In What States Has Prize Money Been Awarded? Question Answered!

Prize money has been awarded to prize winners in all 50 states! But read on to find out if your state has ever had a SuperPrize winner!

The other day, Amanda C. stopped by my office to tell me about a question that was posted on her recent blog, “Wish Upon a Lucky Star And SuperPrize® Dreams Could Come True.” The question was from Annamaria S., who said, “I am from New Mexico. Has anyone ever won from here?” When I heard this, I decided I had to write a blog myself, because I’m so happy to tell you that…

Yes, Annamaria S., there have been Publishers Clearing House prize winners in all 50 states! Ever since the launch of our very first sweepstakes in 1967, we’ve given away millions of dollars in prize money to folks from every state in the country! The Prize Patrol sure has been busy!

But which states have had a SuperPrize Winner? We actually have a map here at PCH Headquarters that represents all the states in which $1,000,000.00…$2,000,000.00… …$10,000.000.00…AND MORE!…in prize money has been awarded in over the years. As the map shows, to date, the Prize Patrol has awarded SuperPrizes to lucky prize winners in twenty-seven states, including…

  • Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida
  • Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland
  • Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri
  • Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York
  • North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania,
  • Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington

Is your state on the list above? If not, I encourage you to enter today for your chance to become its very first SuperPrize winner and get a special visit (and a whole lot of prize money!) from the Prize Patrol!

Remember: our winner selection process is completely random and unbiased, and all entries have an equal chance of winning. North, East, South or West, prize winners can come from anywhere! Wherever you live, it’s just as possible for you to become a PCH SuperPrize winner — like our two newest millionaires, Jason Clark of Pocahontas, Arkansas, and Leroy Faulks of Orange, New Jersey — as it is for every entrant.

Best Wishes!

P.S. If you have any questions you’d like to ask us — about prize money, prize winners or anything else, do what Annamaria S. did — post them in the blog comment space below, and we’ll do our best to answer ASAP!

Oh and i cant wait to meet you guys when you arrive at my doorstep or wherever you guys decide to surprise after i win.
God bless you guys for changing lives, ill see you later.

    1. Hi Yanet,

If you are playing PCHlotto from a mobile device, you will only be able to access the first out of 5 cards. In order to play all 5 cards, you will need to play from a personal computer. If you are playing from a personal computer and it’s still telling you that you haven’t chosen numbers for all the cards, please make sure that you’ve chosen numbers for 5 cards and send us a message at our Ask Us page: so we can look into this for you.

  3. Somehow I have a feeling that the Prize Patrol will be at my front door to present me with an enormous check. I made a promise to GOD once I receive my winnings of millions, donate 10% to church, help myself which I have always put last, help my family, make a donation to battered women shelter, foster kids, and border babies, kids overseas. GOD always said to give back and it shall return abundantly. “I can’t wait to see you guys”

  4. I came home from work tonight and saw i had a check from pch for $100. I am so excited but i know that there are scammers everywhere. Did i really won?

    1. Hi Jana,

It sounds like you have received a legitimate prize, but before you cash the check, please give us a call toll-free at 1-800-645-9242 just to be safe. You’re right that you can never be too cautious these days.

    1. Hi Christina,

PCH Sweepstakes winners are chosen at random, and each entry has the same chance of winning. You never know who will become the next BIG winner, so don’t lose hope!

  6. its great 27 states have had those winners. I Think what would be even nicer if my state West Virgina would be on the big winners list some day. i know you have given prizes to people in my state but never the big one. It would be great some day to see a winner from WV as we have a lot of history here and its a beautiful state.

  7. I been reading these comments and someone asked about the 1,ooo,ooo-plus-5,000-a-week-for life prizes and a rep. said it ended in November with Leroy Faulks..

I received a Winner Selection Notice letter in February of this year to be returned by March. If this sweepstakes already ended, why would I get a letter so many months afterwards??

    1. Hi R.C.,

There is still a $5,000.00 A Week for Life prize being promoted under Giveaway 1830, but this prize doesn’t include a $1,000,000.00. Perhaps that’s what you received.
