    Moin fatmi,

I am sorry to hear that you are stricken with Polio. You are on my prayer list. I thank the Lord that you have a beloved Sister that takes you in and cares for you. My only sister that lived here in CA passed away from a brain tumor. I would be homeless here and alone if it weren’t for a good Christian who helps me. I count my blessings every single day. Sending you prayers with faith, hope and love my friend.

It would not be a SECRET TO THANK GOD FOR HIS FINANCIAL BLESSING. I would wait a while for some of the excitement to get over, I would pay my bills and home off, and remodel my entire house. I would pay off all of my immediate family’s bills and buy a home for those that did not have one. I would assist my church in purchasing a piece of property to have a sanctuary built so that we can continue to help the needy. I would buy a piece of property to have homes built to assist needy families. I would invest in busses to assist families and other loves to visit their love ones. Regardless of the upcoming money, I will use it wisely. I would certainly help the needy and not the greedy. I would build a Computer Lab and other facilities to assist our at risk youth and other individuals to become computer literate. I know that I can not save the world but I would do what I could do in various needy communities.

Dear PCH….

I have so many ideas…. charities are on the top of my list, too… and the homeless!

But, for myself… I have been out of work for over 2-years and I am in need of serious help… I have been struggling to make ends meet… I can’t pay for my prescriptions and my car stopped working to and I may have to turn in my tags… therefore I would be out of a car even if I got the job…. I can’t pay my bills and may loose my home…. (crying)… I know that there are many that “ENTER” like me…. I just want a chance like many others to have a fresh start… and begin a new life… so, those are the things that I would personally take care of for myself!
Thanks…. PCH and “Hello” to the PCH-fans…. Best Wishes to all on April 30th/2013

I would end hunger in America. How? By buying up land in urban centers and rural areas, donating that land to community trusts, setting up classes to teach and train people who are out of work or still in school who want to learn how to grow food without chemical pesticides, then distributing that food to wherever it is needed. I would hire ex-convicts, homeless people, youth “at risk”, baby-boomers, veterans, an all-inclusive, inter-generational, diverse workforce. The next step will be to assist in developing affordable, sustainable housing using the same approach. Why ask the government to do for us what we as Americans can do for ourselves? I just want to be a catalyst for change. I have been hungry. I have been jobless. I have been homeless. More money will enable me to do just that. What we do here the world will see, and replicate.

My first thing is to get a house we are homeless and my kids need a house to live in, My next thing to do is set up a fund for H.I.V patients whom cannot afford the money for the A.R.V medications and help them so they can live productive lives, basically pick up where the President left off. I would then pay back all those who have helped me and my wife since we are both ill, and pay for our medications, I would secure my kids futuresand help the children at St judes with a healthy donation, I would go to the Hospital that saved my life in 2010 and help with a new wing for people whom cannot afford medical care and put toilet seats in there rooms and givem them better food daily, also add hot water so they can take hot showers, those cold showers were brutal , I would also add air conditioning to the hospital since in the philippines it get brutally hot and its unbearable when you sick and have to lie on a sheet in a non air-con room, I did it for months and it was terrible. I want to give back to all those who helped my wife and I and I want to secure my wife and I a good future, I know it is alot to ask, but I do not need to be rich, I would take healthy first, I just need to be comfortable and not have to worry about how and when and if I am going to get my medications to live and see my kids grow up. I love life and maybe just maybe take a family vacation

First I would thank God for the blessing. Then I would buy a new home for my 3 daughters and I. My middle daughter has cancer and she’s 19 yr old. I would pay for their college loans. My oldest daughter has a masters in education and my middle daughter is a sophomore at Howard university and my 16 year old is number one in her 11th grade class, preping for college. I would take the girls on a trip around the world. They deserve it. I retire disabled from the police dept have mobilizing the WTC area on Sept 11, 2001., without any recognition. I would buy a much needed car. I would give some money to charity, especially Sloan Kettering cancer center for saving my daughter. I would help my family and church. We’re building a new life center for the community and monetarily I haven’t been able to give on my pledge of $5,000. A commitment I would love to complete. And whatever else I can do. Those are the priorities. Thanking PCH in advance for the possibilities.

If I won $1 million dollars every year, one of the first things I would do is move out of California because taxes would take most of it.I would talk to a financial advisor to set up a family living trust with my three children. It would run as a business so that each child could take one third amount from the base for their use or to fill a need. They could only take what is agreed upon by they other two and agree to repay the acount with a small interest rate…to keep the acount growing. Maybe a 2% charge for personal wants and 1% for charity. They have their own favorite charities. My favorite charities are the Salvation Army and Valley Rescue Mission which help more people than I know with housing and food and jobs. I also like the charities that help save the land, parks, animals and cultural venues. For myself, I would repay my sister for the low rent she has charged me. I would buy or build a house for me on a small acreage. Perhaps open a B & B and with an auditorium for concerts, meetings, dances and weddings. There will be enough land to raise fruit trees, vegetables and chickens. The produce could be sold at a stand and or donated to feed the locals sho need it. I think I have written enough. THANKS.

