How To Report Publishers Clearing House Scams on Facebook

As you know, sadly there are Publishers Clearing House scammers on Facebook who pretend to be the PCH Prize Patrol in order to fool people. We want to help our fans avoid these Publishers Clearing House scams every way we can.

Remember, the PCH Prize Patrol DOES NOT send out friend requests to our fans on Facebook. So if you do receive a friend request, chat request or private message claiming to be someone from the Prize Patrol, they are NOT who they claim to be!

A lot of you have been asking how to report these scams, so I put together this step-by-step guide to show you exactly what to do in case you happen to come across one.

STEP #1: On the fraudulent page, click the “gear” looking image and select “report/block”.

STEP #2: Select “Submit a Report” and “Report Account”. Click Confirm.

STEP #3: Select “This person is impersonating someone” and “A Celebrity”. Then type the name of the person being impersonated and select the page. Click continue.

STEP #4: FINAL STEP: Select “Block” and “Sumbit a Report”. Click the continue button to complete.

  1. So I contacted Agent Mark Williams and he said they were stop and I need to pay a $15,800 fee and that would be the last. But I decided to cut my losses and contract you. Someone tried to tell me in Facebook that I would never finish paying him but I thought he was a scammer so I reported him to Agent Mark and he said he reported him.

It’s important to remember that PCH does not contact winners of a major prize via phone, text, email, mail, or on Social Media. Also, if anyone asks you for money for any reason to claim a prize, you can be sure they’re a scammer. Please don’t give them any money, or any personal information! Scammers are very sneaky and will use our good name and reputation to try to deceive people.   2. Got a call from a Dave Sawyer, who says he is a prize patrol ambassador. He informed me that I have won 50,000 cashiers check, 5000 a week for life and a 2023 Ford Explorer. The prize patrol would be coming to my home but I need 899 dollar registration card to show patrol that I am who I am. Told him I don’t have this money so now he wants 250 on a green dot money pack scratch card. His number is 1-531-233-$$$$.

It’s important to know also that PCH does not contact winners of a major prize privately via phone, text, email, mail, or on Social Media. Received phone call from Arizona and was told that I had won 2.5 million dollars a total of $5,000 a week for life and they wanted me to get seals from my state at a cost of $750 each before they could send me the money. They sent me a letter, they texted me a letter across my email to show that it was all real they tried to bargain with me that they covered the storage fee at $3,000 a day and I wouldn’t lose the money, that I also was going to win a 2023 Range Rover in my favorite color blue. I think people should know about this and not accept it they sent me a text or sent me an email they said at an old email address they phone me twice and then told me on the phone when I answered the phone in a second time that I had one they turned around and then put me on hold dearly delight around then sent me a letter to my new email address stating that I was the winner of 2.5 million dollars for $5,000 a week for life and a new range Rover vehicle and they wanted me to turn around and send them two payments to $750 for seals for the State of Florida to get the money delivered here thought it was a scam I went took all the information down they gave me I have it all if somebody is like like the information to maybe follow up on it that’s here with me you can contact me at my email address and I’d gladly forward it to you and I hope this will help stop other people for getting scammed please join with your gift.

  4. Yes I was called that I won 3 mil and $10,000. This was a Dave Sayer he said and asked for my gmail address but set photos of large cards and a check. Is this a scam? Unsure. Gave me their number

Please do not call that number, do not give the scammer any personal info including bank account information, and definitely do not send them any money if they ask.
