I’d like to start by saying that I’ve been a fan of crossword puzzles for many years. In fact, I do the New York Times Crossword several times a week. I’ve even completed quite a few puzzles while cruising at 35,000 feet with the Prize Patrol on our way to surprise new PCH winners. I enjoy crosswords because they’re fun and I love the sense of accomplishment I feel when I finish one. But, did you know that crossword puzzles are more than just an enjoyable way to pass the time?