Next, I would finish school, this will help me start a business and I could help others with jobs. I would invest, make more money to help even more people in this time of struggles. We often wonder why we are here, what is our purpose, well mine is to help people as much as I can. In doing so, I help myself. When I pass on, I want people to remember who I was as a person and what I gave back. Some things I plan to do in secret to help people. All contributions don’t have to be public. I want to also give to many much need charities. I would put money away for my kids for their futures. I didn’t forget about myself, I need a lot of things and I will enjoy life but not go overboard. Hey, I won’t have time. LOL Who would think, having so much money would keep you so busy. Good Luck to everyone! Dixon IL awaits you!!!!! Drive safe PCH…. Thank you for helping so many people! Hey everyone… DON’T FORGET TO PLAY, EVERYDAY! You have to enter to win!!!!

what would I do?.. first I would drop to my knees and thank GOD! Then with help.. get and get my knees fixed.. its been almost a year now.. walking, standing and sitting in pain.. not working.. limited public insurance..no income waiting/fighting months for approval for help.. I would just get the replacements, not worry about pre existing conditions.. or politics and release myself from the constant pain and get my life back. I’m 52. I get my joy from helping others, and being an inspiration.. I still try even thru the pain.. If I was blessed enough to win I would also love to champion a few non profits that help people get connected to the services they need without getting lost in a frustrating sea of red tape. A second hand store that donates its profits to musicians and artists who many times sacrifice the coin for the passion of creativity.. things like that.. I have been blessed by good friends who have taken me in during this painful time.. Nothing would please me more than to repay them with some help.. But I sure need a place of my own.. Nothing too fancy.. Just a place to call home.. and care for my mom and family. My girls are all grown up but suffer with Lupus.. they have taught me about pain and courage. they have worked hard and I would like to help them a bit for their mortgages, provide some comforts to help ease the pain.. and infertility issues. I don’t crave material things I just want to leave the world a little better when I got here . I know we all want to change our lives for the better.. I have read these posts and my heart and prayers go out to everyone hoping and wishing to have that chance to change their lives for the better.. and if we don’t win.. I pray for everyone to keep going, don’t give up hope. When I started this post.. I was very sad.. at the end of my rope.. on a cold, cloudy day.. my body aching.. its still cold and cloudy, my body is still aching.. But I feel a little bit better.. thanks PCH for letting me vent and wish.. Good Luck to everyone ..Thanks

I think that it is really nice to go around asking PCH staff the big question.

If the Prize patrol came to my apartment I would scream and thank the good Lord, & hug all the prize patrol.

I would pay off all my debts, get a new vehicle, move to another state to start all over, I would donate to my favorite charity, tithe in my church, take a long waited vacation, help my family pay off their student loans, set up a trust fund for my three granddaughters, buy a duplex so that my daughter & I could be together but not under foot,

I would really get a hustling on working on my genealogy/family picture book. As this is my legacy to my family on family history and family pictures. Travel to the state where I born & get all the archives on family history. Travel the neighboring states as well.

I pray that I will receive the winning this month April 30th. Thank you for asking.

If I had the opportunity to win a million for life I would have to say that the first thing I would do is give back to God. I would give a percentage to my church to help them with their missions. I would also like to start my own ministry for juvenile’s that are serving their time behind bars, and the ministry would continue to walk with them after their time is done. I would pay off my husbands student loans, and other family debt. I would also focus on investments for my children so they would have the opportunity to go to college when they are old enough. Build our family a home, nothing lavish but large enough to fit our family of seven. There is one selfish splurge I would do for my children and that is taking them to Disney World for a week because my second youngest would be so excited to meet Minnie Mouse and have some tea with her!

If I won $ 1 million every for life the first thing I would do is donate to a church in Benson, AZ. We lived there for 15 years and the church needs a lot of fixing. I’m 81 years young and the church in Benson Az was the friendlest church ever. Also I would donate money to families that have sick children. We were so lucky to have 2 healthy sons and our youngest wanted us to come back to Denver so he could help us in our later years. We are so blessed but always short on money be cause of exoense medication and with special diets we have a hard time with grocers. They very expensive. Thankyou PCH.

