Today is Saturday, which means it’s time for the weekly “Danielle’s Desk” video on PCH’s Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter pages – where Danielle of the PCH Prize Patrol answers questions from our fans.

That’s a really good question … and just to make sure all of our fans and friends know the answer, here are some of the key points that Danielle emphasizes in this video:

• If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House or claiming to be a PCH Employee who says that you won a prize but in order to claim it, you must …
• buy a gift card or a money order
• pay a shipping, handling or delivery fee
• prepay taxes
• pay a deposit
• give a credit card number, bank information or your personal information
• call a toll-free number

… that person is NOT affiliated with the real Publishers Clearing House.

At PCH, you will NEVER be asked to pay a fee to claim your prize! The winning is always 100% FREE and 100% FUN!

Now that you know that you will never be asked to pay a fee to claim a Publishers Clearing House prize, I hope you’ll steer clear of imposters pretending to be from PCH. In fact, the smart thing to do is report it to us right away by completing our online PCH Scam Incident Report.     1. Hello Stan, That is a scammer posing as Dave! The real Dave doesn’t privately contact winners via Facebook and you never need to pay to claim a PCH prize. Hi, it’s norr$$$$$$$$@gmail.com so tell me how do I win PCH sweepstakes, if I called PCH and they say I have not won yet but, I have earned 3 billion dollars in tokens dollars and apps say money saved in PCH bank my question is how come I can’t get my winnings from PCH without sending online Danielle Lam’s money.

  2. I’m being told by FBI agent Christopher ware that I have to buy a gold card to claim my winnings from PCH Sweepstakes but when I call PCH customer service number, it says I have not won yet so how did I win PCH sweepstakes.

We would really appreciate it if you would send us the details of this scam call you received. PCH does not send private Facebook messages to our fans so please complete a Scam Incident Report.     2. There’s a contest question on Danielle Lam and I answered all of it, and she told me congratulations. Is she really her or an Impostor? She’s asking me to pay the shipping fee and the custom fee. I’m scared this is not true? That I won a $10k and a truck, just curious if this is true or not ? I appreciate it if you could reply to me, thanks.

      1. Hi Juliana! Please be careful, that’s a scammer. Just so you know, you never have to pay a fee to claim a prize you may have won from PCH, for any reason. It’s important to know also that PCH does not contact winners of a major prize privately via phone, text, email, mail, or on Social Media. If anyone asks you for money for any reason to claim a prize, you can be sure they’re a scammer. Please don’t give them any money, or any personal information! PCH will never send friend requests, private messages, or winner notifications via social media including Facebook, and we also never ask for money to claim a prize.   3. Hi, received a pre-recorded message from someone saying that he was the VP of PCH named Richard P$$$$$$$ concerning an entry I’d entered. He left a call back ph# 1-$$$-$$$-$$$$, along with my tic.#. Is this an legit call? Please respond asap.

Please do not call that number, do not give the scammer any personal info including bank account information, and definitely do not send them any money if they ask.     FB. Danielle Lam 12 of them are on messenger saying I have to pay for my winnings. PCH this is wrong and a scam, if I had money do you honestly think I would play day n night to win? No I would not. Please get my PCH check to me I’m disabled and broke.
