PCH Works Hard To Stop Publishers Clearing House Scams!

We don’t want any of our fans to be fooled by Publishers Clearing House scams! Please read on for important information.

Hey Fans,

We all know by now that while the Internet can be a great place to learn new things, have fun and meet new friends (as well as reconnect with old ones), there are people out there who do not have your best interest in mind. These tricksters, scammers and fraudsters will try to weasel their way into gaining access to your personal information and your hard-earned money – and they are targeting those who we hold so dear here at PCH – YOU, OUR FANS!

That’s why at Publishers Clearing House we will stop at nothing to put the PCH scams to a halt by empowering you with the knowledge and information you need, so you can recognize when you’re being scammed and how to spot a scammer.

There are a few general rules to keep in mind when it comes to Publishers Clearing House scams. Firstly, understand that official PCH Prize Patrol Fan Pages will never send or accept friend requests!  So, if you login to Facebook and find a request from someone “claiming” to be Todd Sloane from PCH, you can be 100% certain that it is a PCH scam!

What can you do about it? Well, let us know! If you “Like” the PCH Fan Page on Facebook, you know that Victoria Zimmerman, Danielle Lam, Laura Wolfe, Alan Sterling and myself  will always respond to your questions about potential scammers. Feel free to a post a link to the page from which you received the request so we can work to have it removed. From there, you can block and/or report the page to Facebook.

Official PCH Prize Patrol Fan Pages will never private message you on Facebook, either, so if you’re awake one night, perusing your friend’s new photo album and you receive a chat request or a private message from someone “claiming” to be Dave Sayer, once again, you can be certain that this person is not the real Dave Sayer!

Further, we would never, EVER require a winner pay a fee to claim his or her winnings, nor would we ask you to load up a Green Dot MoneyPak card  – it just won’t happen! You see, at PCH, the winning is always free, and you never have to pay to play…no exceptions!

So remember, the only official PCH pages are those that I “like” – but if you ever have any questions about Publishers Clearing House scams, feel free to reach out – we are ALWAYS happy to help!

Good luck and stay safe!

  1. I just received a call from a man claiming to be from PCH. He gave his name as: George Zimmerman and the call originated from Wibaux, MT. Stated I won a large sum of money and a 2022 Mercedes SUV> Theybare to be delivered to my home on Thursday Aug 25 at noon. I believe this to be a scam and am informing PCH and the local authorities.