First of all, I would pay off all debts incurred during my wife’s illness and passing. Then I would make provision s for my care when I can no longer care for myself. At 73, I have already lost the toes of my left foot and I don’t know what the future holds for me.

To understand what I’d do, you first have to know my circumstances. I moved from Ann Arbor, Mi to the northern wilderness to care for my ill, elderly parents. I always intended to return to my life when my “tour of duty” was completed here. It is said that when you make a plan God laughs, that’s exactly what happened to me. By the time I was able to leave, the economy & real estate market had crashed causing me to have to live off of savings that is down to the last few dollars. I’m now stranded in a place where the only life is wild,I.E., bears, coyotes, etc.-not a place for a social, urban lady. It’s just me & my 2 little dogs, that also are an urban breed. There’s no place to walk them, besides in the woods with the wild animals-no thanks. The only jobs in area are min. wage & difficult to come by. I’m turning 59 April 23rd, & I haven’t a future. Despite the hardships helping my folks has caused me, I’m grateful for the time we shared & would do it again. It was the right thing to do. So the main reason I want to win the sweeepstakes is for the luxury to grow older knowing my needs will be cared for. However, winning $1million/yr would allow me to fulfill my dream of initiating,(seed $),a non-profit org. that rewards the “everday heroes,” For instance, the man who risked his own life to save a woman’s dog who had walked onto a thinly ice covered lake/river & became straned on an ice floe & surely would have died. People who do these acts, not cause they’re being paid, but simply because it’s the right thing to do are angels on earth & deserve to be rewarded. I do also have high-esteem for rescue workers who do it as a job. If I won the $1million/yr, I would 1st build my dream home in the urban location of my choice where my “girls” & I could thrive. I would attend to my loved-ones financial needs; purchase a baby grand piano for my Nephew’s children, (they’re classicaly trained & practicing on a keyboard). I’d also contribute to charities of choice. Starting my org.-doing good works, showering my loved-ones, & not having any financial worries would keep me JOYOUSLY busy to a ripe old age-like Ms. Betty White, whom I idolize. I pray that it’s God’s will that I win.

What I would do if I won a million dollars every year for life is, As i stated before in a blog a couple weeks ago that I would buy me my dream house and my dream truck I would also buy new football and cheerleading uniforms for a little league football team in my area and be one of there sponsers, Im already a team mom,And I would make sure my childen are taken care of and my family as well.I would like to start a fund for battered and abused women to be able to leave their residence and not have to worry about having the money to help the women get a fresh start and if its a man I will help them too.Another thing I would do is to always donate food to the foodbanks so that I can take part In helping others where help Is needed. And I would provide shelter to those that need a place to stay when the temperature is low in the winter months and help some people get off the streets and find homes for them and a hot meal. And I would also donate school supplies for children that dont have the supplies they need.I just want to start a cherity where I can help anyone with a Genuine need.

If the Prize Patrol came to my door and showed me that I won the big prize, I would have to ask them to wake me up to make sure I was not dreaming. LOL! If I won all of that money, I would first pay off all bills, second, get my teeth fixed because they are really, really bad and falling out. I just cannot afford dental care on my disability income. The insurance I found that includes dental says you have to pay for it yourself. Nice, hu? The income does not provide for such expenses. I collect cans, that’s not enough either but I try anyway. I have sold all extras, it just wasn’t enough. After that, I would get a home, because right now I live in someone else’s home and if they decide I need to move on in a whim, (which has happened before) I am homeless-disabled and oh my goodness what will become of me? That scares the daylights out of me.

I would love to take the Prize Patrol to a nice dinner, I have always wanted to do that and I know just the place to take them. They will love it, dinner with a view on the hill.

I would like to make a donation to the Cancer Society, the HUMANE SOCIETY, SPCA, I would like to become a Veterinarian that charges fair prices. What a thought hey? I don’t think that will work because honestly, the girl cannot work, I tried with all of my might and then some. No one said that I could not dream though.

At one time I worked three full time jobs. I held it for a while, and yes, I was a mad woman during that time. This is why in part I am a severely disabled woman at this time, but the root cause, occurred before then when I was little. An invisible disability, moderate to severe. I worked three times as hard as anyone else just to be average. Five times as hard to be above average. You absolutely can say, it was more than burn out that threw me under the wheel.

Now, I pay the price for all that work I did back then and the injury that occurred when I was a child. I didn’t know I didn’t have quality of life until someone told me. Now I know, I still wonder what it would be like to have quality of life.

Perhaps a windfall like this will help me learn more about it. I would like to share quality of life with others who are like me. I think that would be a blast. If it is willed by the Master, we all know who that is.

Great dream and I’m loving it.

Thank you for asking.
