What’s the Kindest Thing Anyone Has Ever Done for You?

Christmas is almost here, fans and friends!

The holiday season is the giving season – a time for goodwill, for reaching out and helping, and for kindness.

Kindness

People always seem nicer during the holidays – they smile more, they seem to give more to charity – indeed, things are just merrier this time of year.

Of course, kindness isn’t limited to the holidays – some folks seem to make kindness their goal in life. Take this blog for example. I always smile when I see our fans helping each other out in the “comments” section. If someone has a problem, or is feeling particularly down, another fan will post a helpful comment. I think our PCH Blog fans are some of the kindest people on the planet!

I asked my fellow blog writers what’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for them, and here’s what they said:

Marybeth H. said, “Many years ago, I was out of work and scared, with very little money and no marketable skills. A very kind person took a chance on me, and recommended me for an entry-level copy position. I’ve been able work ever since.”

Laurel U. said, “Here at PCH, people always doing nice things for each other — like just now, a coworker gave me delicious chocolates (yum!)! And, I remember when Gerri G. gave me a high heel tape dispenser after I told her how much I love her high heel shoes. Gosh, did that make me feel special! I am truly thankful for my family, friends and coworkers who make every day more enjoyable — during the holiday season and always!”

The kindest thing anyone ever did for me? That’s easy! I used to work at PCH in the 1990s, and I left the company for the position of Mommy to my two beautiful daughters. However, a year-and-a-half ago, my old boss from the 1990s, David, asked me if I wanted to come back to work at PCH. I told him, yes, I was ready, and here I am, having a blast writing about our amazing products and contributing to this super blog! Thanks for thinking of me, David!

Many of you have expressed a desire to do kind deeds if you have the good fortune of becoming our next SuperPrize winner. I’ve read with great admiration your desire to pay it forward – whether it’s helping your families, children, veterans, the homeless, the sick, the needy … the list goes on and on.

The good news is, you could make that dream of helping others come true if you enter to win! Imagine all the amazingly kind things YOU could do for others if you become our next millionaire!

With all my best wishes for a joyous Holiday Season,
Debbie K.

  1. Teach me to love without limits! Experience faith in the unseen and you know that every promise will be fulfilled – laughter, grandkids, my dad, and my son Joshua – RIP

  2. The kindest thing anyone has ever done for me was paid for my stuff in the store when I didn’t have enough money to pay . I’m in it to win it.
