If you won $7,000 A Week For Life, would you quit your job or keep working?

Dear Reader,

Close your eyes and imagine for a moment that the Prize Patrol has just handed you a BIG CHECK with your name on it, along with the words “$7,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE WINNER!” You scream. You jump up and down, maybe do a cartwheel down the street. And, after you catch your breath (or regain consciousness), you start to think… Wow! I don’t have to go to work tomorrow. Or, the next day… or the day after that.

So, what do you do next?

Well, you could call in sick. You could take a last-minute personal day. Or, you could say that an elephant escaped from the circus — hopelessly clogging up traffic for miles upon miles — and there’s no possible way for you to come in!

But at some point, when you’ve run out of excuses, you would ultimately have to decide… Will I quit my job or keep working? Hmmm…

Quit your job or keep working

It’s a question that many big PCH winners must face, one that directly affects the future. And while you may think you’ve already got the answer, may I ask… have you considered the following?

KEEP WORKING:

  • Do you love what you do? The luckiest people in the world are those who go to work with a big smile on their face every day, knowing that the work they do makes a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Jobs like this are more than a paycheck — they’re a lifestyle.
  • Are you in good company? No, I’m not talking about your employer (although that does matter). I’m talking about the men and women you probably spend more time with than your own family. If you can call these people real friends, whom you genuinely care about and look forward to seeing daily, then I’d say “yes” — you’re in good company.
  • Want to challenge yourself? Let’s say you’ve invested time, money, blood, sweat and tears to reach this point in your career. Are you really willing to give it all up overnight? Ask yourself if you wouldn’t rather rise to the challenge and keep going/working to see how high you can reach! The best part: you can do it without fear of getting fired.

QUIT YOUR JOB:

This one’s really easy! If you answered “no” or “HECK, NO” to any of the questions above then go grab a red marker, a sticky note, and all of the strength you can muster to write your boss a note:

Quit your job

After all, LIFE IS TOO SHORT to spend your days unhappy — especially if you’re a $7,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE PRIZE WINNER! Use the money to retire early, use it to pursue your dreams, or use it to give you the fearless confidence to keep working in a job you love. But whatever you do, if you win, use the PCH prize money to help you find the financial freedom and happiness you deserve.

Tell us in the comments: Would you quit your job or keep working? And why? And don’t forget, if you want to win, you HAVE to enter! Enter today, enter tomorrow, enter every chance you get. There’s less than a month until our October 23rd prize event!

Remember, our prize
Good luck to you,

P.S. Don’t forget: our October 23rd prize event is what we call a “Special Early Look”. We’d LOVE to give away $7,000 A Week For Life, so of course we’re hoping that there will be a matching winning number (hey, that’s another reason to enter every chance you get!) But if there’s not, we still promise to award a ONE MILLION DOLLAR PRIZE on October 23rd. Pretty amazing, right? Even the lottery doesn’t do that!

  1. I’m disabled so most definitely I would not be so stressed out. I would pay my chapter 13 completely off, make a weekly donation to a charity. Buy myself and my son a place on a about 2 Akers of land, and animals for my therapy and maybe have a farm. Help my mother and my family as well as people who really need it.
