Dorothy Turns Black Friday Shopping into a Fiesta!

Buenos Dias blog readers!

It’s me, Dorothy Stevens, the Cook & Food Stylist here at PCH — I’m the gal behind-the-scenes making all the food you see in our great ads!  And now that Thanksgiving is over, I figured it was time for me to check in on the blog and really “talk turkey” about the best gifts for the holidays!  So before you go out into the crowds to do your Black Friday shopping (or eat your third turkey sandwich) let me tell you about a muy bien gift idea that I just know you’re gonna “gobble up” — in a taco bowl.

That’s right, a taco bowl — just like they serve at the restaurants — an edible bowl made of a delicious, crisp tortilla shell packed with your favorite meats, cheeses, sauces, spices — and even leftover turkey!  Sounds delicious, doesn’t it?  And now you can make them at home — or give your loved ones a very special gift – with the Set of 4 Tortilla Shell Makers, available at Publishers Clearing House!

I’ve already tried them and let me tell you, they’re so delicious, you won’t know why taco bowls were ever fried in the first place!  You get the same crunchy goodness you love, baked in the oven, without any of the fat or calories of frying!  It’s amazing — and with all time I spend in the kitchen I can honestly say this is one of my favorite go-to products for a super meal in minutes!

It’s just so simple!  Press tortilla shells into the shaped pans and bake for perfectly crunchy, delicious restaurant style taco bowls — then fill them up and eat!

And to get this Black Friday Fiesta started right, here’s a recipe that’s sure to make you want to party!

Step 1:  Bake your taco bowls (using the Set of 4 Tortilla Shell Makers).

Step 2:  Combine lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese and cooked ground beef in a large bowl.

Step 3:  Add the mixture into your taco bowls and pour on the salad dressing (or sour cream, yum!), serve and enjoy!

Not only will you love how easy it is to make such a delicious meal, your friends and family are sure to ask where you got such a remarkable idea – that is, until they unwrap their very own set from you!

So this Black Friday, say “NO WAY” to the lines and say “Ole” to the Set of 4 Tortilla Shell Makers as gifts for your family and friends – at a very nice PCH Price!  Click on this link to find them – toward the bottom of page 2 (If you haven’t registered already, you’ll need to fill in your information before you can see all our exciting offers) – and have your very own Black Friday shopping fiesta (or a post-turkey siesta) as you check the names off your list in seconds!

Happy Shopping!

Dorothy Stevens

I have these bowls and I agree, they are wonderful. I find that corn tortilla shells work best. I use to by the taco bowls from Taco Bell but they stopped selling them so I decided to make my own. And when you make your own, they’re healthier and taste better. :)

Will those names on the short list be notified beginning Monday, the 26th? If so, I take comfort in being given a few more days to hold onto the dream, the delusion that I may be the mega prize winner on the 30th. Ahhh, I dream on…

I ordered these from PCH, and love them, however, I am positive it stated the total cost would be around $15. When I received them, I also got a bill for $25. I’m not too happy about that.
