Good news is that if you are stumped for what to start cooking up next, there are plenty of great recipes you can find right here on PCHSearch&Win that’ll satisfy your need for something different and delicious.
Try An Unexpected Twist On An Old Favorite
Trust me when I tell you, PCH fans, sometimes the best recipes are found by complete accident! A few weeks ago I had been searching for a simple pasta and broccoli dish on PCHSearch&Win . I tend to make this dish a lot because it’s one of my favorites and it’s super quick and easy to make, which is great after a late work day or an extra hour at the gym. As I was looking for a way to add a little something to the normal plain recipe I’ve been making for years, I ended up stumbling upon this tasty looking recipe that called for pasta, broccoli, olive oil AND sweet Italian sausage.
Luckily I had just bought a package of sweet sausage from the supermarket so, of course, I had to give this one a try. The recipe was actually perfect for what I was looking for! It wasn’t too far off from what I typically make (just a few added spices and, of course, the sausage) and it tasted absolutely delicious.
Try A “No Bake” Dessert
Yes, fans, you read that right. A delicious dessert that requires absolutely NO baking whatsoever. The first time I came across one of these recipes was a few nights ago when I was in the mood for something sweet and fruity, but with the streak of hot and humid weather lately, I had no desire to even think about turning on the oven. I started searching PCHSearch&Win for quick dessert recipes that used some of the ingredients I had on hand and all of these “no bake” recipes started popping up. I clicked on a few of them and before I knew it, I had found the perfect recipes using basic ingredients and that would be ready in just 10 minutes!
This delicious Strawberry Banana Cookie Cup used just a few simple ingredients – strawberries, 1 sliced banana, vanilla wafer cookies and whipped cream. I first crushed in a bag about 10 of the cookies and split the crumbles in half. I layered the bottom of the bowl with the crumbles, piled my fruit on top and then added in the whole wafer cookies to the sides. Top it all off with some whipped cream and you have a delicious and crunchy dessert in under 10 minutes!
WOW! Don’t these dishes look super-tasty, fellow blog readers? They were both so tasty that I can’t even decide which was my favorite. I can’t wait to try some more recipes in the next few weeks.
