Hey PCH Fans!

Happy Monday! Have you ever heard of the saying “you learn something new every day”? I hope you have because this is one of my favorite sayings! I like it not only because it’s simple, but I really do think that people learn at least one new thing every single day whether they notice it or not! For example, I learned something really interesting just the other day…TODAY, December 2nd, is NATIONAL FRITTER DAY!

Don’t know what a fritter is? Not a problem, I didn’t know either! Thanks to PCHSearch&Win, I was brought to the site Wikipedia where I learned everything I needed to know! According to Wikipedia, a fritter is a fried food that consists of batter or breading and is stuffed with bits of meat, seafood, fruit, or other yummy ingredients! These delicious creations can be either savory or sweet depending on what you’re in the mood for!

Since I am new to the wonderful world of fritters, I decided to look up some top-notch fritter recipes to share with my family and friends! For all my dessert lovers out there, you’re going to absolutely ADORE this apple fritter recipe I came across from The Food Network. This recipe by the lovely Rachel Ray, takes a total time of 18 minutes to make from start to finish! That’s right! In just 18 short minutes, you could be on your way to apple fritter-heaven!

Fritters for dinner? Why not! This next fritter recipe that I found on Taste.com filled me in on how to make some delicious Vegetable Fritters! With ingredients like potatoes, zucchini, corn, carrots, and onions, these fritters won’t only give you a yummy meal, but a healthy one as well! Who knew fritters could be so fun?

Now that you know how fantastic National Fritter Day can be, we can move on to the really exciting part…this week’s line-up of PCHSearch&Win Instant Prizes! Listen up to see what you could be searching to win…

Ramona Ramsey, We have reached the rush
season which makes me think what do I need to do first. The shopping, write my cards ( I send out about 100 every Christmas) do I start the Christmas baking(to take to our family Christmas parties) finish the decorating, wrap the gifts I have bought, attend the programs that present the concerts of Christmas (which is really the most important) and enjoy the things that make this a joyous season and puts the Christ in Christmas. It’s a beautiful time to get the family together and thank God
for what we have. Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!
