“WISH YOU WERE HERE” DREAMS COME TRUE

Years ago you might have received a postcard from a friend or relative on vacation somewhere wonderful.   Pictured on one side might have been an exotic land or an exciting city, and a greeting on the other side might have said “Wish you were here!”  And you’d think, “Oh YES!  How I wish I was there.”

These days postcards from faraway places are being replaced by emails or postings with photos on social media.  But the contents often produce the same reaction: “Oh YES!  How I wish I was there!  Except there’s one little problem: I can’t afford it!”

Well, as a founding member of the PCH Prize Patrol, I have made hundreds of Big Check deliveries.  And you know what is at the top of many winners’ wish lists when we ask them what they’d love to do with the money?   You guessed it:  “Take a trip!”

Many winners tell us they haven’t had a vacation in years.  Some even tell us they’ve never had an honest-to-goodness vacation.  No wonder they want to get away!   Yes, at first they want to pay some pesky bills; but then a change of scenery is mighty appealing!

Wish you were here

How about you?  If you won a Big Check from Publishers Clearing House, would travel be high on your list? Maybe to a sunny resort?  How about a mountaintop for its scenic grandeur — or its ski slopes?  Or a river cruise?  Or a fun-filled reunion with loved ones thousands of miles away?

Dream Vacation

These may be holidays you dream about.  And you know what?  Dreams can and do come true – as we see over and over again when we arrive at some lucky person’s door with roses, balloons and a Big Check worth thousands, even millions of dollars!

Of course you can’t win if you don’t enter the PCH Sweepstakes!  So make sure you take advantage of the daily opportunities to win at pch.com and our big family of websites.

If you win a Big Check from PCH, you might not have to send loved ones a postcard saying “Wish you were here.”  You might be able to just take them along!

All the best.
