Even The Idea Of Winning The PCH Sweepstakes Can Brighten Your Day

Many a time on the heels of the “winning moment” the lucky PCH Sweepstakes winner will say to us Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol’ers, “Well you sure made my day!”  Sometimes they follow that with “My day?  I mean my YEAR.”

The point is: Winning — or even the prospect of winning — can brighten one’s spirits no matter how gloomy they are.

A few weeks ago I visited the wife of a dear friend who had just passed away.  Of course she knows that I am the PCH Prize Patrol guy.  So when she and her daughter saw me pulling in the driveway they pulled open the door and excitedly yelled “We won?  We won?!?” We all laughed because the idea of winning a Big Check from PCH was just the perker-upper that we all needed at a sad time.

I imagine that if we drove down the streets of a neighborhood ravaged by Hurricane Sandy everyone’s spirits would rise as well.

Could you use a perker-upper?  Obviously I can’t promise you a Big Check worth thousands or millions of dollars – or even a little check.  But if you enter the PCH Sweepstakes today – and every day – at least you’ll be taking advantage of the opportunity to win.  If you don’t enter you’ll lose for sure!

And remember: if you enter in time, YOU could become the winner of our next $5,000 A Week “Forever” Prize: if you win, that’s $5,000 a week for your life, plus after that, $5,000 a week for the life of someone you choose. I think you’ll agree: that would brighten your day – and every day for the rest of your life!

Wishing you the best of luck.

Hello Dave, How Are You Holding Up In All The PCH Hustle & Bustle Of This New Year?

Am so Loving your touching story of you visiting your deceased friend’s home & getting such a robust greeting that put sweet smiles on 3 faces who had such broken hearts! That says to me you are friends with real survivors! :D

And you’re quite right…just thinking one might win does put a smile on one’s face & brightens the spirit! It’s a True “Feel Good” moment!

You asked, “Could you use a picker upper?” Only 1 correct answer there-YES! My situation is no more dire or needy than countless thousands out in this sad & depressing world…and won’t bog you down with details…would just like to say, Thanks for the Smile & Perking Up my Spirit today!

I TRY to enter all that PCH has to offer each day…as often as my poor, old laptop will let me!:P Some days it starts to make whirring & screeching sounds within the first hour I’m online. And other days I’m on PCH all day long ~ it’s just hit & miss… none-the-less, I Have Fun!:D

Try To Stay Warm, Travel Safely & Take Good Care Of Yourself!

Best Regards To You & The Other Members Of Your PCH Family! Joye H., OKC, OK

Dave,
I’m sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. My best friend was my Father that I lost 7 years ago to Alzheimers, and thinking about it, having 7 years of bad luck since. My two older Sister’s have both passed in the past two years and were such good natured, simple, and caring people that and I could talk to about most anything I could talk to my Dad about. My mother passed of cancer at 55 in 1991 and both of my Sister’s were at the same age of the on-set of cancer and their passing. I can relate to your pain and hope you can cherish the good times knowing your friend is in a Beautiful place with no pain or worry. I know this because I witnessed something that truly made me a believer. My last sister to pass, Theresa, was not ready to leave us and believed in “GOD”, but was not active in religion. In her final moments, after not being conscious for a couple days she suddenly awoke. The sun was rising out her window and she opened her eyes. She looked into the sky out the windows with a wondering and disbelieving look as if she was seeing past relatives and perhaps “GOD” himself. She seemed in her eyes, eyebrows, and facial expressions as if she was trying to be coaxed to go somewhere but was not ready. Suddenly she got a HUGE SMILE on her face and out of nowhere raised her arms and hands straight up towards the sky and rising sun out the window and seemingly reaching toward those she saw as if reaching to go with them to what had to be a BEAUTIFUL PLACE and sight to see. Then, she lowered her arms, closed her eyes, and peacefully left in the blink of an eye without a word or eye contact with anyone in the room full of family. It was the most amazing thing I have ever witnessed or experienced in my life and it truly made me a believer. I think we all gave her so much hope and belief that she was going to be fine from day 1, in order to alleviate any possible fear, that it was hard for her to believe she was at a point to trust in what she was seeing and that it was time to be with “GOD”. May “GOD” Bless you, his wife, his entire family, and all of your friend’s friends, and may “GOD” help them have peace and comfort knowing he is with “GOD” and past friends and family without pain, suffering, or worry of any kind. We suffer emotionally here on Earth in our loss but have to remember that “Heaven” is a BEAUTIFUL PLACE where everything is peaceful.
Allen

Way back on Monday,October 29, 2012 in the late afternoon just before the evening started at 6:00P.M.,there’s a power outage in my own hometown which is Fairfax,Virginia which is not just far away from Washington,D.C. when Hurricane Sandy already hit the electricity in my hometown when I was a little bit scared in the dark.

