So many people in this country have a custom of eating black-eyed peas on New Years Day. My hubby included. I don’t like black-eyed peas, but I’ll make them for him.

I think my big dog thinks he has a blessed day today, because I gave him the ham bone today from our Christmas meal. He’s still outside gnawing on it. He’s laying in the snow munching, even though I had laid it on the cleared off patio for him. Ahh well, he’s a breed of dog that likes the snow, so I bet he doesn’t even notice it. He’ll come in later to warm up I’m sure, but right now he’s not ready to leave his yummy snack.
