Blog Reader Spotlight: Melissa S. Loves to Enter the PCH Sweeps!

Greetings, and welcome to another exciting Blog Reader Spotlight!

Today we feature a true PCH fan and friend who loves to enter the PCH Sweeps and really enjoys reading the blog – drumroll, please! – Melissa S.!

Recently, here on the PCH Blog, Melissa, who lives in Washington State, commented on 15 reasons she’d like to win $15 Million in our Summer Prize Event. Among her reasons she included retiring early (even if she is only 25 years old!); spending more time with her mom who, unfortunately, is suffering from cancer; taking her parents on a much-needed vacation; planning and paying for her wedding; and sharing the wealth with her four sisters.

“Overall, most of the reasons I would like to win $15 million aren’t for the money itself,” she added, “but for the financial stability it would provide me in order to spend TIME with the people who provide the most value to my life and to spend TIME making changes that will positively improve my life and the people around me.”

When it comes to PCH prizes, Melissa is certainly in it to win it. She tells me her favorite way to enter the Sweeps is through the PCH phone app (android) (iPhone). I do also enter online on the website but I feel like the app is super-easy and convenient to use,” she says.

She’s also taken advantage of the opportunities to enter through PCHSearch&Win. Plus, she says she really likes PCH’s instant win games such as Dunk Tank and Cornhole.

Melissa tries to enter the PCH Sweeps every day. She wants everyone to know that “it takes only minutes out of your day and it’s pretty fun!’

Although she hasn’t yet won a PCH prize, she says it doesn’t keep her from trying. “I’m hoping to win the SuperPrize at the end of the month (even if it’s the second chance drawing)!” she says.

Melissa enjoys keeping up with previous winners and learning a little bit about new winners – and that’s why she likes reading the PCH Blog. The blog also allows her to learn new fun ways to enter the Sweepstakes.

“And I LOVE following along with the clues during the special early look prize events,” she adds.

Melissa’s favorite types of blog posts are the ones she can relate to. It’s interesting when the blog authors post tidbits about their personal lives or things they have experienced while working at PCH. You really feel like you get to know the employees at PCH,” she says.

I asked Melissa, “When you comment on the blog, what do you hope our blog readers will feel?” and her answer was truly inspirational:

“I hope the blog readers feel inspired to better their lives and the ones around them. Everyone has bad days but one person’s compassion (even if you don’t know them personally) can really alter how someone else’s mood, which will affect how their day plays out.”

Thank you so much, Melissa, for being a loyal PCH Blog reader, and a fabulous PCH fan and friend! I’m sure you’ve inspired our blog readers with your enthusiasm and positivity!

Keep on entering, everyone, and enjoy the blog!

  1. Debbie Malissa’s views are so real🙂. She knows what it takes to make a dream reality. I will keep trying👍. Staying positive, having faith, and dedicating a few minutes of time to entering and playing my favorite game “Tri-Peaks Rush can declare a winning moment for me🙂. PCH Blogs are a platform for PCH Fans to go to, to keep us inspired to enter👍. Thank you Debbie for representing PCH Blog👍.

  2. I have been playing on PCH for a few years.I was a clown and a C,A,S,A as well as doing things for young people. I had a massive stroke so i had to learn basic thing s like walking ect.I love children and young people .My prayers are to still help kids who can go to church camps and help them to grow in to mature young adults. To be able to help my own children and grandkids.I would like to move to Fl panhandle sense the ice and snow keeps me indoors alot due to my Diabetic nerve disease.I never play the lottery but Grandpa always played PCH entries. He love your offerings and brought magazine`s every year.Grandpa died back un 1998 at 99.He was an old ww1 vet and believed he would win.So heres to grandpa`s love of PHC and if i win i would like to honor him.I know many would like to win.I will not give up and I thank you`all for this chance to play and fulfill a few dreams .I hope to meet you all very soon.I ask each day to play and not give up.God Bless you for giving me this chance.

  3. I like entering the sweepstakes and I will no longer be buying anything though. In July I bought something for 32.00 and there was an additional $9.41 added for shipping. That makes your products more expensive than buying local or on Amazon. A 33% shipping charge is unjustifiable and a business killer. Get that under control and I will consider re-examiniing my stance. And the really interesting thing is that you never post the shipping on your bill detail. I had to go back into my records to figure it out. Shame on you for this practice. Lack of Transparency in order to keep the customer in the dark! If you were above board you wouldn’t be trying to hide this information from your customers.

    1. Hello Jennifer, thank you for contacting PCH. In order for us to assist you with your question we will need a bit more information. 4. I was wondering, after an early prize look winner like on 8/31/17, do all of your past entries get erased or do they still count for the next drawings?

  5. Very nice we all have hundreds of reasons to win and each one of them is reasonable for the person that wrote it , me will take several pages , I will say , retirement at my 60, my health, my kids , my financial stability that will get rid of the daily stress that actually cause almost 70 % of diseases. Also have my dream come true before I become severely ill , which is travel in the ocean, living aboard in my trawler for several months, then come back home , see family, help them more and fly them wherever we are, they will like that, perhaps it’s just a dream, but dreams comes true, I will keep dreaming until the last breath of air, its a positive way to live and stay young. God Bless the Winner.

  6. Yesterday was the LAST DAY to enter and it had me on the edge. I know that we’re probaly not going to win but that would be an amazing blessing from these amazing people who change peoples lives everyday. They are truly my favorite people right and i am still going to be happy for the people who are going to win because i know how life changing thats going to be for them. I am hoping that i will finally get to help others that are not doing very well more specifically the people of AFRICA i have been wanting to build shelters and provide them with necessities that every human being needs to survive, I promise you this isnt a trick to win i really want to this because i love helping people and seeing their reactions but mostly my family i want to live in a better community and bigger city with more opportunitys but i also plan on giving nack to my hometown rather i win or not because i want to see better things happening here. I have been entering everyday since the first day and it has been a rollercoaster for me because some days i have hope and others days i do not have hope of winning. But if it were us to win i promise it would be used to help others and also my family because everyone could use a little extra cash🤷‍♀️and a better life. i am sorry this is so long i just really have alot to say but i just want to congratulate the soon to be winners and wish them a happy life and give thanks to the people of Publishers Clearing House for this amazing opportunity even though i don’t know who the winners are yet but I really just don’t feel like we won but i will go for the next prize of a lifetime. Never give up😩💪🏽On something you really want. SHOOT FOR THE STARS ALWAYS🤗🤔🌌

  7. I started entering when I was about 25 too! I’m 31 and I still try to enter daily on the phone and on PCH.com. Best of luck to everyone, but I really hope I’m the lucky one this Thursday!!! I’ll be at work, but I’ll gladly take a personal day if Dave, Danielle, Howie and Todd show up with the crew! 😀
