Prize Patrol Gives Back to The ASCPA® with $35,000!
Yesterday you heard all about our first Give Back delivery of $25,000 to the USO. And today, I’m here to tell you all about our 2nd Give Back donation, which was a $35,000 Big Check to the ASCPA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®).
This was my FIRST Prize Patrol experience, and I couldn’t have been more excited for it. The fact that I was getting to hand-deliver such a huge donation to a charity like the ASPCA, one of the very BEST animal welfare organizations, made it even more special.
Travelling through NYC (where, if you haven’t heard, the weather has been QUITE snowy lately), proved a bit challenging. We had to wrap that Big Check up good to make sure it stayed in PERFECT shape. But it was nothing that a plastic bag, some twine and a neat carry handle couldn’t take care of. The ASPCA does SO much great work to protect our furry friends that we had to do everything we could to protect their Big Check
The ASPCA® was the first humane organization in the western hemisphere, and is a national leader in the areas of anti-cruelty, community outreach and animal health services. They work across the nation to rescue these animals in need, including helping to rescue and protect victims of animal cruelty, working to help at-risk animals – like those in shelters across the country – and providing resources for pet parents.
We at Publishers Clearing House thank the ASPCA® for their exceptional work, and for being part of the 2013 Give Back. And of course, we thank you, the fans, for helping us make a difference with this campaign.
