A Letter from PCH Sweepstakes Winner Dick Maigatter

One of our recent sweepstakes winners, Dick Maigatter of Wisconsin, recently sent Dave Sayer a wonderful email describing his plans for the $100,000 Tax Free prize that he won back in April. Here’s the original blog covering the winning moment in case you missed it: Wisconsin Tax Free Winner Happy that He Entered Every Day at PCH.com

Hi Dave,

This is Dick Maigatter, the HAPPY WINNER of the $100,000 TAX FREE prize on April 29th.

I just wanted you to know that we received the DVD of the winning moment, and it was great to watch through the eyes of the camera.

On Mothers Day our daughters and spouses were here, as well as all of the grandchildren, and we all enjoyed the DVD so much that we watched it multiple times.

Little do any of them know but later this month all of them, and our church, will be receiving a portion of the winnings. It makes us feel so thankful that we can help them out.

I know our grandchildren (ages 20 – 27) can use it to help pay back student loans, and help send our great granddaughter to pre-school. It will be quite a day, and i am thinking of doing this on my birthday, May 29th.

We are blessed to have a part in building our new chapel at church.

We enjoy traveling, and now we can do more of that, and make several improvements to our home.

Again, Dave, thanks for the DVD and for delivering the life altering check.

Jean and Dick Maigatter

Congrats and kudos to the Maigatters. It’s great to hear how the prize money won from PCH is helping the Maigatters family and community.
GOOD LUCK!

Hi Nina,
Our winners are as varied as the faces you see in our famous television commercials coming from all walks of life, ages, ethnic backgrounds and regions. Yes, in the past we have had winners under the age of forty.

Hello. If I had won or someday win, I could travel to good doctors or even fly. I’m only 56 and I’m not proud to say I’mm on SSD and I’d do anything to be healthy. In our town, they don’t care if you in pain. I use to have somewhat of a life, but working with my parents business, it was nothing to pick up a garbage barrell, then 2 people caused me to be in unbearable pain. What gets me through the day is praying to the Lord to give me strength to go outside and plant, play, or cut my grass. I look at the people that are worse then me, and thats sad, but it helps my strength. Course, I’d love any gift, but a pleasure trip would be great. I can only stand 15 min, then I got to sit down. It’s been almost a year I been trying to paint 2 walls and ceiling in my bedroom, but I’m getting there, some day it will be done.Thank You for letting me speak my story. If you know a loving, trusting, loyal man who wants a good girl, here I am:):) I am happy!!

As helpful as the money would be, I must admit, I have difficulty believing I can win ANYTHING from PCH. My aunt has been entering drawings for 20+ years and has never won a thing. I’ve been playing for a couple years now, and have yet to even see a $10 prize. Maybe someday, good fortune will head my way.

    Hi Shelina,

Please keep in mind that the winner is selected by a random drawing and that every entry has the same chance of winning, so keep trying!

Please be assured, if you are one of our lucky winners you will definitely be notified. If you are picked as a winner of a prize of $10,000 or more, you will be notified in person by the Prize Patrol. Prizes of under $10,000 are notified by certified mail or by courier. These awards are done as soon as all winning entries and prizes are matched. Our most recent winners can be found on the top of our web site on the scrolling bar and under the “Winners Circle” link. You may also view some of our winning moments at: http://www.pchtv.com.

And remember, at Publishers Clearing House no purchase is ever necessary to enter or win!

    Best of luck!
    Jodi @ PCH
