PCH Scam Warning: Please Don’t Post Your Personal Information!

Greetings, fans and friends!

Two weeks from tomorrow, our third $5,000 a week “Forever” Prize is guaranteed to be awarded – and if you win, that would mean $5,000 a week for your life, plus after that, $5,000 a week for the life of someone you choose!

Are you excited? I’ll bet you are!

And you know who else is excited about Publishers Clearing House’s life-changing SuperPrize? The scammers who fraudulently pretend to be PCH, as well as some of our ‘real’ employees! Because they know that if they can “hook one in,” they’ll probably get rich too!

We care so much about YOU, our loyal fans and friends, that we can never say it too often: PLEASE DON’T POST YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ANYWHERE THE SCAMMERS CAN FIND IT!

PCH Scam Warning

Where can the PCH scammers find your personal information?

  • DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ON FACEBOOK!

As PCH SuperPrize award time nears, the scammers seem to take to Facebook like bees to honey. We’ve said it many times – the PCH Prize Patrol will never send you a friend request on Facebook – and yet, unfortunately many of our fans accept these ‘fake’ requests because it just seems so real!

  • DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ON ANY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES!

This includes Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.

  • DO NOT POST PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THIS BLOG!

Part of my job here at PCH is to read your blog comments, and sadly, I often see good folks like you posting personal information that could make the scammers take notice.

So, what do I mean by personal information? Here is what you need to know!

> DO NOT post your address! This goes for your home address, work address, and the addresses of any family members.

> DO NOT post your telephone number – your home number, cell number, office number or emergency contact number!

> DO NOT post your Social Security number – ever!

> DO NOT post personal information about your family members – especially your kids’ names and ages or where they go to school!

> DO NOT post any information you think the PCH Prize Patrol would need to find you! For example, one blog commenter posted the combination to the lock on his gate, so the Prize Patrol could gain entry to his property. Believe me, if the PCH Prize Patrol is looking for you, they WILL find you – the winner of our January $1,000,000 SuperPrize sure found that out!

**And this one’s VERY important!!**

> DO NOT post any information you find in a PCH mailing or email that scammers could use to their advantage. If you see any numbers on your entry-order form or in the body of an email – your I.D. number or your unique SuperPrize number – don’t post it for everyone to see! A clever scammer could come along and say, “Mr. or Ms. (insert your last name here), I see that your I.D. number for Giveaway 3080 was 1234567890! Well, congratulations! That’s the matching winner number in the PCH Sweeps, and you’ve won a million dollars!” Besides, PCH’s contest drawings are random, and posting any of your numbers will not give you an advantage to win!

Here at PCH, the safety and security of our fans, friends and customers is a top priority!

Please stay safe! We really care about you!!!

Sincerely,

Debbie K.
