My Luckiest Day Of The Year! Could It Also Be Yours?

Valentine’s Day is definitely the luckiest day on the calendar for me. Not that I’ve always been lucky in love. In fact, quite the opposite! But on Valentine’s Day 2004, I became a giant jackpot winner for life. That’s the day I married my best friend and the coolest guy I have ever known. But it’s not just the getting hitched part that was lucky!

Valentine’s Day, as we all well know, is in February. And we live in New York. So planning a wedding in the dead of winter in the Northeast is a pretty risky gamble to say the least, as you can well imagine. My mother was totally freaked out. “There will be a blizzard! The Canadian relatives will never make it! We’ll all freeze to death!

I was pretty sure that even if the temp hit zero we’d all survive–especially the Canadians! And I had faith somehow that it wouldn’t snow. But as we got closer to the big day, daily temperatures were hitting record lows. Twenty degrees one day, fifteen the next. The day before the wedding, it was a frigid ten degrees–and that was the HIGH! But I somehow knew it would be okay. I already felt pretty lucky that Valentine’s Day had fallen on a Saturday this year,  and  I was sure that luck would carry us. And, as LUCK had it, I was right. Do you know it soared all the way up to fifty-five degrees that Valentine’s Day?! And not a snowflake in sight. And all Canadians were present and accounted for!

My husband and I were also lucky enough to get married in New York City’s world famous St. Patrick’s Cathedral. I have to say, nothing has ever made me feel more like a million bucks like gliding down that enormous aisle in my gown, my new husband on my arm, and throngs of people crowding the sidewalk as we exited the cathedral, wanting to get a look at the “celebrities” (LOL!) able to wed in such a grand way on such a romantic day… And now you know why Valentine’s Day is my luckiest day of the year!

Much LOVE and LUCK to you and yours this Valentine’s Day!

For myself, I used to have a wonderful luckiest for my first love than I though, it could be a perfect couple! Unfortunately, my first one was my last one too! I had a long sad story and also in 1999 I had an unbelievable amazing love story. Even if we live in the different world but our emotion felt like stay close together(still bloom in my mind )forever!
Currently, I’ve had blinded love. I am so poor to fine a sweet smile lover. Only a few famous who has beautiful smiling face to meet me in front of my door with floral and a special prizes who would help me to clean up all bad luck away from my life!
I congrats to all people who has wonderful love in this Valentine day and would be going smooth together for ever!!!

We launched the Honor Society way back in 1997… so long ago, the founders of Facebook might not even have been born yet. All we know is that we had one hundred members way before Facebook ever did. But it wasn’t until Leap Year 2012 that we were capable of showing pictures next to profiles — and that apparently is the difference — facebook has almost a billion members, and the Honor Society has almost ten thousand… but we have boasting rights to being a very exclusive group. If you like to mingle — go for it — like us! and mingle with us on our facebook page. You can also find us on twitter, though we’re still absolute newbies about this tweeting thing…Miguel Leon Valle….pch hope i win!!!

I love your Valentine’s Day wedding story too… It is so very romantic! It sounds like every thing fell right into place for you both that fine Valentine’s Day! Well all I can say is take one day at a time and don’t take each other for granted. My husband and I have been married for 19 years this June. We have had our ups and downs just like the next couple, but we are very happy and still very much in love.

Valentine’s Day is very special for me to, our first Valentine’s Day we spent together and I saw this white teddy bear with a heart necklace on it and it said “I love you this much” and the teddy bear looked like it was going to give you a big hug. Well I did not get it on Valentine’s Day, he went back to the store on were we had seen it and it was gone, so he started to look all over for it on the Island and he found it (that made me so happy) and he gave it to me a few days later and we celebrated Valentine’s Day all over again. I still have that white teddy bear and that was back on February 15, 1994. I love that teddy bear but not as much as I love my husband of course!

Just wanted to wish you a very Happy Happy Valentine’s Day & Happy 8th Anniversary! I love your story it is so very romantic!

P.S. My husband kinda looked like the teddy bear. I think that is why I liked it so very much. LOL!

Happy Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

Today, on the PCH Games homepage (which is from where I visit this blog), the link for “scoring 1,000 tokens upon visiting pch.com” is not working! I always use that link to visit the pch facebook fan page, but now that this link is changed, there is nothing happening when I click on it. The link just beneath this one (for the pch survey) automatically pops up as it always has when clicked on.

I just thought I’d shoot that out there to someone who’d read this.

Thanks and God bless.

Yours sounds like a fairy tale wedding.
I hope this February 29th, 2012 will be a fairy tale like day for me too, with PCH awarding the million dollars a year for life prize to me.
We’ll just have to wait and see if I have a fairy tale day or just another garbage pickup day. LOL. Just kidding.
