The First Person I Would Help Is ________

If you’re like me, you’ve probably thought how awesome it would be to hear the words: YOU’RE OUR WINNER! There are a million things you could imagine doing with that BIG CHECK, and why not? It could be life-changing!

The good news is, there are so many great ways to get in to WIN at PCH! Dedicated PCH fans know to enter every day and every way, play games as often as possible, get your news and entertainment at PCHfrontpage and enjoy PCHkeno where you can shoot for big cash prizes. It’s so easy – and PCH is always FREE to enter and FREE to WIN!

But…back to how awesome it would be to WIN! Imagine that you’re at home, watching old re-runs on TV or sorting the laundry. Suddenly, the front doorbell rings and you open the door to (drum roll please…) THE PRIZE PATROL! They’ve come to award a BIG CHECK, and miracle of miracles…it has YOUR NAME ON IT!

Of course, you enjoy meeting the Prize Patrol Elite team members, toasting to your great good fortune, and smelling the beautiful flowers that they brought just for you, as PCH’s latest Millionaire. You’ll hang that check in your house where everyone can see it, and you’ll run to the bank with the smaller (but very real) check just as fast as you can.

But when your winning moment is over and you’ve had a chance to think of just what this will mean to you – and your loved ones, your community, and the world in general – what will your next thought be?

Mine would be: WHO DO I HELP FIRST? Now, of course, I can’t win since I’m an employee of PCH. But I can dream, right? I can picture myself holding a BIG CHECK worth $2,500 A Week For Life that’s Guaranteed for Award on 12/30 (now that’s the way to ring in the New Year right).

Even though I can’t actually win, I do still dream about having enough money to help others. So, how would I fill in the blank below?

The First Person I Would Help Is _______________.

Ida, my 87 year-old neighbor. Ida is proud and independent, but she doesn’t always have enough money at the end of the month for food, rent, or electricity. I’d make sure that was never a worry for her again.

Miss Kathy, a Kindergarten teacher at our local school. She buys school supplies, arts and crafts, healthy snacks and lots of other things for the kids out of her own paycheck. I’d make sure she (and the other teachers in the school) could keep doing this for the kids, but with my money and not theirs.

Reverend John, who runs the local Food Pantry. I’d make sure that his Food Pantry was well stocked and that no one was ever turned away hungry.

Sparky, a dog at my local animal shelter that needs surgery. He may not be an actual person, but that doesn’t mean I can’t help him.

ME! I could clear up my debts, make sure my kids are set for college, and help my large extended family.

Yes, I know – that’s 5 firsts that I just listed in response to that question! But the thing is, if you’re lucky enough to become the next PCH MILLIONAIRE, you can finally afford to help those who need it most!

Now that I’m done dreaming, I’d like to ask you to answer the same question: The First Person I Would Help is __. Think about how you’d fill in the blank and then leave us a comment below. Let us know who you’d help if you were to WIN BIG!

Good luck,

Maria S.
