GOOD LUCK from the PCH Prize Patrol!

GoodLuckFromThePrizePatrol

WOW! I can’t believe the $5,000.00 A Week “Forever” Prize is RIGHT around the corner! It’s just a few days away! As you probably know, I’m on Facebook and Twitter all the time listening to and responding to fan comments…and I can tell you that PCH fans are super excited for the chance to win REALLY BIG (if you win, $5,000 a week for your life, plus after that, $5,000 a week for the life of someone you choose!)  It’s really wonderful to see all of the excitement and buzz from the people that mean most to us…our fans.

I’m just as excited as everyone else too. I just LOVE traveling the country and awarding those BIG checks that everyone dreams about winning one day. At Publishers Clearing House our prize winner selection process is random and unbiased. PCH Giveaways are conducted under the supervision of the PCH Board of Officials and overseen by independent auditors and outside counsel. We have no way of knowing, prior to selection, who our winners may be or where they may come from…it’s just up to luck!

Since it’s just up to luck…I want to wish everyone GOOD LUCK in the PCH Sweepstakes.  Since I love our fans so much, I even want to wish you GOOD LUCK in Italian – Buona fortuna!  Wasn’t that fun! I wonder how you say GOOD LUCK in different languages like Greek, Spanish, French, German, etc?  Maybe YOU can help me figure it out?  You can even use my PERSONAL PCHSearch&Win page to help look for translations – and get a sweepstakes entry in the process (woohoo!).

Wouldn’t it be FANTASTIC if someone who commented on the blog ended up being the big winner? So let’s really get excited to cheer each other on! Comment below with saying “GOOD LUCK” in all different languages (I wonder how many languages we can all cover if we work together?).  Ready…go! And maybe, just maybe, the Prize Patrol will see one of you in just a few days!

Keeper of the Birds said...

Being of Irish and Cherokee descent, when i grew upIi searched my roots which took me back to N.C. to learn. Since my elders in North Carolina are Cherokee/Lakota descent; I learned to sing/speak a bit of several dilects of native languages primarily Lakota Sioux. Cherokee has no translation for good luck instead we have sayings or teachings. Many of the 700 dilects of native languages in our country have no translation for the word EVIL either!
so my irish side says, “ádh mór ort!” translates to ” good luck to you ”
and i would add to all Y’all (north carolinian lingo)
As my Lakota elder Chubbs taught me, ” Tókhi wániphika ní! ” translates to ‘good luck’
with the reminder of the Ancient Ones (all those whom walked the red road of life before us)
Ancient Indian Proverb:
Treat the earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children.

our traditions our stories are primarily verbally handed down generation to generation, it is a great honor to be a story teller….Black Elk was one and left us this wisedom:

You have noticed that everything an Indian does in a circle,
and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles,
and everything and everything tries to be round.

In the old days all our power came to us from the sacred hoop
of the nation and so long as the hoop was unbroken the people
flourished. The flowering tree was the living center of the hoop,
and the circle of the four quarters nourished it. The east gave peace
and light, the south gave warmth, the west gave rain and the north
with its cold and mighty wind gave strength and endurance. This
knowledge came to us from the outer world with our religion.

Everything the power of the world does is done in a circle.
The sky is round and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball
and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls.
Birds make their nests in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours.
The sun comes forth and goes down again in a circle. The moon
does the same and both are round. Even the seasons form a great
circle in their changing and always come back again to where they were.

The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is
in everything where power moves. Our teepees were round like the
nests of birds, and these were always set in a circle, the nation’s hoop,
a nest of many nests, where the Great Spirit meant for us to hatch our children.

Black Elk, Holy Man of the Oglala Sioux 1863-1950

Over a hundred years ago Black Elk had a vision of the time when Indian people would heal from the devastating effects
of European migration. In his vision the Sacred Hoop which had been broken, would be mended in seven generations.
The children born into this decade will be the seventh generation.

Keeper says, “Ah-ho, Mitakyue Oyasin’ ” translates to “in All MY Relations” translates to I am still praying i see all y’all from #PrizePatrol in the #pchvan soon! then i could be the winner from the blog :) nice thought anyhow!

Hi Danielle,
Publishers Clearing House has given me something that I have never had before. They have given me a fair chance to win a significant opportunity for my family and I to have our dreams come true. I have seen videos of many families that have had their lives changed for the better by PCH Prize Patrol Elite bringing them news of winning PCH Sweepstakes. If I were to ever win PCH Sweepstakes like the PCH Forever Prize on August 29th it would mean much more than having a lot more money. If I were to ever win Publishers Clearing House one day I could get my husband out of the semi truck and home with his family. My husband Brian is a truck driver and his work takes him away from his family. I would love to be able to tell my boys that dad is going to be here when they get up in the morning and home when they get off the bus. I am here everyday with our boys but they look up to their dad. They miss him when he is out on the road and phone calls just don’t mean the same as him being right here with us. So I am very thankful for Publishers Clearing House giving me this chance. I know it is all luck of the draw when it comes to the winner being picked for prizes like the $5,000 a week forever on August 29th. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping luck will be attached to one of my entries. And if I am not the lucky winner for this prize I am just as excited to enter all the other wonderful sweepstakes that PCH has for us PCH Fans to enter and win. Thank you Danielle for all your replies and information on Facebook and Twitter. I read your page as much as I can. And thank you for the Good Luck to all of us fans.
Good Luck to you all!

Hello Prize Patrol! I must say it has been an awesome experience to be able to participate in this contest. It’s so exciting to be able to hope & dream that you could possibly be a winner of so much in terms of cash & prizes. I was asking myself about what I would refurnish in my house if I could win $3 million dollars? I’m a disabled veteran so I would love to have a brand new bathroom. To be able to get in & out of my bathtub w/o worrying whether I’m gonna break my leg or hip, sounds wonderful. This would be the first “fixer-up” I would do. The rest of my home would be fixed up also to accomadate my physical being. You don’t know how happy the idea of being able to have a little more quality of life makes you feel so much better about life.
I wish all participants the best of luck & to the prize patrol, have a safe trip wherever destiny follows.
