Happiness is A Big Check from PCH

A year ago I told you about a new puppy at our house: Lily.  Immediately she brought much happiness into our lives – reminding us of that quote from the classic comic strip “Peanuts”: “Happiness is a warm puppy.”

While Lily is now a year old, she is still a puppy at heart and so full of energy that she wants to play with me all the time.  The solution?  Another puppy – so she can play with it instead of me.  So without further ado, meet her new little brother: Harry.  We figured if one puppy can produce happiness, think of what two puppies can do!  So far the playful duo are an absolute delight.

You know what else produces extreme happiness?  I can tell you — because I’ve seen it in-person close to a thousand times: a Publishers Clearing House “winning moment.” That’s when our Prize Patrol presents roses, balloons and a Big Check worth thousands, even millions of dollars to a lucky sweepstakes winner.  Besides total shock and frequent tears, there is immense happiness.

Good news spreads quickly, and family and friends come running to see all the excitement.  “OMG” they exclaim. “I’ve seen it on TV, but I never expected to see something like this so close to home!  Congratulations!!!”

These bystanders, many of whom have been skeptics about the PCH Sweepstakes, realize they have been kind of dumb passing up opportunities to win a Big Check like the one they see in front of them.  They decide right there: “Hey, why should someone else have all the luck?  I’m going straight to pch.com and enter!”

That’s the spirit!

On behalf of the entire Prize Patrol, let me just say that we can’t wait to deliver another humongous dose of happiness – the kind that affords some of the finer things of life plus financial security – to another lucky winner next Thursday. If you entered our Sweepstakes on time, then we could arrive at your door and announce, “You are a winner in the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes!” Wouldn’t that be nice?

Best of luck,

Dave Sayer
PCH Prize Patrol Ambassador
