Our PCH friends are very important to us! So, when we noticed that some of you were asking the question ― what is a Publishers Clearing House Giveaway Number? ― we wanted to clear things up right away!
The first thing I did was track down our Sweepstakes Manager, Maryann Carter. If anyone can explain the ins and outs of PCH Giveaway Numbers, she can! Maryann responded, “Please tell your readers that the process of assigning the numbers is actually quite simple. When we start a new Giveaway here at Publishers Clearing House, it is assigned a Giveaway Number.”
Maryann continued, “These numbers are assigned consecutively and help us to easily identify and distinguish the promotions from each other. Right now, there are dozens of sweepstakes promotions of various amounts being promoted by Publishers Clearing House and they each have their own unique Giveaway Number.”
Then, I asked Maryann to explain more about our current ongoing SuperPrize Giveaway ― Giveaway Number 1830.
She explained, “Sometimes our friends might get a little confused because they see different upfront prize amounts associated with Giveaway Number 1830 in our promotions. But, the fact is, Giveaway No. 1830 can be promoted with different prize amounts. For example, our recent February 28th prize event was $5,000.00 A Week “Forever”. Now, the current SuperPrize Promotion is $1 Million Every Year For Life. Both of these SuperPrize promotions are under Giveaway Number 1830.”
She continued, “Whenever we take a “Special Early Look” for a winner, we’re prepared to award the prize as offered to an entrant with a matching winning number.” She added, “If a matching winning number is not found, we’re often approved to hold a second chance drawing for an alternate prize. You see, all of our Giveaways have end dates. But since our Executive Team is all about winning, they often authorize a number of ‘Special Early Look Events,’ where we take a look for a Millionaire winner before a Giveaway officially ends.”
Here are some of our winners from Giveaway Number 1830:
Elise Gutierrez of La Place, LA won $1 Million won February 28, 2013.
Rory Bellamy of Cleveland, OH won $1 Million on November 30, 2012.
John Wyllie of White City, OR won $5,000 A Week “Forever” on August 31, 2012.
And, friends, just so you know, Maryann explained that whenever a Millionaire-Making SuperPrize is awarded, the funds are replenished so Giveaway No. 1830 can continue.
Well, I hope that cleared up the question of ― What Is A Publishers Clearing House Giveaway Number?
