Winning Sweepstakes Prize Numbers Not Found

In a recent sweepstakes prize drawing for 18 sweepstakes winners, only 7 winning numbers were claimed and 11 sweepstakes prizes went unclaimed!

I reviewed the prize drawing report myself. Seven of these sweepstakes winners were smart enough to send back their entries and ended up receiving the good news that they had each won a cash sweepstakes prize. But, incredibly, more than half of the people who had received a winning bulletin never bothered to enter the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes and never found out that they, too, could have been one of the sweepstakes winners.

What did we do about these “unclaimed prizes”? A second chance random drawing was held to select 11 alternate sweepstakes winners from among all the people who were smart enough to send in their PCH contest entry by the deadline. Boy, were each of those entrants happy to hear they had won a cash sweepstakes prize!

That’s why we often encourage you to enter the PCH Sweepstakes each and every time you hear from us because you never know which one might be a winner … and you don’t want to be one of those “unclaimed prize” folks, especially with $5000 A Week for Life at stake!

  1. Deborah@PCH: I am feeling much better. Thanks..
I always have fun playing the sweepstakes and participating in your offers! If I find something I like then I buy it if I don’t then I don’t. I love the games especially SUDS and the coupons help me out alot! And I have made PCH Friends with Facebook and this blog.. Win or lose, it really doesn’t matter ..Just surprised to see I have been loyal to a company for so long +20 yrs! I would say I love your company.
I bought The Twilight Zone DVD and come to find out a co-worker loved them more then me so I wrapped them up for a Christmas present for him and thanked him for all his hard work. And I recently bought the satin pillow cases that Natalie was talking about because I remember my Aunt gave my Mom some for a Christmas present one year and I couldn’t find them at a local store and I wanted to get some…and on that note I need to go to bed..ONE TRUE LOYAL CUSTOMER of PCH especially all that I am finding out about your company with PCHSearch & Win..AMAZING is all I can say! ^5 PCH! I am truly happy with what PCH offers complaints here in SAV! *smile* Thank You for being more A HOME to me instead of a House and letting me still be able to DREAM AND HOPE! I owe your company more then you will ever realize…just Thanks PCH and everyone that works there-your hard work is truly appreciated!! *smile*

  2. Good for you, Jeff! The only way to get a chance to win is to enter! People who throw out a SuperPrize Number that turns out to be the winning number will forfeit all claims to that prize money and an alternate winner will be chosen at random. With every entry you send in, you get a chance with your SuperPrize Number and a chance in the 2nd chance random drawing! Good luck!
    Deborah @PCH

  3. Hey Cindy, Hope you’re feeling better after all the dental work. Winners are selected at random. When you send in an entry, you get a chance with your SuperPrize Number and a chance in the second chance drawing (if one is needed). Many people throw out winning numbers without entering, so, even if you don’t receive a Bulletin with a winning number you could still possibly win in a second chance drawing. In any event, we hope you always have fun playing the sweepstakes and participating in our offers!

  6. Hi Shapell,
Publishers Clearing House will send out numerous promotional mail bulletins which provide you additional opportunities to enter. Every time you process an entry from the mail bulletin provided the SuperPrize Number assigned will be activated. You are not obligated to enter from all the promotional mail bulletins that are sent.