I have to agree with you Dave! That to see the Prize Patrol van with the Prize Patrol Crew pulling up to my home would brighten my whole year for my daughter and I. Just the fact that we can enter to win without having to by anything makes me happy since I can’t even afford new clothes or the bills that are over months due. So the though of you all showing up with even a check for $20,000.00 would brighten anyone’s day! <3 you all

Odds of winning are somewhere near impossible. At the same time it wouldn’t be wise for me to “ignore” PCH sweepstakes, when that’s what most people do already. All it takes is a little of my time and I can also get discounts on certain things if I want. Best of all I get to keep dreaming in hope and anticipation what I’ll do with a PCH Prize. I want whatever I can get. And the thought of tens of thousands of dollars even millions, is blissful and euphoric to me. Like a fantasy world or something. But I know it’s within reach.

Everyone that enters wants to be the”one” to win ! I myself am no different than anyone else that enters .For me, there is a method to what many people think is madness, entering sweepstakes online and through the mail. I don’t think it’s madness at all but hope. What is life without hope and belief ? So many people today are without that very thing. There are many sweepstakes out there and yes I have entered a few. I have never seen a more honest, caring, compassionate giving company than PCH. PCH is real. I have watched the videos and listened to the comments of people that have won and I think it’s fabulous. I think PCH takes Philanthropy to a whole new level. You can actually feel the love that comes with the gifts that they indulge the winners with.. I know that PCH is giving those gifts from the heart .It gives me great comfort to know that they take an early look ! It let’s me know that they are serious about they’re gift giving but they also make it fun. Need, I think everyone is in need of something. No one person is without a need. Something prompts people to enter sweepstakes. You lose a loved one, debt, an unexpected illness occurs and changes your life in an instance. Whatever the reason I am just glad that PCH is here. In this day and age people have and still are pretending to be PCH. PCH has done everything to let it’s public know what to watch out for. concerning fraudulent sites, phone calls and scams. What other sweepstakes does that ? I don’t know who will win this coming February. I do know it will be a good choice and I know the needs of the person will be met abundantly. Hats off PCH !

Truly,

That is so right, anytime i hear there is a prize about to be awarded it just brightens my day. I always take the time to get dressed up just in case and watch for the clues looking up the answers as they go along. The best part is when the prize is awarded thinking about how surprised they were and thanking how it may happen to me one day. Thank you for the hope, and joy you all bring into my life.

Mr. Dave, not long ago (at Christmas), I wrote how sad and unfortunate are after my sister’s death, how much I miss and certainly I feel that all my life but … I woke up one morning and realized that I must continue to live, that I just appreciate.
I sit and think about my life, what I was, what I was taking and what I will be given later. I see people that at the time I thought wonderful, and what not to believe now? But I realize that their place was with me just for a while. It’s like when you’re a kid and eat from a smaller plate, then grow up and realize that the fact that the plate is not for you, because you need something else. Those people were great but had to follow their own path.
When you lose something people tend to look for someone to blame (as I did), but some things happen because we have to, as they were meant to be (we mean once). Sometimes there are guilty only things that must be accepted.
Sometimes you just need to stop crying, to stop looking at the door that has been closed you in the face and you soar before. There will always be new opportunities, and if you do not hurry to catch someone else will take your place.
The important thing is to love people in your life, to wake up and be happy with what you have, you smile and say “I’ll get over it”!
“Today is the tomorrow you worried on yesterday.”

It is exciting to day-dream that PCH knocks on my door,I smile at the shear thought! I smile and cry along when someone else wins too, can only feel happiness for them! I play the games and search everyday , been doing it for years and years, in the hopes that my dreams will come true especially now that we are having real hard times. maybe we will be that someone else soon and that will be an awesome picker-upper!! I would love to be the new spokesperson and representative!!!

Hi Dave, Yes our year also started with a sadness, a co-worker and friend of my husbands, a friends father, and another friends brother. They say it comes in threes and I was hoping my dishwasher would count as one, but it didn’t:( But I believe, so I know it is okay. And you are right, when I think of winning the “Big” one, I do smile! I’ve learned also if I am upset, thinking about the win is much better than counting to ten. Now hopefully this will go through, and I won’t hit the wrong keys and it will say I’m a spambot! Haha! My big win, my big win,…

Hi Dave,

Hoping that I am a winner too. Dave I lost my job in 2010 and thank God that he send my ex bosses to help me at the time to keep a roof over my head if I would be living on the street then. Dave I have a son who is in need of a kidney transplant but we
don’t have the money to pay for the surgery muchless the medication, I was the one who was paying for him to do his dialysis and now it’s just God grace that is getting my son through with him getting dialysis. My son is living in Jamaica so i had to make sure he get medication at all times. I can’t even get him anything now because I am not making enough to help him.I am working part time @$8:00 per hr 3 sometimes 4days a week and still owe bills ,can’t even pay my rent and I got evicted for that, now I am sleeping on a friend couch until I can support myself again. My husband and I are both looking for jobs now that could help us in paying our bills and help my son at the time in Jamaica.
Through God’s grace we are gonn be alright.

Thanks Dave,

Donna.
