Fairy Tales Can Come True!

For centuries, people who were not “well off” have fantasized about turning insignificant things into objects of wealth.   In their fairy tale “Rumpelstiltskin,” the Brothers Grimm wrote about a miller’s daughter spinning straw into gold.  Jack (of “Beanstalk” fame) stole a hen that laid eggs that turned out to be gold.  Folklore is full of such imaginings.

Folks today are not too different.  We all fantasize about finding “a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.”  No wonder lottery ticket sellers and gaming casinos are such popular destinations.

But why leave home?  Fairy tales can come true and you can go for that “pot of gold” from the place where you are sitting right now. Your computer offers you the online opportunity to enter the fabulous Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes “day in and day out” without even getting up from your chair.

I know that all of you would like that PCH “pot of gold.”  How do I know?  I read your comments right here on the PCH Blog — and not only those: I’ve read hundreds of comments on the new “Dave Sayer – PCH Prize Patrol” page on Facebook.  I see what you “like,” and I can tell that you’d LOVE a surprise visit from the Prize Patrol – with roses, balloons and a Big Check with YOUR NAME on it.  Well, I’m not one of the Brothers Grimm; but I can assure you – like that old song “Young At Heart” says, “Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to YOU!”

If you haven’t yet visited the new “Dave Sayer – PCH Prize Patrol” page on Facebook, just click here – and you can follow my postings and read what the Prize Patrol is up to.  It’s fun, exciting, and – who knows? – it could lead to a life-changing “PCH winning moment.”

Wishing you the best of luck. And remember, fairy tales can come true!

P.S. Stay tuned to the PCHBlog! We’ll be announcing another new PCH Prize Patrol page from one of your favorite Prize Patrol members very soon!

Spot A Publishers Clearing House Scam With Danielle’s Tips

Hi everyone, it’s Danielle with the Prize Patrol!  Did you know that I have a Danielle Lam PCH Prize Patrol Fan Page on Facebook where I post behind the scenes insight about our Sweepstakes Headquarters, plus updates from the road? It’s also the PERFECT place for me to talk to fans about our Sweepstakes, winning moments and life overall. I’m so happy that the page has grown to over 42,000 “LIKES” – WOW!!!

I personally think that being a Prize Patrol member is the most fun, rewarding, exciting job there is — and clearly other people do too, because there are people PRETENDING to be ME on Facebook! And I do not want any of you to get fooled because it’s not really me, it’s a Publishers Clearing House scam! Now they say imitation is the best form of flattery, but THIS is certainly not the case.  These pretenders are Facebook SCAMMERS that try to dupe our fans on Facebook into sending them sensitive information or money to claim prizes. It makes me so angry because the REAL Prize Patrol would never do that!

I want to do EVERYTHING I can to make sure our fans do NOT get scammed through these Facebook scammers, so here are easy tips to follow:

#1 – The ONLY legitimate PCH Fan pages are pages that I personally LIKE: Publishers Clearing House, PCHSearchAndWin, PCHgames, PCHlotto, PCHtips, Candystand.com, Dave Sayer PCH Prize Patrol, Alan Sterling At PCH, Jussie Wilder At PCH, Laura Wolfe At PCH, Victoria Zimmerman At PCH and Deborah Holland. If it’s not liked by me: It’s a Publishers Clearing House scam!

#2 – We don’t send friend requests on Facebook.  If you receive a friend request from someone on the Prize Patrol or anyone saying they work for us: It’s a Publishers Clearing House scam!

#3 – The Prize Patrol DOES NOT send private messages on Facebook. If you receive an IM or Message, it is NOT the real Prize Patrol: It’s a Publishers Clearing House scam!

#4 – We NEVER notify winners on Facebook. If you receive any winner notifications on Facebook, you guessed it: It’s a Publishers Clearing House scam!

With these simple rules, it should be easy for you to identify Facebook scammers.  If you EVER have any questions though about whether something is a Publishers Clearing House scam or not, I AM HERE FOR YOU!  Just go to my Danielle Lam PCH Prize Patrol Page on Facebook and write on my wall – or you can post a comment here on the blog!

Got Questions About Our Online Sweepstakes? Ask Me, Jussie!

Hello, PCH Online Sweepstakes fans and blog readers alike! While I’ve interacted with many of you already, I don’t think I’ve had the opportunity to properly introduce myself. My name is Jussie Wilder, and I began working at Publishers Clearing House in the middle of March in 2012. Working as the Social Media Content Coordinator has been a real “prize,” thus far. I’ve learned loads and have met many cool people – at our beautiful brick and mortar building, and through my online presence. In fact, Victoria Zimmerman and I work together each day to answer your questions about the PCH Online Sweepstakes! Got questions? I’m here to help!

In addition to being here to answer your questions on PCH’s various Facebook and Twitter pages, I’m also responsible for posting those supremely informative and always-entertaining articles to the PCHTips website. One of the first articles I posted while working here was “What Does Eyelid Twitching Mean? Did you know that it is often caused by three things I’m sure many of you are familiar with? I won’t tell you the answers here – you’ll have to go and find them yourself in the article! When you’ve figured it out, check out the other articles like “Why You Need To Get A Handle on Stress” and “Tips for Living a Happier Life”. And of course, you know what to do if you’ve got questions. Just ask me!

Other than that, if you are familiar with the Jussie Wilder At PCH Fan Page on Facebook, you probably already know that I am an immense music head – and while I love being here to answer your questions about the Online Sweepstakes, PCHSearch&Win, the Prize Patrol, scams and the Big Check, I also love chatting about music with all of you every chance I get!

I can’t wait to see what the future brings for me here at PCH, and I’m thrilled to share it with all of you! So how about it…who here has got questions for me? Comment below and let me know!
