Television is an important source of news and information. And right now there’s something airing on TV that may bring you the most life-changing news of all!

The new PCH TV commercials!!! That’s right. Just a few days ago, Publishers Clearing House started broadcasting our famous TV commercials — this time telling folks that we are AGAIN looking to award a $5,000 A Week “Forever” Prize. When? On February 28^th!

What happens when we award such a life-changing prize? If you win in our February 28^th Prize Event, you’ll get $5,000 a week for your life! Then after that, you’ll have someone you choose get $5,000 a week for their life, too! Now that’s how to leave a legacy for a loved one!

A Marathon Of PCH Prize Deliveries & Winning Moments

By now you probably know about our Million Dollar SuperPrize surprise presentation to Rory Bellamy of Cleveland, OH on Friday, November 30.  What a thrill that was for him – and for us.

But the days leading up to to November 30 were almost as thrilling for four other families as the PCH Prize Patrol covered thousands of miles on a marathon of prize deliveries and winning moments.

Monday took us to Mooresville, Indiana to surprise Judith Hernly with $10,000.00.  Alas, no one was home when we arrived.  But just as we were about to leave, her husband Frank drove in and — seeing the roses, balloons and Big Check — happily agreed to summon Judith home.  He reached her via cell phone and told her she just HAD to come home (even if it meant postponing her manicure appointment).  Twenty minutes later as Judith pulled into her driveway we were ready to knock her socks off.  And did we ever!  She was shocked and delighted and promised that the prize money would be put to good use.

On Tuesday morning we were in Athens, Texas to surprise Kathryn Spence with $10,000.00.

Again the winner wasn’t home; so we waited … and waited.   We took a pizza break and, upon our return, found Kathryn had arrived home from bible study and a visit to her hospitalized husband.  She had to restrain her four very excited dogs to accept the Big Check for which she was extremely grateful.  Kathryn says that while she has entered our sweepstakes for years, she was totally “caught off-guard” by our visit.

Tuesday afternoon we arrived in Plano, Texas and – hallelujah! – found our $15,000.00 winner Jeanne Medina at home.  Surrounded by family she was thrilled by the prize, especially since she said her bank account was down to almost nothing.  As we have seen countless times before, the Prize Patrol seems to arrive just in the nick of time to provide urgently needed money for household, health-related or – in this case – small business expenses.

Wednesday took us to Morehead, Kentucky to present a Big Check for $20,000.00 to Lloyd and Maxine Pennington.  When no one answered the door, we turned to a nearby house where we luckily found their daughter-in-law ready to help.  It turned out the two senior citizens were in the rear of their house and did not hear our knocking.  As you can read from the local newspaper’s coverage of the “winning moment,” the prize money was gratefully received.

Thursday was spent in transit to Cleveland to prepare for Friday’s SuperPrize presentation – which turned out to be a rousing finale to a spectacular week.

A Year In Review With 2011 PCH Mega Prize Winner, LeRoy Faulks!

Only 24 days until the Publishers Clearing House Mega Prize Event! Wow! Imagine getting a Big Check for $1 Million Plus $5,000.00 A Week For Life ― what would that be like?

I know someone who knows firsthand, last year’s Mega Prize winner, LeRoy Faulks! Danielle Lam of the PCH Prize Patrol Elite recently caught up with LeRoy and he had a lot to share during his “year in review”.

Danielle: You’ve been a PCH Millionaire for about a year now. Is it still as exciting as it was on November 30th, 2011?

LeRoy: Definitely yes!

Danielle: How has your life changed in the past year?

LeRoy: Not only were we able to secure our future financially, but we also helped our families (11 brothers and sisters, three children, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren), our Church and other charities. It is a good feeling to be able to see something you want or need, and buy it with little hesitation.

Danielle: Have you been able to realize any life-long dreams with your winnings?

LeRoy: We didn’t have any lifelong dreams, but now we dream and make it come true!

Danielle: Your “Winning Moment” has been featured in PCH TV commercials. Do people recognize you?

LeRoy: Absolutely! Old friends and some strangers do recognize us, and we take the opportunity to tell them about that wonderful day. Our winning moment was recently shown as a clue on Jeopardy, and that was absolutely fantastic. We got so many calls.

Danielle: What have you learned through this experience, LeRoy?

LeRoy: Beware of scams, sometimes you have to say no, and get professional financial advice.

Danielle: Is there anything you would like to tell PCH blog readers?

LeRoy: YES IT IS REAL, you can be a winner also. Never in our wildest dreams, did we think the PCH van would come to our home!

Danielle: What do you hope your legacy will be?

LeRoy: We would like our legacy to be that we remained faithful to God and true to family and friends.

That’s a legacy anyone would be proud of!

Oh, and in case you were wondering, LeRoy told us that the “Big Check” has found a new home in the Faulks’ living room!
