Ladybug, rainbow, horsehoe, clover and rabbits foot luck charms

What Are Your Lucky Charms for Entering Publishers Clearing House?

Horseshoes, rabbit feet, four-leaf clovers, oh my! There are so many charms we think of when we chat about LUCK!

It’s St. Patrick’s Day, where we celebrate many things, including the luck of the Irish! As a person of Irish background, I think I’m lucky to be able to write this blog today and ask you what YOUR lucky charms are!

What does being lucky mean to you? For some, when things go right they say it was a “lucky day!” For others, they think that lucky charms can influence the outcome!

How about you? Do you have anything that you consider lucky? For me, I have a special copper figurine that I’ve had since I was just five years old! I’ve had it on my desk through childhood, in college and now here at work at Publishers Clearing House! I’m not sure if it’s a lucky charm, but things don’t feel “complete” without it in front of me. At the very least, it reminds me of the journey I’ve had in life, and to always make the most of every situation!

Another PCH Creative person I know is very into his favorite football team, and the day of their games he’s always wearing his favorite jersey, complete with the team colors!  He says it’s partly to let people know he supports the team, but also a little bit because he thinks it’s lucky! Of course he wants his favorite team to win, so who can blame him for wearing it?

How about you? Any lucky charms horseshoes, rabbit feet, or four-leaf clovers that you think bring you good fortune?

Whether you believe luck is real or not, the reason why people do this is because they want to succeed. They want their favorite team to win, they want to accomplish great things in life…and if you have your lucky charms with you near the computer, you want to win from Publishers Clearing House!

As I said above, my “lucky charm” reminds me to make the most of every situation. And while I can’t participate in our contests, your lucky charm can remind you to make sure you take every opportunity to enter that you can! More entries mean more chances, which means you’re truly giving it your all! Why wait for “lady luck” to make your dreams come true…make your OWN luck!

So on this day of lucky celebrations, take the time to enter as much as you can…and if you don’t have a lucky charm “PCH Reminder” near you, maybe think about getting one! And if you already DO have one, tell us what your lucky charm is in the comments below! We want to know, how you use them to get your luck up for Publishers Clearing House!
