What Would You Do If YOU Were Set For Life?

Hey PCH Blog friends!

Hopefully by now you’ve heard about our upcoming SuperPrize, $7,000 A Week For Life!  That’s quite a hefty amount that’ll pay out week after week!  I can’t even imagine what that would really feel like, but I think the best way to sum it up is that you’d be SET FOR LIFE!

7KAWFL

Can you imagine what it would be like?  Not having to worry about anything?  Your bills would always be paid on time! You wouldn’t have to worry about cutting out coupons or trying to find the best deals! You could buy whatever presents your family subtly hints at!  The possibilities are endless!

For me, being Set For Life would mean living life at my own pace.  You know what I mean?  There are just some days you want to relax and take it easy…but of course it is on those days that the reality is “go-go-go!”  And then there are days where I like being busy, but my body (or tired brain!) just doesn’t want to cooperate!  So being Set For Life means I can just do what I feel like doing, WHEN I feel like doing it!

The other day, I decided to walk around the PCH offices and ask some of my fellow co-workers what they would do if they were “Set For Life.”  Why don’t you watch this video and hear what they had to say?!

Ha-ha!  Well of course my fellow PCH employees can’t win the big SuperPrize (darn it!), but it was fun to make this video.  Nick says he wishes he didn’t have to work so many hours!  Man, I know how he feels!  Working so much really takes a lot out of you!  Then there’s Nicole, and her plans for world travel.  That’s something that I’m sure a lot of you out there would probably do if YOU won the $7,000 A Week For Life SuperPrize!  I’m really jealous I didn’t think of Bryan’s idea of just sitting on a porch!  Now that’s ambition! ;-)  And how about Val and his rocket pack plans, huh?  His idea was so funny, I had to see if I could try and help him make it true…well, in video form at least!

As I’ve written this blog, I’ve had a lot of fun thinking about this question.  I can’t wait to see who will be our next Publishers Clearing House winner, so we can find out what THEY’LL do with their new life!

-Matt K
PCH Creative

P.S. Oh yeah, so what would YOU do if you were Set For Life?  Your answer can be as crazy as you want!  Think BIG!

My wife and I would retire early and not have to live paycheck to paycheck which happens when you are in education. We would pay off our current home and buy a cabin in the mountains which would serve as a family getaway home to save them money. We would travel around the U.S. in a RV with our two rescue dogs. We would like to re-open the animal rescue place that closed near us.

That sounds like a slice of Heaven to me.

Thanks,

If my family was set for life, man-o-man. It would be a dream come true, I would pay off my debt, my bills, my car, and get headstones for mom, and grandma. I would pay off my granddads mortgage- it would be a mazing gift for him. I will be able to get birthday gifts and such for family members. Christmas present-trust me this list will never end lol. I would save for my children’s college. I would donate to a few charities. I would personally go get my own vehicle maybe a Tahoe/explorer a newer model. I would wait to my lease is up and then move to a insect free home haha. I dream big all the time. I think its crazy though, dreaming of something that will never happen—> that’s what my family say anyways. I might be living in a fantasy world. I guess I have a great imagination. I can get tutoring for my daughter. oh the things do not stop. my son likes playing basketball. maybe when I move into my nice luxurious home, I can build a court. =). Maybe in the next years. I can even have the wedding I always dreamt about. I got to have money for all these things I am talking about =). well it is not so bad to dream, its fun and I play all the games. Maybe one day I can meet Dave, Danielle & Todd. Good luck all….xoxo signed NRD….1love

I’d also make time to travel to Europe and maybe Australia.

Hi! Here I am in Dreamland again! Okay, so hubby would give 2 weeks notice/retire for the second time. I would purchase land and build my dream house or buy it if already built. I know approximately the area that I would be looking (thanks to the internet I have started this!). And of course it would be furnished with “made to last” items. Hubby would get a special ordered truck..everything he wants.. I don’t care if it includes a kitchen sink! He deserves it. Kids would all get what they need to make life easier on them. Traveling would be on our list.. family first and friends, that in itself is a lot of traveling. We would also go to places we have never been. Alaska would be on the top of the list, (for hubby), then Hawaii for me (and at this time we have friends there). Germany and Denmark for our anniversary (never quite made it back as planned). And I would buy as much land as possible as an investment for the future generations. I could go on, but reality is calling…or should I say the laundry is. :)

Good morning Matt K., PCH Creative for that very funny letter to all of us!!! I love the jet pack dream, but I really like all of there dreams too and there would be a million and one things that I would want to do if I were to win the $7,000.00 a week for life prize from PCH!!! I know that the odds are against me but I still keep on entering everyday in hopes that one day my number will be picked and I will win a SUPER MEGA Prize from PCH!!! So I will keep on hoping, praying and dreaming about winning SUPER MEGA BIG from PCH!!!!

