Flower-Shaped Cupcake Holders: Dorothy’s Spring Treat Secret!

Hello Sweet Blog Readers!

With Spring in full swing, I just had to “hop” back on the blog, and tell you all about what I’ve been cooking up for the season.  You see, while some people are out planting flowers, I’m doing what I love best … with flour … and sugar … and some of my favorite PCH products — Flower-Shaped Cupcake Holders, Flour & Sugar Keepers and Flexible Cutting Boards.

I know what you’re thinking… you don’t want to be cooped up in the kitchen on a sunny day.  And that’s why having the right baking products is so important!  Not only can they help you get the job done right, but they can make cleanup a cinch, too!

Here’s what I mean —

Today, I wanted to share some Banana Nut Muffins with friends.  So I tried to get my ingredients in order:

Bananas
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Now, I had two concerns here:

1)     I didn’t buy pre-chopped nuts and needed to chop them myself

2)     I know some people have nut allergies so I’ll need to keep them separate from the sliced bananas I like to put on top of my muffins.

What’s a gal who needs separate cutting boards to do?  Use one of our PCH products — the amazing Flexible Cutting Boards, of course!

Color-coded cutting boards let me keep my ingredients separate.  And the slip-resistant gripper backing kept them in place — even when I was chopping the toughest nuts!  What a kitchen miracle!

Next, I had to get the rest of my ingredients together including:

1 large egg
1/3 cup butter
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Some milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Cooking spray

I got them all out and put them out on the counter.  But when I went to get the 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar I needed, I immediately saw that I was making a mess — and all that powder in the air made me sneeze!  Those bags are not meant to be left loose!

A mess without the Flour and Sugar Keepers

So, I found Flour & Sugar Keepers to put them in.  Just look at the difference!

Now there’s less mess, less cleanup and the snap-shut lids help protect against moisture!   What an awesome idea!

After I mixed all my ingredients together, I had delicious batter that only took minutes to make — so it was time to bake! And what better way is there to celebrate Springtime than with adorable Flower-Shaped Cupcake Holders?  They’re perfect for cupcakes or muffins — and they’re non-stick and dishwasher safe — for quick and easy cleanup every time!

As you can see, PCH products are my main ingredients for success.  Take a look at my favorite picks for the season (if you haven’t already registered, you’ll need to fill in your information before you can see all our exciting offers) — the Flexible Cutting Boards Set of 4 (toward the middle of page 2), Flour and Sugar Keepers Set of 2 (toward the bottom of page 3) and Flower-Shaped Cupcake Holders – set of 12 – Plus Set of 12 FREE (right above the Flour and Sugar Keepers on page 3)!  I just know you’re going to love them!

Now that I’ve made something Spring-sational to share, I’m ready to go out into the sun.  After I have my own Spring treat, of course!

Happy Baking,
