I was rather surprised by this since there’s never been any publicity spreading the word to the local citizenry that the Prize Patrol man lives in town. Yes, my friends know – as do members of various organizations to which I belong. But unless I’m dressed in my Prize Patrol blazer and carrying balloons, roses and a Big Check – “as seen on TV” — no one pays much attention.
So I said to her, “Yep, I’m the guy. I guess you’ve been seeing our commercials.”
She nodded “Yes” and asked, “When are you coming to my house?”
“Gee, I couldn’t tell you,” I responded. “Have you entered the PCH sweepstakes?”
She shook her head and admitted, “Well, not for a while” – which, from her expression, looked like “Not for many moons.”
“Well, you know,” I said, “you can enter the PCH Sweepstakes online – at pch.com. That’s an easy way to do it these days. You don’t have to wait for the mail. And this way you can enter every day and have more chances to win.”
“Really?” she said. “I guess I’ll do that. Thanks a lot. You have a nice day now.”
I was disappointed that after several years of PCH TV advertising spreading the word about the online sweepstakes entry option via pch.com, this woman – who clearly would LOVE to win $1 Million a Year for Life – was kind of in the dark.
Well, you faithful readers of this blog know better. You probably enter the PCH Sweepstakes online every day figuring “Another entry has got to be a good thing. And it’s so easy, why not?”
Are some of your friends and relatives also in the dark? Let them know that it’s OK to enter the traditional way — by mail. But entering online at pch.com is quick, convenient and can really pay-off Big Time. Just ask our recent PCH millionaires – like Leroy Faulks, Larry Brown, Karen Anderson, Julie Laughlin, Joe Beane, Marilyn Ragin — and scores of others! Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes winners are real people, from every walk of life, from all over the USA – north, south, east and west.
Do me a favor: Help us keep spreading the word about pch.com, and we’ll keep spreading the wealth – maybe to your front door!
Thanks for entering, and good luck!
