If I Had The Money…

People are always saying, “If I had the money, I would do this…and that…and all this!” Well guess what? The big $5,000 A Week For Life SuperPrize event is just around the corner, which means one lucky person WILL have the money to do everything they’ve always wanted to do. And that person could be YOU!

That’s right! The Millionaire-Making Publishers Clearing House SuperPrize will definitely be awarded on May 31st. It’s only DAYS AWAY, so don’t miss your chance to WIN BIG and have this life-changing dream come true! Enter now at pch.com or PCHSearch&Win!

You’re lucky! YOU can win BIG from Publishers Clearing House. As an employee, I’m not allowed to win the Big Check from the Prize Patrol. But I can dream about it. And like you, I do…

If I had the money….

Like many people, I would buy my dream house, pay bills and take care of my family. My dream home would be on the east coast by the beach. The inside would be spacious and inviting. Its landscape would include big shady trees, lush hydrangeas, roses and purple campanulas. Of course, I’d take care of debts and throw some payback Mom’s way so she could retire in style, plus a college fund for the niece and nephew. Then, I’d invest, take classes and give money to family and friends in need as well as my favorite charities and my church. Volunteer work with children is also on the list. Before returning to work part-time, I’d do the things I never find time for like visiting out-of-town friends, seeing the cherry blossoms in DC, the Fall foliage of New Hampshire or the latest plays on Broadway. Maybe I’d get a classic Mustang, too.

WOW! I sure have a lot of plans for that Big Check, don’t I? How about you? While daydreaming about what I would do if I won the money, it struck me: we ALL want a nice place to call home, good health and happiness for ourselves and our loved ones, plus financial security, too. But exactly how that $5,000 A Week For Life Big Check from PCH would be spent is where things get really interesting!

Ask yourself: “If I had the money, what would I do?”

Would your dream house be at the beach or maybe in the mountains? Would you put yourself behind the wheel of a Mustang or perhaps a Porsche? Any other big splurges? Maybe if you WIN BIG, you’d work on your bowling game – - by buying your own alley! Perhaps you would use your Big Check to embark on something really out-of-this-world – - like blasting off into outer space on one of the upcoming commercial Virgin Galactic spaceflights for the public!

Let’s hear it! Do you have humble goals, rock-star dreams or both? Just for fun, go to our comments section and finish this thought: If I had the money….

Good luck!

I used to think about the time wanted to be come soon but you reminded us “there are only 8 DAYS LEFT” it made me feel nervous.

If I won the money, I’d have several plans to achieve my goals!
I’d be pay off my mortgage, buy car, van and truck for my family, plus a college fund for my children, buy more house, take 13 children including niece and nephew to vacations. My favorite part is to donate some money to elderly and people disability, and finally I’d be my own boss! :)

That all I dream with $5,000.00 Money A Week For Life!

I praying and enter every single day, would hope my dream will come true!!!

~ If I had the money, I am not sure if I would move away because I waited many years to have a house to call a home of my own ~ but I would make a lot of improvements to it and do a lot of landscaping! I really want to buy carpet and new pews for the church I am attending. My hearts’s desire is to give my son something that will help him and give him encouragement so he and his wife and little boy can reunite! He is living in a men’s home. I would pay for the proper counseling to help them climb their mountain! I also want to pay for plastic surgery on his left hand that got blown up while target shooting when a ‘black powder rifle’ exploded in his hand. I would help my oldest daughter start her own little business. She has worked all her life since she was 14 (she insisted) and I let her so she could have some money for herself! ~ and I would pay off medical bills that my other daughter and husband have due to my grandson’s past illness. Raising my three children was very hard ~ they got my love but also my stress and I never was able to give them much -at all- in material things. We moved so many times, they were never settled and life was hard til my life changed and I got hope and faith… then I was able to cope and be more stable. No, I was not a ‘single mom’.. I was married but I do not talk about their father/step-father. I don’t know how I managed to stay with him 30 yrs but that is over with. I enter PCH faithfully and want to win – mainly for my kids and their kids! They deserve more than they have ever received and I want to give it to them. As for me, sure I want to know what it is like to travel a little and buy nice quality things… get pampered some. I also want to help other family members and I will not forget the people that helped me when I had no car or food and we were homeless for 3 1/2 months in 1991! I have been through many hard times, but God has carried me when I’ve had no strength.. New truck for my hubby, Rod: New car for my son (doesn’t have one) pay off the girls vehicles… and just try to make life easier for people that I know are hurting. There are also charities to consider and choices to make on which ones to bless but for sure “Feed The Children” would be one of them! I am emotional this Mother’s Day… you asked the question.. you’ve heard my heart.. :) So that is part of what I would do “If I had the money.”

