me and my 4. I dont know I never heard of them making deliveries to neighbor hoods like mines; I know if I was them I probably wouldn’t want to go either. But, my kids and I still try to have a little faith cause you never know! TODAY MAY BE THE DAY!

Its good to hear stories like this. Makes me feel good to know people are winning in my state. I found this by google”ing” people from Minnesota who win pch…. funny thing I’ve been playing since I was 18 am 23 now I’m glad someone is winning but I’m sure about the odds got to be slim to none. I’m sure its an absolute thrill however for those who have won. :-)
