DANIELLE’S DESK – WHERE DO I GO TO CLAIM MY PRIZE?

Hi everyone. Welcome to another edition of Danielle’s Desk, where Danielle answers some of the most common questions we get on social media. Today’s question is: Where do I go to claim my prize?

Question: Where Do I Go To Claim My Prize?

So, to properly answer the question, “Where do I claim my prize,” we need to know what type of prize is being awarded. Major prize award winners like our SuperPrize Winners are notified in person by our famous Prize Patrol. Those are the winning moments we love to watch over and over. For example, our next SuperPrize is our $2.5 Million MegaPrize! WOW! The deadline to enter is 11/29 and the award date is 12/3, so make sure you’re in to win! But the PCH Prize Patrol also hand delivers other big prizes like cars and cash prizes of $10,000.00 and above.

But since PCH awards a steady stream of prizes throughout the year, we may choose to notify winners of lesser prize amounts via an overnight express carrier such as UPS, FedEx or USPS Express Mail and occasionally through email.

For online, mobile or app prizes under $600.00, prizes may be in the form of online gift cards or prize checks. Prize checks under $600.00 are sent via First Class U.S. Mail and via overnight mail (or UPS) for prizes of $600.00 and above. Prizes of $1,000.00 and above may be awarded either by overnight mail (or UPS) or in person by the PCH Prize Patrol, depending on location and availability of the Prize Patrol.

As you can see, a lot of work goes into awarding PCH prizes. But we’re happy to do it, especially for the priceless winning moments we get to capture and share with you fans. Shown above is a great resource to get detailed information on prize payments. It’s the PCH Information Center located on the extremely helpful PCH information website.

Well, there you have it. So, the next time you find yourself asking the question, “Where do I claim my prize,” you’ll know exactly what to do. And remember, we have tons of sweepstakes for you to enter to win every single day! You never know… the PCH Prize Patrol may show up at YOUR front door someday!

    1. Hi David! That is not the real PCH calling you; it’s a scammer that’s only pretending to be from PCH. If they call back, do not give the scammer any personal info including bank account information, and definitely do not send them any money if they ask. If you haven’t already done so, please report that scam contact to us via the following link: http://bit.ly/Report-Scam-To-PCH. I encourage you to read these Safety Tips too: https://bit.ly/FraudProtection2. Please be careful everyone; don’t become a scammer’s victim!

    1. Hello Anthony, that is definitely a scammer who contacted you! The real PCH doesn’t notify our major prize winners via phone, standard mail, email, or social media, and we never ask for money to claim a prize. Please report any details you have about that scam contact to us at this link: http://bit.ly/Report-Scam-To-PCH. 1. Hi Patricia! Thank you so very much for your loyalty. PCH values all of our fans and their incredible support. Keep in mind that while millions of entries are received, only one person can win each giveaway. However, every entry has the same fair chance of winning so I encourage you to keep trying. Winners are all randomly selected; there’s no way to know who we’re going to award next. There are multiple ways to enter each day and there are many exciting giveaways to enter into. You can see them all here: http://bit.ly/Enter-A-PCH-Sweeps. Good luck to you and all who enter!!
