PCH Giveaway Numbers And PCH SuperPrize Numbers

They’re both important, but do you know the difference?

Hello friends! After our most recent PCH prize award, we noticed that a few of our friends on the blog were a little confused about the difference between PCH Giveaway numbers and PCH SuperPrize numbers. Our fans mean the world to us, and we always want you to be “in the know” so we’d like to take this opportunity to explain them and how they work. You see, PCH Giveaway numbers and PCH SuperPrize numbers are both useful numbers used within the sweepstakes process here at PCH, but they have very different functions.

What Is A PCH Giveaway Number?

You may have noticed Giveaway numbers marked on bulletins you get from us either online or through the mail. With so many sweepstakes running at any given time, our contest department assigns each new sweepstakes a giveaway number to easily identify it and distinguish it from the others. Giveaway Numbers are assigned consecutively and are four or five digits long. A Giveaway number describes a specific sweepstakes opportunity and is NOT unique to each entrant.

Here’s an interesting related fact: Did you know that there can be more than one SuperPrize winner from a Giveaway Number? That’s because PCH officials authorize contest officials to take a “special early look” for a matching winning number before the end of a giveaway. In fact, we had 6 millionaire winners from PCH Giveaway No. 6900. And, we’ll be awarding the first of many SuperPrizes from PCH Giveaway No. 8800 very soon!

What Is A PCH SuperPrize Number?

When you timely enter the PCH Sweepstakes, a unique SuperPrize number is added to the Winner Selection List for you. The Winner Selection List  is the official Publishers Clearing House record of all the entries that are eligible to win a prize in a particular timeframe.

Only you can win with a SuperPrize number that has been issued to you. In some promotions, your SuperPrize number might be issued upfront. In other promotions, it might not be expressly stated, but you can be sure that you will be issued a valid SuperPrize number with each timely entry you submit. That being the case, it makes sense to enter often and get as many SuperPrize numbers as you can added to the Winner Selection List in your name.

I hope this cleared up any questions you might have about the differences between PCH SuperPrize Numbers and PCH Giveaway Numbers. As you can see, a lot goes into the process behind the scenes of getting the PCH Sweepstakes to you! My advice, enter as many of our sweeps as you can  (each with their unique PCH Giveaway Number) and claim as many SuperPrize numbers (that only YOU can win with) as you can!

Good luck!