I really would like to pay off all my bills and also my brothers, sisters and moms. My dad built the house my mom lives in. I really want to pay it off and finish it the way my dad wanted to before he passed away. That way mom would never have to worry about bills or house payment and she could just enjoy her house they way they intended. Then I would build a garage for mom and have the yard landscaped. After all that I would find land on a lake someplace and build my cabin. I really don’t have plans to travel to other countries like other people because I think that there are so many beautiful places in this country I want to see first. I would also donate to cancer and diabetes research and also help with the animal shelter where I got my cat from.

I don’t have special plans for the money, mostly paying back those I feel I owe for their kindness.

(However, I would love the fun of being able to go back into a couple of high-end stores that I window shopped at recently. It would give me such joy to revisit those stores and buy whatever I wanted.) ^_^

When I WIN the SuperPrize the first thing I will do with the money is get costly life-saving IV infusions so that I don’t suffer an untimely death as my health insurance refuses to pay for the medical treatment and also I would stop the foreclosure that was recently filed upon my elderly blind father’s home that should have been modified by the current bank instead of the high risk pick-a-pay loan that was provided to him that caused the original bank to be shut down by the fed’s so I would pay a lawyer to modify rather than have the bank not follow the federal HAMP, Pick-A-Pay and Attorney General Guidelines giving people the run around that lack lawyers & I would upgrade my fathers home which is our family home! That would be my urgent priorites just for starters! Once I get a grip on the above then, I would buy myself my own dream home, obtain health insurance for my daughter and help her pay for medical schooling! I would expand my business of which I represent recording artist to pay for radio promotion that would chart the artist on radio that would cause millions of CD’s to be sold worldwide! As the old saying goes… it takes money to make money! With my new found blessings after my business takes off like a rock & roll rocket I would start a foundation for people that suffer from chronic malabsorption which is injury to the G.I. tract like I have where people cannot absorb nutrients by eating and drinking so they too can afford costly life-saving IV infusions and so much more… I will need a vacation after winning as a stress reliever…and, when I Win the SuperPrize I can’t wait to tell the whole world how… PCH SAVED MY LIFE! For real… literally! Thank you PCH for giving all of us the opportunity to WIN! God bless all of you!

Start college fund for all FOUR of our kids. Then, I would have some of my family go through Dave Ramsey courses. The class are really funny and are jam packed full of GOOD money advice. (I still can’t believe that credit is made it out to be a good thing.) Its really shocking. ~ That way i would ensure that my family would NEVER struggle again!!! Pay my husbands farm and in-laws farm debts. I would help my husbands parents retire. I would pay off my dads debt and then have him go through physical therapy. His body is so torn up from the double shifts that he did for waaaaaaaaaay too many years. . MOVE AWAY from here!!! FAR Away!!!!!! I would want to send my sister and brother through college. I wonder what their dream jobs would be? I would give money to the breast cancer foundation. My grandmother passed away from the cancer… I would also give money to help fund research for the Factor five blood disorder. My mother and her mother passed away from blood clots that went through their systems. I would go through some cooking course. My cooking is horrible. I just would like to see my family happy!!!!!! THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO PCH!!!!! I enjoy ever article!!!!

I love traveling and I’d just love to be able to continue traveling whenever I wanted to.

Very nice article… Kate M. I starting thinking about all the stuff that I would want to do and probably will do… however, reality check hit me… and, I got to thinking about… keepin’ it real… I think wisdom/knowledge/understanding what I have (if I win) is the first step…I mean…it’s all exciting to splurg and stuff but, I would make some investments, find out financial options that would help me out in the long run… help charities and family/others in need… maybe open up a couple of businesses for making jobs possible here in AMERICA (I lost my job; due to downsizing and have been out for 2-years)…so, I’d really take a long hard look and the reality picture before I really spend on myself! Hope to see ya PCH-Prize Patrol on May 31st! Keeping my hopes alive! Thanks and have a great week!

