Celebrating Milk’s Favorite Cookie with PCHSearch&Win!

It’s the happiest of Wednesdays, searchers! Why, you ask?

Is it because we’ve made it through half the week already? Nope.

Is it because there are only two days left until the weekend? Nope!

It’s because today marks a very special birthday…the birthday of…THE OREO COOKIE!

That’s right, today is National Oreo Cookie Day, and I for one, certainly haven’t waited to start my celebration! Why would I? Like I need a day to celebrate my love for a cookie. Spoiler alert: I don’t.

The fact of the matter is that I love ALL kinds of cookies! I like to try out different recipes for new cookies all the time. A good friend of mine makes Pistachio Cream Cheese Cookies that don’t look (or even sound) the most appetizing, but I assure you, they’re delicious. I can whip up a mean batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies myself. And right here at PCH, the wonderful chefs in our cafeteria whip up a Double Chocolate Chip Cookie that is absolutely to die for. But I have to say, my heart belongs to Oreo.

Those classic chocolate wafers that gently hug their cream filling really do satisfy my nostalgic sweet tooth. I remember growing up, we always had Oreos in my house and they were my secret Saturday morning snack. I’d wake up and head downstairs to start off the day with my cartoons. I’d pour myself a glass of chocolate milk and sneak a handful of Oreos from the cookie jar. I’d look around to make sure no one was watching, even though I knew no one was, and I’d stuff those tasty little guys in the pockets of my robe before heading off to catch up on Garfield’s latest antics. No one seemed to notice that a good chunk of a sleeve of cookies would go missing on the weekends.

As I grew older, my palate seemed to refine itself and developed loves for things like sushi and spicy Mexican food. I found myself at restaurants ordering things like flan and tiramisu. What happened to the little girl who loved her Oreos? Had my love for “Milk’s Favorite Cookie” disappeared like a cookie thief in the night? No way! In fact, when I found out I’d be writing this blog, I headed to the grocery store to stock up on my research. Luckily, my “research materials” were 2 for $6! Talk about a good deal.

Of course, I tried not to pack away as many cookies as I could simply for the sake of research…because calories still exist. Also, the classic flavor didn’t seem to be one I could overdo any more. So what did this confused and slightly heartbroken blogger do? Easy…I headed to PCHSearch&Win!

I found a bunch of great Oreo related recipes that included milkshakes, cheesecakes and more! I watched old Oreo commercials from my childhood. I learned about the history of the Oreo. I even discovered new Oreo flavors. Mmmmmm! PCHSearch&Win helped me rekindle my love for my first and forever favorite cookie…and for that my tummy is eternally thankful :)

So, are you an Oreo lover like me? What’s your favorite way to eat one? Whether you like to dunk it, twist it, lick it or just plain eat it, today’s the day to celebrate the Oreo…and there’s no better way to do that than with PCHSearch&Win!

Enjoy searchers!

Why do you people at pch always send me sweepstakes, 1,000,000,10,000,000, Pick 5,Pick 6, Pick 7,#’s to fill out,for so many years now, and I buy, search, and even receive deals in the mail, but never get a call or any winnings at all??
Is this a total waste of my time?, Tell Me!
I am not going to post any lies about why I need the money… O just do!
It seems like the only winners are people who own homes, retired, or old and well off already!
Well I am old, retired and broke!…
I have bills and want to buy my wife and mother dream houses.
But I guess this is all either fake or for publicity…
I don’t need to post no sob story in order to receive any money from pch.
I just would like to finally win somethong nice in my life.

Oreo cookies and chocolate milk paid my way thru college. our dorm was a distance from the local
convenience store and I needed to make some money if I was going to be able to pay my next terms tuition. I was going to the convenience store for someone almost every night and I decided to start charging those who wanted me to buy something for them.

I put up signs on all the dorm floors and told any one that wanted my service to come to my room and fill out an order form that I made out with the
prices including cost of delivery.

From the first night I had to hire runners to handle all of the requests for service. The biggest and most popular order was for OREO COOKIES AND CHOCLATE MILK
