Publishers Clearing House: Numbers You Can Count On!

Publishers Clearing House has numbers you can count on! One, two, three…that’s nothing compared to the types of numbers we’re talking about. Really BIG numbers, that’s what we like. How about 500, 1000, 5000? Not big enough, you say? Well, what about 10,000? Now, what if we threw 1,000,000 or 10,000,000 into the mix? Those are some mighty huge numbers! What’s even better is that they represent dollar amounts of money that Publishers Clearing House has awarded to sweepstakes and contest winners over the years! To be exact, over $226 million dollars, since 1967, has been awarded. Now that’s some whopping huge numbers for you!

Numbers, numbers, numbers…hmmm…got me thinking…so I did a little internet searching about numbers – using PCHSearch&Win, of course. (That’s http://search.pch.com/ where you could win prizes instantly simply for searching.) Lo and behold…I found some information about numbers right on one of our PCH sites. PCHlotto has a section called “By the Numbers” with “Fun Facts About Numbers.” I read a lot of interesting and fun number facts I never knew. So, I thought I would take this opportunity to share a few with you.

Number 4:   We all know the word “four” has four letters. But, did you know in the English language, 4 is the only number whose number of letters is equal to its value?

Number 41:  For all you Beatlemaniacs out there – Did you know that in The Beatles number 1 hit song, “Let It Be,” Paul McCartney sings that same phrase 41 times? Don’t believe us? Count for yourself. If we’re wrong, let us know.

Number 29:  The human skull has 29 bones. Who knew? Did you? It’s also a prime number, which means it’s only divisible by itself and 1. But, don’t ask me what a prime number means – I’m only writing fun facts here…Ha! Ha!

Number 33:  Here are a few interesting tidbits… British people eat 33 million turkeys each year, 33% of the Earth’s surface is desert, Ground Hog Day occurs on the 33rd day of the year and, for all you baseball aficionados, the longest baseball game lasted 33 innings! Wow! And, it took two days! Do you know what teams played or when it happened? Let us know – I’d like to know, too! Leave your response in the comment section below. Hint: Use search.pch.com to find out the answer to this question, or any question you may have – you could even win a prize instantly!

You can read more Fun Facts About Numbers on PCHlotto.com. While you’re there, make sure to play a few cards. All you have to do is pick some numbers, or we could do it for you with a quick pick. After you play all your lotto cards, you could get an instant cash prize with our scratch card! And, some of them are really huge numbers!

Don’t forget to leave your comments below and stop by our Fan page on Facebook. We want to hear from you!

Here’s to counting … some winning cash!

Numbers played a role in our lives since the beginning of Time! The Name Numerology is your Astrological Number Associated with your name all the letters in your name are writing in the Heavens and the Stars So if you or i would have won the lottery by a chance. or a PCH Sweepstakes, for that rather. Astrology, and Numerology, predictions have played a Lucky Chance of this being the Case. so never mind who’s lucky enough to win but who’s Lucky enough to be chosen by the Stars and the Heavens.

    Hi Pamela,

Our websites require Adobe Flash Player to function properly, so if your phone does not have Adobe Flash Player, you may not be able to use our websites. However, we have mobile versions of PCH.com and PCH Search & Win which you may be able to use. The mobile version of PCH.com can be found at http://www.pch.com/mobile and for the mobile PCH Search & Win, please visit http://search.pch.com/?view=mobile

As another suggestion, if you are using a cell phone to enter, you can also simply call our toll-free number to enter. To do this, just call us toll-free at 1-800-645-9242 to use our automated phone service anytime. After our opening message, follow the appropriate prompts. You will be asked to enter your 11-digit Customer Identification number to enter the sweepstakes. Your Customer ID can be found on your order acknowledgements and invoices from PCH.

Best of luck in our giveaways!

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering what kind of prizes does the Fast 50 get, what range? Example: $500-1,000? Also, I was told that severl 100 people get them and only 50 are chosen? Is that true?

[REPLY TO THIS POST]
    Victoria At PCH said...

    Hello D. Clark,

The Fast 50 is 50 prizes of $50.00. The winners are selected in geographic proportion to mail distribution. You are correct that only 50 winners will be chosen.

    Good luck to all!

    Hi Shemikca,

When you exchange your tokens for gift card entries on PCHgames, you are not purchasing those gift cards. You are entering for a chance to win them. Could this be what you’re referring to?

I am having trouble with your games, search and other things. I get kicked out of the games, search just when I am at the end of the games. I fell that those games were not counted for. I also get e-mail from PCH tell me I am going to loss everything if I don’t play the games or do my search. I have done what thy ask but still get these messages which make me nervous that all I put in will be all taken from me. I will be in touch with consumer people and tell them what has been happening to. I hope to get a response ASAP Thank You Barbara Hillyer.
