Behind The Scenes At PCH: Spotlight On Michael Collins

A “Big Check” from Publishers Clearing House ― there’s nothing better, right? Well, almost…. even more exciting are the real checks that Big Winners can cash at the bank!

Today I’d like to introduce you to a very important person here at PCH: Michael Collins, Assistant VP & Controller, who helps us get those real checks ready for our winners.

Michael and the finance department work very closely with the sweepstakes administration and promotional development departments, so they’re always aware of all the new prizes being offered by Publishers Clearing House and ready to issue live checks once the lucky winners have been selected.

I asked Michael how he feels about being so directly involved in payouts that really help people and change lives.  Says Michael, “Although it is not my signature that appears on the ‘Big Check‘ that we use for promotional purposes, it is my signature that frequently appears on the real checks that go to our winners.  It is a very good feeling to know that I am a part of the PCH winning experience.”

However, there’s a lot more to Michael’s job than issuing checks! As the person responsible for the operation of the Publishers Clearing House finance department, Michael is involved in every area of finance for the company including accounting, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, payroll and internal audit, as well as the day-to-day transactions.  Whew! I’m tired just listing them all!

But, Michael loves being involved in all the different aspects of finance at PCH. He says, “The best part of my job is the wide range of areas within the finance function and the people with whom I have the opportunity to work with on a daily basis throughout the company.”

Of course, Michael will never write one of those checks with his own name on it since employees are not eligible to win. But if he could become a SuperPrize winner, he says that he’d take a vacation with his family, pay off some bills and save money for his children’s education.

I hope you enjoyed learning about Michael Collins, the man behind the “real checks.” I know I did! Rest assured, dear blog readers, if you win a Big Publishers Clearing House Prize, Michael and his team will make sure your check is ready ― and you can take that to the bank!
Have a great day!

    Happy New Year.

Please, please, please, please pick me. I’ve been playing and believing for years now. No matter how many people tell me it’s a scam, I continue to believe that when the Prize payments begin in just a few weeks on February 26th, 2016, that I will be selected as the positive winner – identification of a lifetime winner by the Department of Finance, Controller, Michael Collins.

I am looking forward to being issued the first $5,OOO.OO prize check, that check and $5,OOO.OO checks for the rest of my long life. I can see it now, opening my door to find the PCH crew smiling at me with balloons in hand. I envision seeing those checks made out in my name, Sarah Lawson, as PCH’s way of saying thank you Sarah for consistently searching to keep from being forfeited from this opportunity and for believing it could happen for you. I would LOVE to be the first in my family’s history to create a lasting legacy for the Lawson family. Michael Collins, I sincerely believe that I will be the next prize winner and the prize control will be pulling up to my house on 02/26/2016. I have faith that this will happen for me, my family, my friends and those around me who will also benefit from my blessing!

I recently lost my job (again) due to a company merger (again) which eliminated my position (again). Just when I think I’m about to catch up from the previous lay-off, here comes another one and it throws me behind again. In addition, my husband abandoned me. June 1st will be 6 years since he left, taking his income with him – during yet another job lay-off for me on the exact same day that he left. Since then my property taxes have become delinquent, leaving me faced with the threat of losing my home if I don’t redeem my taxes in February – a home my children and I helped to build through Habitat for Humanity.

My childrens’ father died from stage 4 cancer at the beginning of January, one of my sisters’ house had an electrical fire inside the walls and she was extremely blessed to get out before the fire got worse. I just went to my aunt’s funeral last night who died from stage 4 cancer, and one of my sisters was diagnosed with breast cancer. I would LOVE to be able to contribute to finding a cure for that MONSTER KILLER-cancer and winning the super prize would help me to do that.

I know that there are people with worse situations than mine, but winning this super prize will be the rainbow I need after some heavy, troubling and constant rain storms in my life and in the lives of my children. Also, It would be GREAT to have the comfort of knowing I don’t EVER have to worry again about being told, “Sarah, we’re eliminating your position”, or of experiencing the foundation shaking and financially disrupting sound of hearing another company release me from a position that I love and enjoy after I have worked diligently, faithfully, responsively and positively to help make the team successful. What a great day that will be! Please pick me.

I also have been playing faithfully since about July 2015 and I have over 8 million in tokens and also haven’t won on the token board but I have won $5.00 for Amazon and a $10.00 cash just the other day. When I won those you would have thought that I did win the big one. I woke up every person that has called PHC a scam and gave them the news. Imagine getting a call at 3:30 A.M. just to be told I won a little. Made my day. In your face negative people. I have purchased several items and have been very happy with them. I did not buy to increase my chances of winning I just liked the items and felt the price was great plus you can pay in installments or in full great option for a old lady like me. I can always dream about the big one. Who knows someday the prize van may just be rolling in my drive. I just hope I am not in the mortuary awaiting my burial. Having a ball playing!! Sorry Ohio lotto for your loss in revenue. I play PHC and it doesn’t cost me a thing and I have won a hell of a lot more than the OHIO lotto. Keep on playing and have faith. There is a famous saying that everyone should adhere to : Thy will be done. If it is suppose to be your time you will win. May it be big, may it be small, be grateful for all. JUST HAVE FUN AND TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN!!!!
