  1. Hi, I recieved a letter saying I won $1000000.00 I really thought I won, but I called and it gave me a vague answering message, I then thought to check the web site, this confirmed the scam. I was so excited since I’m very poor! But anyway I thought I’d report this scam. I wish I could send a photo of the letter, since I can’t the phone numbers are: 1-747-999-4486 this area code is from Canada 1-709-701-7888 area code from California. So please don’t act on these letters people just end up losing their money.

  2. I have received a scam call from Jamaica 876 858-3289 claiming I won 6.5 million but want $2500. To get it. Talked to a Jeffery. Michael Anderson called to give me claim numbers, ID numbers, lawyer names etc. I have all claim numbers written down. After reading pch scams I have blocked his phone number.

    1. Hi Maryann. That is not the real PCH calling you; it’s a scammer that’s only pretending to be from PCH. 3. He is back! On September 27th at 7:19 p.m. some one by the name of Todd Sloane told me that I won $850,000.00 dollars. This person told me that my claim number is 89773433. I notice that the claim number changes at the last digit at the end. This person asked me for my personal information: My full name, address, telephone number, age, and sex. I notice that I can’t fill out the information because it does not allow me. I know it is a big scam.

    1. Hello Noemi, we’re glad you knew that wasn’t the real PCH. As tempting as it may be, we don’t encourage anyone to engage a scammer any longer than is minimally necessary. Simply tell them you know they’re a scam and hang up. PCH doesn’t notify major winners by phone, standard mail, email, or social media, and we never ask for money to claim a prize. Please report all scam contacts to PCH via the following link: http://bit.ly/Report-Scam-To-PCH. You can also check out this FAQ for info on how you can block scammers from contacting you via Facebook: http://bit.ly/StopFBScammers. Stay safe everyone and be careful of scammers pretending to be the REAL Prize Patrol!
