Good Luck With Number 13? PCHSearch Helps You Find It!

At Publishers Clearing House, we’re all about Good Luck, but Friday the 13th always seems to conjure up feelings of bad luck for people. If you’re one of those who believe FRIDAY the 13TH or the number 13 is unlucky, you have lots of company. Dr. Donald Dossey, the psychotherapist who coined the term paraskevidekatriaphobia – a morbid fear of Friday the 13th — estimates that as many as 21 million people around the world fear Friday the 13th in one way or another.

And when you consider that 2012 has had THREE of these crazy calendar days (January 13; April 13; July 13), EXACTLY 13 WEEKS APART…. Well it’s no wonder that your paraskevidekatriaphobia may be a little more enhanced this year!

But… Maybe we can change some of those bad luck vibes you feel around Friday the 13th into Good Luck vibes! I bet you didn’t know some pretty cool stuff has happened on the 13th of the month throughout history. I didn’t either until I got searching on PCHSearch. I found out all sorts of fun facts like…

  • 1861 – The first Pony Express reached Sacramento, California!
  • 1957 - Wham-O released the first Frisbee (as well as the Pluto Platter™!)
  • 1959 – The first Barbie doll went on sale!
  • 1976 – Dorothy Hamill won the Gold!
  • And just weeks ago – Matt Cain of the San Francisco Giants pitched the first perfect game in the franchise’s history!

Now how many of these special 13th occasions were actually Fridays? Why not go and satisfy your need to know with a quick search on PCHSearch. Who knows — just one search today could make this FRIDAY the 13th Good Luck for you! Your search might make you the lucky instant winner of $1,000.00 or maybe even $5,000 A Week “Forever” on August 31st! Remember, if you win the “Forever” prize event, you’d get $5,000 every week for YOU, then after that, $5000 every week for the life of someone you choose! I bet that would cure even the most severe paraskevidekatriaphobia!

So head to PCHSeach&Win now to get the answers you need. Remember: it’s quick, it’s easy. And it might just be lucky!

P.S. Speaking of focusing on how Friday the 13th can be lucky… I met my husband on Friday, February 13, 2002. Two years later, on Valentine’s Day, 2004, we were married! What happy Friday the 13th events have occurred in your life? Leave me a comment and share!

  5. As far as “Friday the 13th’ goes, 13 has always been a lucky nomber for me. On top of that – adding the letters up from my name equals 13 (Martin McNamee), the number of letters in my Baptism And Confirmation names (Jerome Michael) equals 13 and the month I was born in (June or “6″) in 1957 (7) equals 13!