I would make sure my husband retires early and I would keep my part time job, we would do what any one would do travel around the world, invest in properties, and our family and community, but live a very simple life and just enjoy every moment of it. One of the things I would love to do is go to the Olympic Games with my family, I would love to see the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in NY. Well I could go on and on but I will not bore you with all of my dreams of what I would do if I ever won a SUPER MEGA Prize from PCH. I have written them all before and if you would like to look please look me up on your PCH website.

Well Matt K., I know that you all work very hard and I totally appreciate it, so I do hope you all get some rest soon!!!

Ok PCH family, I’m in my Dream mode. I just woke up and was told I’ll never NEED to work again. After thanking God as you know I will and hugging PCH TEAM, I’d call my children. After all that I call my Job and let them know I just won the sweepstakes from PCH and I need to quit my job. I don’t want to keep a job that someone else may need. THEN the fun begins,1.I’d get all my bills together and pay them off. 2. Pray my dream home is still available and pay cash for my home. 2. Make sure I pay my tithes. 3. Talk to someone on the classes and get all the information to run an non profit org. 4. Make sure I have money in an interest earning account, that will not be touched. 5, Talk to my children about other opportunities that we’ve always wanted to do together, that benefit them and others….Thank you for asking

If I were Set For Life…. after taking care of some things in my family, and then helping some of my community…. I would get spend the rest of my days doing, what I have along my path learned how to look for…..and that is something that truly started with Publisher’s Clearing house one day back in Autumn of 1988 …. I saw my first rainbow! It was such a profound moment in my life; that it changed, Forever, how I choose to live; even to this day. That day also came with with money in my mailbox and my first entry from Publisher’s Clearing House. I have entered every chance I was able, snail mail to internet, though not always consist, because Life Happens! along my own little path i learn before I could see a rainbow, I had to believe the really existed. Today, I expect to see them therefore I really do.
So to answer the question; if I was SET FOR LIFE, (after doing all the responsible stuff) I would go buy me a brand NEW SOUPED UP ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR and grab my life-long best friend by the hand and we’d go off CHASING RAINBOWS. I had to show HIM how to even look. But now that he knows how we witnessed not 1 but 5 rainbows this month and we never left our community ! Hopefully we could bring rainbows, or at least teach one or two others, along our path of chasing them, how to believe that rainbows even exist.
I would write and chase my rainbows with my bestest friend with no worries for once in our lives. What a nice thought that is….gives me my own HopeOn.

Honestly if I were set for life… I would first off buy a car so I can get my son to and from the cancer centers for his treatments. I would pay off all bills. I would get myself into a home and have rooms for both of my kids they deserve that. I would help out family friends and even strangers with whatever they were in need of that I could help with. I would be able to get dental insurance. I would donate to finding a cure for all cancers. There is a lot I would do to help others out. I would also Help either find a cure or fund finding a cure for Autism. SO YOU ALL HAVE TO COME TO UTAH THIS TIME!!!!!! specifically my home well my dads home but my home none the less. I am beginning to feel like you all don’t love us out here since 98% of your draws are east coast.

So, what do you think, if I won, would anyone like to go travelling?

My husband pretty much already answered this but he forgot one part which is to sponsor families to come to Florida. Many people have not been to this wonderful state and can’t afford to. We would love to enable families to come here on us.
I would definitely donate more than I am able to now.
I would pay off my grandmother’s bills from her mastectomy and my dad’s from his car accident.
I would love to re-open the pet rescue place that closed down.
Also I would like to respond to something Natalie wrote earlier about going to Europe. It is fantastic over there. Being in education you aren’t paid a whole lot so my husband and I pick up part-time jobs. He works 3 jobs and I work two so that we have enough. One year we went to Europe, Italy and Norway are our favorites. We saved for many years in order to go but it was well worth it. So Natalie if you can- GO!

When I play the games and win entries to the sweepstakes, sometimes they say 5,000 and others 7,000 but Im always seeing the same 3080 sweepstakes number. So which is it? And when are the giveaways for the token redemption entries? None of the dates are listed.

Hi Nadene, PCH has many sweepstakes and many of these sweepstakes share the same giveaway number. However, they’re considered separate sweepstakes so the $5,000 a Week For Life sweepstakes is separate from the $7,000 Every Week For Life sweepstakes. Rest assured, they’re legitimate PCH sweepstakes.

Drawings for the Redemption Center giveaways are held at the end of each month. Winners will receive an email. For details, please read the Official Rules of the drawing you’re interested in.

well if i won this prize i would finally have my car fixed! probably get rid of the rust taken out as well ole rusty might need a new name afterwords. spend money on my curiosity and filling the gap in my ignorance so it would be for education, exploring and tinkering.
after rusty is fixed i would do a road trip across the 48 states from west to east or until i find something else calling me to do something else. the rest of the cash have my brother decide. though i have great ideas and uses for the money in helping neighborhoods and make jobs for the unwanted i.e. people with lack of experience and people with criminal records the thought of having money scares me probably the same if not more then having no money. overall i don’t know what i’ll actually do until it happens. until your arrival i’ll be studying for FSOT this coming october. i would say this would be a happy belated birthday present if i won. wish me luck.

