For the first time ever, Publishers Clearing House offered a contest where a lucky PCH Fan could win tickets to Atlanta to see the Prize Patrol on the game show Family Feud! Do YOU like the idea of this kind of new contest? Well our winner Danny Howell and his guest Brian sure did!
I personally was SO excited about this new contest. Not only did I have the opportunity to meet one of our Publishers Clearing House fans, but that fan had the chance to get a behind the scenes look at one of my favorite shows, Family Feud! Danny and his brother-in-law drove to Atlanta from Hoover, Alabama on June 7th. As part of the prize, they stayed at a great hotel and had cash for meals and entertainment – all on PCH!
The next day, Danny and Brian arrived at the Atlanta Civic Center for the taping – and how did he arrive – well, with a HUGE welcoming hug by…you guessed it, ME! Good answer!! From there, Danny was able to sit in on as many episode tapings as he wanted – with front row seats to boot! The fun didn’t end there; Danny and Brian joined the Prize Patrol and Family Feud cast and crew for lunch and even got a behind the scenes tour of the video and audio trailers of Family Feud!
Danny said: “We had an AWESOME time and I want to thank all of you again for making it happen. It was a blast. Thanks again to you, Dave, Todd, Deborah, Kathy and everyone else involved. You guys are great and I hope to see you again one day!” Good answer, Danny! I hope to see you again one day, too 🙂