Thanks’, Kate M., PCH Creative for the inspiring letter about DREAMING BIG, I loved it!!!!

“If I had the money, what would I do?”… Well, I just wanted to start off saying that I do a lot of day dreaming about winning the “$5,000 A Week For Life” and if I had that money this is what I would do with it…I to would buy my dream summer house, payoff all the bills and take care of my family…Family is every thing, I am sure you would agree. I think that is what PCH is all about, to help our families and our communities. I love watching on TV or the Internet who has one the big jackpot from PCH! I am so very happy for these people that win and I do hope and pray that one day my dreams might come true and it might be me!

The house I dream of is on the beach where I grew up, but the house I live in needs a lot of TLC right now, so I would give it a total makeover. I have been worrying about my parents; so I would make sure that someone was hired to help them. Actually, I have a very long list of things to do with the money; help my son’s school by donating imac computers and iPods and see if I could have a scholarship program for my son’s school. I would start a college fund for my son (education is everything). Also purchase some new cars for my family; we all need new cars at this point in our lives. I love the new cars that are always showing on the PCH websites. I am sure we would travel to see friends and relatives. Most of all, I really would love for my husband to retire early and I keep my part-time job that I just started. I am hoping we do all these things slowly and I hope we would look into investing some of the money too.

It might seem that I am not dreaming big enough, but I really do not want to dream to big because I do not want it to be gone in two seconds, I want it to last for the future, so I just want to take baby steps and do one thing at a time and have the rest of the money in the bank, that way my family and I will feel secure about winning the big “$5,000 A Week For Life.” And isn’t feeling secure in life, the best part of winning from PCH!!!!

That is all I can dream of, for now, besides entering every day at PCH where “The House Where Dreams Come True,” and I hope my dreams come true on May 31st, 2012!!!

P.S. I will always want to wish every one the BEST OF LUCK entering PCH!!!! It is a lot of fun and I love the PCH family too!!!!

It was not all that long ago that I nearly died, and the resulting medical bills drained my bank accounts. I have since fought my way back to being in a position where I just purchased my first home. Now, I find that I am actually pretty happy with my life. If I won the money, I would pay off my new mortgage, and buy some new furniture to replace the mismatched hand-me-downs I’m living with. I would also help my mom pay to have her house redecorated, to repay her for allowing me to come back home when I couldn’t afford to be anywhere else. I would probably take a much needed vacation (I can’t even remember the last time I had a real one) with some friends and family, and I would definitely save and invest a lot, in order to make sure that I never had to worry about having that same desolate feeling again. I would also love to find some way to help other people who find themselves in the same position that I once was.

Money for taxes first, then money to my church. I would love to help some others who i have seen struggle in life to. Of coarse my kids. Then O would come back and get out of the current work I do & start my own business, put some of the money away for a rainy day, pay off the things I have outstanding at the moment, move my parents into a new house here where I live, pay off their outstanding debts and maybe get a new car for myself. I am just not sure that the dollar goes that far nowadays after the taxes and such so maybe just getting my own business and using that income to try and attain the rest.

I am Muliyani Made with initial MM Giveaway 1830 now comment on this occasion, if I have money plenty of things to do especially in a family. I come from a family with a simple life of many of its shortcomings. Especially the way my personal life is always a conflict between the conditions and situations. So first wanted to resolve the condition and status is still pending for personal happiness. Both the family and the environment of a village and small town needs most are less than adequate. So both families and the environment need to be helped so that both the housing, finance and also the future of younger generations need to be helped. In addition, for the future I need to have their own home so they can indulge as much as possible. Of education would I just need to increase through the cooperation of all parties in the association, whether business, social, etc. I’ve graduated high school, although the expression is still lacking. Understandably since childhood I have not been able to heal properly. Always a conflict between the conditions and situations. Thus in general I have to say, could further be delivered when the time comes. Thank you.

