Please come to Memphis, TN. My family really needs it Mom needs a new house, she lives on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, I have so many bills I can’t help her. Her house was still getting repairs from Katrina when Isaac hit. Rough rough times. Prayers are going out to the families that have nothing and have lost others. Homes are replaceable, families aren’t.

You know I believe it’s random but the winners are often 50+ so the prizes like this don’t have to be payed out for very long the exception being the forever prize. Honestly if anyone like me won it’d be wasted as I have no children to leave it to and the rules state the beneficiary must be named before the end of September so I guess it’s good a guy in his 50s is the winner has his grandchild will be provided for.

What the unidentified man has won: $50,000, plus $5,000 a week for the rest of his life. And when he dies, the weekly award will keep coming to his handpicked beneficiary.

“It’s a huge prize,” said Danielle Lam, one of three Prize Patrollers who flew Thursday to Medford from Publishers Clearing House headquarters in New York.

She and a crew will announce the prize at 10 a.m. in White City, an unincorporated area with 8,000 residents about 10 miles north of Medford.

If the winner and his beneficiary live very, very long lives, the money offers a shot at wealth-building to the tune of $260,000 per year for a century or longer.

“The prize pays forward, which means he’ll get to leave a legacy,” Lam said.

Publishers Clearing House initially planned a 120-year cap on the prize, Lam said, but waived it. It likely won’t matter to the winner, since this is how the award works:

For filling out the winning sweepstakes entry, the White City man takes home $310,000 in the first year and $260,000 each year thereafter. Should he live to the ripe age of 101 — the same age as Florence Detlor, who was named Facebook’s oldest user this week — his take would total more than $13 million before taxes.

The next part of the prize sounds great on paper: No cap! The winner’s beneficiary, who must be named by the end of September, takes over the prize upon the winner’s death. So if, for instance, the winner picked his infant granddaughter, she’d be a 51-year-old woman if he died at age 101. Should her longevity match her grandfather’s, she could also receive about $13 million before taxes once the checks start coming to her.

I was only asking for a response as to what you all are going to do to keep your fans loyal??? I am pretty sure the best thing to do is not to ignore and HIDE your fans and customers comments. I’m not the only one, i see, “willing” it to be me… I can think of so many people I can help!… I want to put money every month to the Utah food bank. I want to give to people for Christmas… Pay off my parents and my husband’s parents debts so they can live better in their limited income. I want to get presents for every name on the angel tree. I want to help my friend establish their home and move out of their noble home. She has been working for two years just to hand-dig her septic tank and leach field and she’s moving into her mid-50′s. I want to put money in bank accounts for each grandchild for their college future. Pay off my husbands house so we can manage on my disability payment… I could help so many people! Sigh… But at nearly 10pm mst, I know it isn’t me… And I sigh… And I cry… For everyone I wish I could have helped.

I think pch falsely advertises winner information due to me recieving a statement saying the winner was going to be in florida. Im done entering and i think they pick who they want to win. well its sunday morning here in florida and getting ready to go to loxehatchee to help build 33 stalls for horses that have no land clear of water and dry so I wanted to say Hay John in Oregon Congrat’s man, you deserve it, and have fun with the funds and use it wisely, now we also have the question today-if we won the 3Million for a dream jome, how would we utilize it-I would buy a farm so I could start my business finally, I have 20 employee’s in each state in the USA waiting for me to get funds to get started, so what would I do with 3M, well PCH, I would be starting the manufacturing company, that would provide jobs for our USA citizens, for plumbers-welders-pump companies-and providing Green Energy for the world, and cleaning up all of the horse manure in each and every stable in the world!
