Hi blog readers! Laura Wolfe here, bringing you more chances to WIN. Obviously, at PCH, “it’s all about winning” and let me tell you, you can’t lose with the contest I’m about to tell you about.
As you may already know, PCH has partnered with Animal League America for the 2013 Mutt-i-grees® “America Adopts” PSA Contest. Students across the country had the opportunity to create a video message in the form of a Public Service Announcement to help raise awareness and convey the message of why animal lovers should adopt shelter pets, also known as Mutt-i-grees®. This is a great cause and I had a blast surprising the three winning schools with their prizes!
With ALL of the great PSA’s submitted, wouldn’t it be GREAT if there was a second chance opportunity for another school to win? Well, THERE IS, and YOU can have a chance to pick the winner. Animal League America is currently running a second chance portion of the contest. You, the fans, can vote for your “fan favorite” video to receive a prize! There will be one 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners, each winning educations grants in increments of $1,000, $750 and $500 respectively! How GREAT for schools!
AND the excitement doesn’t end there because YOU can win too. You can enter for a chance to win a Pet Product Super Basket and get pet goodies of your own. PCH is providing a basket of fabulous pet prizes for you and your furry friends – it contains water and food bowls, toys, a leash, grooming products, and much more!
So there’s nothing to lose! Animals win, students win, and YOU could win. And you get to help make a difference!
I know that PCH fans will love this opportunity. Every time we have discussed this contest here on the blog or on the PCH Fan Page or Danielle Lam’s PCH Prize Patrol Fan Page, response has been overwhelmingly positive and supportive! Many PCH fans are animal lovers, often telling us about their dreams to set up their own animal rescue groups, adopt homeless animals, and just generally spread love to these loyal friends.
The PSA videos that these students have created are inspiring, smart, and very persuasive. Please take a moment to vote and show support for both the students and the animals they hope to help.
I love hearing your pet stories – let me know if YOU have ever adopted an animal. Two of my childhood pets were adopted from Animal League America – they were great additions to our family! I’m sure many of you feel the same way about your furry (or scaly?) friends.