If I won the money I would FAINT!:) I think i may have answered this question 10 times already but just for fun i will again….. I would do lots and lots of good for lots and lots of people LITERALLY. Helping others really gives me as sense of self pride and people respect you for it. My main goal is to help all, of who I know needs it and them some. I dont want anything in return. Of course I would buy a dress or two to match my new status but it wouldn’t cost much. At this point it’s been about 2yrs since i’ve bought a new dress that i really liked and not because it was affordable. I would be the last to enjoy my money because it would come in every week. I live this way now my child and household always come first. While I am helping others I would save for my goals, PAY BILLS. Most people do not have the capability to save anything due to the economy so this is a plus. I would make sure I could help everyone significantly before I buy MY FIRST new home! I guarantee alot of lives would be touched if I won! I would probably right a book about IT. I have an intersting story to tell and this would be the best ending! Good luck pch fans indluding me <3 To pch thanks for the oppurtunities and for keeping me entertained daily! MAY 31ST. LESS THAN A WEEK TO ENTER GOD PLEASE HELP ME

Ahh to have those kind of winnings is a dream in its self. if I were to win, I would pay off our mortgage, bills and the usual breathing space we all hope for. Then after I had the chance to have time to landscape all the things I would want to do for my home then I would look into opening my own business for women’s health. I would have a full scale breast cancer screening facility. I would incorporate a guidance and reference center for people to have a better understanding of the health information they may have been given or better understanding of their insurance and what their policies cover or do not cover. More of a one on one guidance where people do not get ripped off or lied to regarding their health care or where they can get help. What steps they need to take regarding diagnoses. To help people in their time of not knowing what step to take next would be so rewarding to me. This would be a dream job for me and to be able to do all that with no worries of my own debt ??? to put 100% time a effort to helping others is just who I am. Thank you and hope is sometimes all we have

I would create a better me. I would move sooo far away from alllll of the mean people who surround me. I probably wouldn’t as depressed as I am. I feel pretty much worthless everyday. I would buy artificial inseemination, so that my fiance & I could be able to have a family. I am 33 & she is 26 & we’ve been together for 8 years now & she is always talking about having a child, wanting to start a family. I feel awful because I don’t reproduce & I will never be able to make her 100% complete. Other than that, I would learn to take life more gentle & I would feel @ peace with my surroundings. I have lived a very hard life & not everything that was thrown into my way had a hurdle, a path nor a choice. Sometimes life does that to us & some people are more fortunate than ohers. I would go to multiple diffrent surgeons for personal things. I would try to go through college for marine biology or psychology…I want to be a drug counselor the most though. I would by a nedium size beach home in my area, with a couple if acres. IDK…what else? I just want to feel happy & alive & $ most certainly does make the world go round. I have had nothing all of my 33 years. I feel like an 80year old man living inside of a younger body. I’m just tired & run down & I believe that I deserve one chance to shine.

My plan is to remodel my house so that I can move my mother in with me, help my sister pay bills (my brother-in-law has cancer and he wont be able to work for another year or so), pay off debt, and buy a franchise and hire people to run it.

If I win, I would buy a house and take my husband out of the care center he is in. Get a lift van and a electric W/C Help my grand kids and our girls. Then Take my husband on a cruise to the Bahamas. Then when we got back we would get a dog like Dave’s and be happy to be able to live together again and have help to take care of him. I Believe in PCH, your #1 in my Book. :)

Now that I’ve been informed that my financial situation is not as sure, I could certainly use the $5G/wk to help maintain the family home (or build a new one) and keep up with all other expenses. That would ease my mind considerably. But, since the odds are not in my favor, I do hope to find the best way to strengthen my position with the good Lord’s help. It’s all good.<3

If I were to win the $5,000.00 a week for life, I would be the most excited person EVER!! I would help my parents and sister – at the same time try to pay off my student loans, and remaining debt. Next- finally buy a car that I could rely on, and move to a different part of the United States – I have always wanted to see the Central and Western part of the US. Then save up enough money till I could get my dream home built with a swimming pool. :-) (I have always wondered what it would feel like to have your own pool.) It would be AMAZING to receive the money, and have a job that I wouldn’t have to constantly worry about losing . . . because of the economy or because you made someone mad over something stupid. Somewhere in the midst of it all, I would have to donate to good causes and/or charities.