I will be 70 years old on November 26th. I have been entering PCH sweepstakes and buying their offerings for over 45 years but have never won so much as one red cent in all those years. The odds of winning with PCH are horrible. It’s virtually impossible to win, so don’t get your hopes up kids. On the other hand I keep entering just to see if by the time all PCH sweeps end for good or I die, whichever comes first, I will win even so much as a $5 bill. It would be nice to have an $8000 per week retirement. What a Birthday gift that would be!!!!

As a mother who has experienced the devastating effects of bullying, I could make sure my son will always be taken care of. My son was forced to leave school twice due to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and as a result never graduated from school or received his GED due to testing anxiety, he is 24 years old and is not qualified to get a job and his life is going nowhere. This would be the answer to my prayers.

If by a strange chance i might win something from PCH the very first thing i will do for everyone is to print and send ya all a copy of my book. The reasons why are because as a nurse i know so much information that is no longer being passed down which is not right. Back when i went through nursing we were taught to help out others as well as there families the best we knew how to. Not now which is sad because it is all about the bottom dollar now! And i am not kidding at all when i say i know more than three ways to get Free Medical care and over 50 ways to get Free or very low cost medications. And i don’t kid around with this stuff at all and NONE of the ways are MEDICAID at all !!! I’m sorry i grew up in a large medical family and i know how the bills can eat away at people. But i am doing this because i am fed up with the medical field not telling anyone about these things so i am doing this. I know a great many of you have medical issues as well as a great many people that i know online and it seems fitting to do this now. So please ya all take care & please ride safe, Luann

If I were ever selected and was “set for life”
I would buy my own place and move me and my 14 month old son into a place of our own , a place to call home . My parents and family have helped so much with everything if it weren’t for them we would never make it . I would repay them and let them live a bit easier for a while . I’ve just recently learned my great grandmother was a PCH fanatic ! We STILL have a few of her old trinkets she ordered from PCH ! my mother informed me that she mailed application after application in hopes of being a winner as well . Maybe I’ll be the next winner !!

To all the winners! Congratulations!!!!!! I admired all of the winners for their reactions. I put myself in their footsteps imagining how I would react. You donot know until it happens to you. I know for a fact, if it happens to me; my life will change forever at that moment. I know I will be shocked, scream out loud where the neighbors, friends and family may call the police thinking I may need to be admitted when I am finished from screaming, crying out loud, jumping, rolling over the lawn, get up, dancing, however, pleading not to put me in a stray jacket for being overwhelmed. Lord, I had a dream of becoming a millionaire. I would like to one day share this story with the world to actually state; “I dreamed it and not I believe it actually happened to me. I have worked thirty four years and each year become afraid to retire. Not with the government furlough shutdown; makes you want to stay longer. I would like to have the opportunity to believe that dreams really happens. If I was surprised by the PCH; I would not be ashamed if they caught me in pajamas, scarf around my head, I know I will not think about how I am dressed. I can tell all of my co-workers which they call me lucky all the time, they will state, you always stated you will be a millionaire or you dreamed it! PCH make it happen so that I can blessed others, donate and share to all at the same time when I am blessed! I can live without fear knowing that the security of living is a blessing for not worrying about anything! I can vacation, do as I please, live happy and have the opportunity to choose retirement, etc.

I would help multiple American organizations that I’ve admired over the years. I will then focus on family and friends needs, not wants. Then I’ll do something for my new family! When you’re “Set for Life” why not help others first?!

$7,000 for life is a great responsibility — I’ve lived over three quarters of my life — past the 30, 40, 50 and well into the age of 60s, so what would I do — share — foster children home — support — college student — give — charity — buy — home for self — feed — the hungry — shelter — the homeless

First of all i don’t have that kind of luck what so ever so someone would have to pinch me and tell me it was true. But the very first thing i would do is to publish my book and send a copy to everyone in the US because i have so much medical information from free medical care to even how to get free medication. This is the information that was sent to our elected officials when they were debating the health care law. And yes i name names to. This way everyone can see i was very busy trying to get them to change there health care law but as we all see instead they voted themselves out of it! This is why everyone needs this information. I am not kidding when i say i know this information as well as the health care law and what everyone of us will be facing. I come from a very large medical family and you really know things are going badly when your mother who has ran both hospitals and nursing homes from the late 1960′s gets out of doing what she loved to do !!! And she was 72 years old at the time when she said no more because this law will hurt everyone. And this is not a joke. So if by a strange odd chance i might win something from PCH i make this promise to everyone in the U.S. because i have this much information. So please everyone take care and please ride safe, Luann