If I were to receive $5,000.00 a week…OMG! That is more money than I have ever made! I think the word “work” would become a foreign concept to me (I am sure it would for my sister as well haha – she is always saying how she would like to live life away – not work it away (I definitely agree!)). I would love to adopt some children, and live in a beautiful house in the Caribbean. I would donate to some charities, and help out my family.

-deposit check and wait for it to clear.

-find a new residence.
-pay off taxes and debts.
- speak with lawyer, tax expert, financial advisor, accountant invest plenty of money and draw up will and testament.
-take the people who only come around for money out of my life.

If I had the good fortune to win, I would be able to pay to have the breast cancer reconstruction post breast cancer completed. I would pay our home off before they foreclose on us -which is eminent. I would take care of my father so that he could enjoy the time he has left as he fights so many ailments that are all battling to to take him too soon. I would start a charity for those diagnosed with cancer and either have no insurance or cannot afford their deductibles. There are NO organizations that help those of us battling cancer with financial assistance for rent/mortgage payments, food or utilities.
And…if its possible to buy happiness, I would for myself, husband, relatives and friends.

Yf I had the money. My mom and me want to get our very own homes close together, with enough property so’s we can get some greenhouse’s and start to grow our own veggies and fruits. What is not eaten or is to much of we want to donate to like a soup kitchen or anywhere produce will be used. Helping to fill someone else’s belly. Has a very good feeling knowing someone else will not go hungry. That’s what I would do with the money.

At the age of 65 , I do not have many wishes. Maybe sell my house and move in a condo near a retirement center. I would set up funds for college for my grandchildren. Can not travel because I care for my parents but I could hire a nurse to care for them and give me free time every now and then. Most of all I would like to hand out money to families that are struggling with hard times. I often help pay for people after me in line . It would give me great pleasure just to surprise people and tell them to pay it forward.
My son- in- law is just returning to United after being laid off for a long time. They could have used the extra help while my daughter providied the family income when he ran out of unemployment . There are plenty of people like them that could use help every now and then! God has Blessed our family where we no longer have to struggle from paycheck to paycheck like we did when we were young. I am satisfied with what I have at this point. I am sure I could he
P others as well as making life a little more comfortable for my family if I won a large sum of money

If I won the Mega Bucks Sweepstakes of $1 million plus $5000 for life: I would be able to tun my water back on; I’d call the creditors and pay all my bills and whatever fees that was added on. get my roofing done. get needed repairs done. get advise from a financial consultant. get better medical, dental, vision for both my parents who are on medicaid and barely making it themselves, and of course take the whole family on a well needed vacation- its been a tuff couple of years! God Bless Us All!!!

It would be nice….to win something for once…to be given a second chance at making my daughters life better since I’m a full time single father of two daughters on a fixed income…I already give them everything I can..but it would be nice to not be broke by the second week of the month every month…plus I’d love to see their little eyes lit up when they come down and see a full Christmas tree with presents under there for just one Christmas for once…and my daughters wanna get out of this bad neighborhood in low income housing…I just bought my 4yr old a new bike for her birthday on October 16th and it’s already been stolen and it’s not even her birthday till tomorrow..so getting an actual apartment would be nice also…it really would be wonderful actually.

You keep saying you’ll be heading to Boise, Idaho to give the Big Money away to someone in my area. It might sound corny, but I hope you do–even if I’m not the winner. Really, I do mean it. If you’ve never been to Boise I’d love to show you around. Our city is small in comparison to many others, but we have mountains to ski on, hiking, bicycling, swimming indoors and out and so many great opportunities for fun and enjoyment. The city itself is growing with new buildings, lots of beautiful trees, four seasons to enjoy during the year and the people who live here are for the most part, generous and kind. Sadly we’re still struggling with education issues but we have terrific teachers and unfortunately, like many places, we have a rather high rate of unemployment right now. I’ve heard that winning huge amounts of money can bring more problems with it than someone would expect and I can see why that would happen. I hope whoever wins will use it to help make Boise an even nicer place to live.
